The staff used to be friendly but even after trying to start conversations just to be nice, I'm always met with completely being ignored. If not, they seem to go out of their way to talk to anyone else that isn't me, when I'm the one checking out and trying to be nice. I have Agoraphobia and this place makes it so much worse. If I ever go here in the future, it will simply be for convenience and I won't even try to talk to anyone here as I'm only met with rudeness. It feels like they're profiling me and watching every step I take and it's the exact opposite of how a local grocery store should make you feel. I hate that Food Rite is so close to where I live or I would never shop here ever again. The prices of everything are ridiculously high as well.

I enjoy shopping with the good folks at Food Rite and the professional customer service exhibited from every employee.The management staff are quick to help when I may not be able to locate and item. They are very apologetic when something for which I am looking may be sold out. I enjoy shopping at this establishment. My needs are as important to them and the employees demonstrate that attitude toward everyone.

Very clean, everything in it's place, making everything so easy to locate, great looking meat, fresh seasonal produce, friendly and helpful staff that are easy to locate when you need to check out or simply want to ask a question. I found that other grocers in surrounding area were rude and didn't really want to be bothered :( and having my groceries carried to the car for me by polite young men who were well mannered and respectful was such a pleasant treat that I certainly didn't anticipate. This is definitely my new grocery. Very impressed in all areas. Cleanest store I've been shopping since relocating to the West Tenn area.

I was just informed that Food Rite in Newbern just fired one of the seniors who graduated from Dyer County last night because he went to his graduation. I think that's pretty sad that one of the locally owned business can't let a person off of work to attend their own graduation. It's a time to celebrate the accomplishments of kids instead of firing a kid for participating in their graduation. All I hear is support ur local business how can I support a local business when they can't support a child's graduation ceremony.

My weekly visit has always been an enjoyably short shopping experience. Friendly cashiers and other employees have assisted me in finding items throughout the store. Very satisfied with the service i receive.

They have the best fresh meat-beef, chicken, pork. And they cut it right, too. Friendly staff, the manager is great. It may cost a few cents more to shop here, but it's worth it.

Past 5 times i been in there no one person offer to help with my buggie full of grociery. I can understand a few bags but a full buggie and ehen they get payed to do. Its bad the past few times i been in there all i see is one boy bagging and this is usealie in the afternoon.

Most of the employees are freindly. The deli employees need a 101 on what chicken pieces are what. They bread is often moldy, so pay close attn if you are picking some up. Check exparation dates. Many items through out the store are very close to expiring. The produce is in crappy shape for the most part. It's close and convenient though if you don't have time to drive into Dyersburg. So for that last minute thing, or what not. It's better than nothing.

Overpriced nothing special very very kind people and employees though they do roll your groceries out to the car and put them in the trunk for you which I thought was very kind and very sweet but as far as the management goes they are jacking the price is up and trying to make a buck off the little guy you might as well go to Kroger or Walmart unless you're getting that 4 for 20 meat deal and in that case be careful cuz it could be Rancid

My experience at the Food Rite is the Manager Nathan is Lazy and makes Fred and Crew do everything, while he does next to Nothing and I should know because I grew up in the Grocery Industry, Since my Father was Bill Bland and he outsold everyone and was a Self made Millionaire. I believe each person should pull there weight!!!

The store offers basic products and lacks any vision in current health dietary goods.It is abundantly a distributor of meats that lack conscious ethical standards: organic, Free range, ethical animal treatment, and lacks understanding of the risks associated with GMO's -Not meant in a negative attack upon any person or employee, rather the sincere awareness of health, greater wellness, and ethical treatment of animals and people.They would greatly benefit from hiring a Certified Nutritionist and Dietician at the Corporate Level and Developing a Community Awareness Program in each location to both teach the public current Standards, newer Info on foods and the benefits of foods to health and disease prevention.This could be one of the most positive public services to the communities and simultaneously a corporate Public Relations benefit to the company's, their image, and positive revenue growth, and in most cost effective to their bottom line, grossing an estimated 10-20% increase per every dollar spent in their related overhead.Let's encourage greater mutual respect from Corporate America to fellow human's and animal's wellbeing. This is the balance factor our communities, states, and nation can realize enormous benefits from implementing.
