this store in a mess and some isles and storage door block by rotainer ,it even look like they can't even clean and why are some lights off ? I think they need clean that store out and hired people that will work

Shelves stay empty, half the time and when they do have merchandise it's all over the place or on the floor. 1 register working. No online pickup, no self check out, closes before posted time. They close during the day about once a month because they have to clean and reorganize. I've seen about 15 new employees the past 3 years and I think they are on manager #4... they don't give a damn about that dollar general. The need to bulldoze it and start over.

Has a wide selection of things which makes me think of it like a smaller version of a Walmart. But they had rolltainers everywhere, there was two aisles that I couldnt even get the things I wanted because a rolltainer was sitting right in front of it. It also looks quite messy, like they don't take the time to put things where they go they just leave it a mess. I have been many times and each time was disappointed.

Worst store ever been to shelves are always empty and can't walk down isles because they never want to put anything up waited 5 minutes at the cash register and nobody ever came to check me out so I just left the stuff there and walked out from now on I will drive out the way before going there

One of the neatest, most well-organized Dollar Generals I have been in. Great variety of merchandise. The only drawback I saw was putting clothes on racks outside that one would assume to be on sale since most Dollar Generals do that, I was surprised and dissatisfied to learn that they were not on sale.

Terrible management. I was in line and seen them turn down a customer and then wouldn't even wouldn't even give her a reason why. Wouldn't even let her buy her groceries. And then someone else tried for her and they wouldn't even check them out. How can they deny customer service like that and not even have a reason? After that I will never go back. They were so rude to that poor girl and done it in front of everyone. That's not professional at all. If they replace diane I will shop in there again. She is not manager material. She lost one store idk why they give her another. Not including she can never keep any employees. It's always someone different working.

I shop at Dollar General for just about everything, but the Newbern Store is always a complete mess. It is one of the worst Dollar General's I have been to. Can hardly find what I'm looking for, due to all the stock still being in the aisles instead of on the shelves. There is always plenty of employees there, but then you have to wait 20 minutes to check out because only 1 of the 3-5 workers are actually waiting on customers. It just seems, to me, like the Employees & Store Manager don't take pride in there store and everyone is doing the bare minimum.

Terrible place to work for. The manager is completely crooked that's why the store is always understaffed. She can't keep anyone. If they would put in a new manager it wouldn't be bad! She lost one store why put her in another one??

I will not set foot in your Dollar General location on Hwy 77ever again. You have a smart mouth little young manager or assistant manager their that I had it out with over my check. I've been shopping at the old dollar store and then the new one since they were opened. I rate that store a 0. I will go to Dyersburg Family Dollar and do my shopping. There use to be a nice friendly bunch that worked at this one. People complain constantly about this dollar store. You need to go in as a customer sometime and see how you get treated.Shelia Cottrell

Had what I was looking for but trying to pay at the register is very inconvenient with cash only. Several people walked out because many people don't carry cash. The employees know it is aggravating and can't help the situation.

It's an alright Dollar General, cashier was pleasant has most of the things I needed, but the place looked like a Hurricane hit it and some of the prices were really higher than the Mega store's!

This is another store that really needs to step up their restocking. I would say 40% of the time I go there they have no Chocolate Milk. This is an edit-Just went there AGAIN looking for Chocolate Milk and none was there so I asked a clerk about it and he said they brought in less milk than normal this time. This is very unsatisfactory. I plan on contacting the warehouse

This particular store is insanely messy and UNORGANIZED. It's really difficult to find anything in there. The employees are nice, though.

That DG app is a mess won't let me reset my password so I can't use the coupons, but hey Walmart is more than happy to let me use DG adds to be able to use the coupons.

It's a good place lots of friendly employee Tabitha the manger is good with the customers on 2 complaints at times the lines are. long and the store has clutter in a lot of places but it's still a good place to shop

They have 3 registers and 4-5 employees and only 1 register open. Employees walk around like they don't see customers waiting in line. Terrible customer service.
