We've taken our Bichons there for years! They treat our pups as though they were their own and no one knows more about dogs then Steven, the owner. A great staff including a 20 year ex-vet tech. Pricing is reasonable for the service they provide, which is literally a spa day for your fur baby!

Just completed my 3rd appointment with Tidy Dog and figured it was about time I wrote a review on Google. Each time I have gone to Tidy Dog they have been so nice and welcoming with their customer service. Special shout out to the master groomer Steven. I have requested different grooming styles for my dog Oxford each time I have taken him and Steven executes the cut perfectly every time. My dog in particular has the fur to experiment with different looks so it’s been fun see what they can do.On top of that I’m able to schedule appointments with ease, and they have little holding areas that are not cages were the dogs can wait which is nice. Was told to be on site 15 minutes before appointment. We showed up with our dog and employee said stylist is going to be a few minutes late. They said cash only and stylist sets the price. Never received a message from employees and stopped back in after 1/2 hour and employee said stylist would be there in an hour. Told them to bring me my dog. Charged me 30.00 for bath and nail trim. Told her he had just had nails trimmed the day before. This establishment is very shady. Would not recommend to anyone!

Love this place!! My 15 year old dog went yesterday and was treated wonderfullyThey done everything I asked and he looks so good. I highly recommend this place. Staff treated me like family and you can see they love what they do. My Boo dog loved them too!

I went in to get my dog groomed a couple weeks ago and I told them I wanted it short because she sheds so much (She is border collie chow mix, so length of a border collie but hair thickness of a chow). When I went to pick her up, it was almost the same length, just a trim was done it looked like. I told them I expected it to be shorter and who I believe to be the owner told me they took out all the undercoat and she will not be shedding, and this is better for her skin. I’ve never done this so I believed he knew what he was talking about. Every single day since we left the groomers, I have picked up multiple globs of hair off the floor of my house at least like 20 times a day, which did not happen before! This is not how she shed before. She is somehow shedding MORE after getting groomed. The staff was very nice, but it seemed that they did what they wanted to do and didn’t listen to me.UPDATE- The salon called us back and invited us to come in to get her shaved, free of charge. The owner was very nice and apologetic, just some miscommunication between the both of us. Will be going back, and will be more clear next time. Thank you Tidy

My dog was sprayed by a skunk in the middle of the pouring rain this morning. The staff at Tidy Dog were incredibly kind, and they worked him into the schedule on the same day. He looks (and, more importantly, smells) amazing after their work! Thanks so much! Highly recommend!

I rescued a dog who had been abandoned and left homeless. He was found roaming the streets of Atlanta and as a result had little or no trust in humans. I took him to Tidy Dog with severely matted fur and an intense dislike for anyone touching him. Steve worked with him and for a time, Steve was the only one that could touch him. Little by little, this baby began to trust again. I've been told that he is a favorite and much loved by everyone at Tidy Dog. He still has issues with new people but soon comes around. I'm thankful every day for the caring that Steve showed my fur baby.

We take our 65 pound retriever-mix rescue, Huck to Tidy Dog. Huck would not let us, nor the vet, trim his nails. Huck responded so positively at Tidy Dog you would have thought he was at the spa! They Dremel them and are able to trim them very short with no anxiety by Hick. The staff were so welcoming, kind, professional and QUICK. We now go to Tidy Dog 1x/month, and look forward to the trip.

I am so disappointed with the service I received at this place! It is almost criminal what they did with my dog! I went a few weeks ago for a maintenance only (no cut) and everything seemed fine. Came back for full grooming and my dog looks embarrassingly bad! I gave her a grooming during "covid" and she looked better. I dropped her off and called a few hours later to check on her. The woman was rude and implied I should "just wait for them to call me". I felt weird then. Almost like, let me talk to her? I asked for her paws, face and tail not to be cut, only slightly trimmed. What I got was this uneven, sissor cut a child must have done. I'm not even sure these people have training! I am adding before and after pictures. You be the judge. He face and head was so low I cannot even put her bow in. I look at her and I feel sad. $90 for this. When we called no one answered. We texted and no one responded to that either. I lprobably would have lost it there but I was so happy to see her I did not realize how bad it was until I got in the car! I am still upset! My dog is my princess! I just moved to Nashville and this is not a good start!!**** Update***** Never recieved so much as a note from a carrier pigeon from this business. Shame on you for using your Vetran status and not living it!!

Kathleen and the folks at Tidy Dog do a great job of grooming our 85 pound Pyrenees mix. He sheds substantially less after their treatment. We love that they put him in a tie when he’s ready to be picked up. They got us in for an emergency same-day appointment when he was sprayed by a skunk.

We love Tidy Dog! They take care of my babies, my dog Bugsy always feels better after his spa day. He is a schnorkie and doesn’t really like me brushing him. I was originally scheduled at 930 am, They overbooked so I move it to 1130. I asked how long this appointment would take because it’s our first time I was told an hour. I walk in at 11:45 yes I was late but I did call, then they told me that I would need to drop them off for upwards of three hours. My big dog is nervous so I said no and adjusted of the appointment to just be a nail trim. I gave them a small history of my 65 pound dog, but still there was no introducing to the table there was no introducing to the collar, they were obviously in a hurry. I stood in front of the table and his nails were trimmed, I know that I am an over protective fur mom, but this was a lot. My boy was obviously stressed. He started attempting to get out of the collar because his nails had been cut too much, he is still bleeding at home. I will never be back. My car seats are bloody and my boy is stressed the the max. I must say that the ladies were very kind, the man, not so much.

Love this place!! Super nice and friendly and they did an incredible job getting our girl cleaned up! Reasonably priced and very knowledgeable. Very thorough all around. They care about the furbabies. Like being able to see and interact with staff when waiting their turn for services. They aren't in tiny wire cages while waiting. This is a veteran-owned small business and offer a military discount. They also have products to make life easier for everone in the house, like scented candles for sale, and CBD products for dogs & cats and some other things. No hesitations, DEFINITELY recommend this shop to all!!!And they gave our girl a cute bandana, too 😉

I dropped my dog off for grooming today at 12:45. When I asked how long, they told me it would be a few hours because they were short a groomer. At 3, I called back to ask how much longer they would be. They said it would still be a couple of hours because they were short “a few” groomers. I finally went to pick him up at 5, I still hadn’t heard from them. When I got there, they said it would be another 45 minutes because the groomer was dematting him.When I picked him up, he was super excited and at first glance he looked fine! However, when I got home and really looked at him, I got a little upset. His behind is completely shaved. He has gaps on his head, his legs, tummy (as you can see in the pictures), and not to mention there are still plenty of matts in his fur. I asked several people how he did during the grooming, they all said he did great with the exception of being afraid of the blowdryer. He’s a schnauzer, so I understand the coat was matted. Not once did someone say it was so matted to the point he had to be gapped or shaved. There is no excuse for his entire behind to be shaved because his fur doesn’t get matted there.When he got home, he was also dying of thirst and drank nearly an entire bowl of water. After doing more research on this place, I notice in several reviews people mention their dogs being extremely thirsty since they wait so long in kennels without water or being walked. It also seems to be a very common thing with the grooming taking an entire day.UPDATE: I notice the business owner has responded to my review. This is also a trend I’ve noticed with this business and should be a red flag to everyone... they respond to negative reviews with lies, disrespect, and denial for their wrongdoing. My appointment was at 1 PM. We arrived at 12:45. Is it possible they adjusted this in their system to reflect poorly on me? Maybe. I was not late and make it a point to NOT be late to grooming appointments because I don’t like my dog being there longer than necessary. I’ve attempted to call back, and did not get an answer (twice) after seeing his response. Was I a week behind my typical grooming schedule? Maybe. But how does that excuse my dog being there nearly 7 hours, without water or being walked, gapped, and miserable? He’s a schnauzer, I didn’t ask for any type of special cut other than the standard schnauzer cut. It’s a normal thing. If this is beyond your scope of services, a heads up would’ve been nice and I could’ve went elsewhere. When they noticed my review (before this update) a lady, who works there, called me. She offered a refund and free grooming and said it did take them longer than needed and she did have an inexperienced groomer that day. I did not take her up on her offer. Fast forward til today, and I see that Steven Dixon has responded with pure lies. This company is corrupt. Do your research before going here. Read the reviews yourself and you will notice the trends. They take longer than necessary, you pick your dogs up dehydrated, they response with hostile comments, and fail to see what they do wrong in the long run. Thanks for proving my point Steven Dixon. Feel free to return my calls anytime! For now, I will continue to spread the word about the type of place you’re running.UPDATE x2: I have spoken with Steven Dixon and we had a great conversation. It sounds like he was misinformed by some of his staff members regarding the time I arrived and his response was based off of second hand information. He assured me he was going to continue to look into the situation and I do believe he will. He seems very reasonable and someone who loves animals and wants his business to do well. I appreciated the phone call and it did make me feel better about his response.

The folks are always super nice, and I like that I can walk in the back and pick up and drop off my pup. I feel better than letting be taken to some back door area I can't see. I feel like it's a horrible kennel, my imagination, lol.

Pricing is definitely fair compared to other nearby groomers. I highly recommend Tidy Dog for any of your pet grooming needs! My dog, MJ, is deaf and nervous of new people. However, she felt extremely comfortable at Tidy Dog. They catered to her disability and respected her past trauma. They treated her so well and I’m so grateful of that!Tidy Dog went above and beyond for MJ in a way that I’ve never experienced with another groomer. I will 100% feel confident and comfortable bringing MJ back here for her future grooming needs, as well as recommending this business to all of my friends/family with pups!

I’ve been a customer of tidy dog for 1.5 years now and it is the only place i take my dog to get his nails clipped. He still hates getting them done but the employees there are so incredible and experienced. i’m in and out in 5-10 minutes and they are able to handle my moving dog who hates the process. I had the most amazing experience here today! I took my dog, Jolene, in for a nail trim/grind. We walked in and were greeted by a smiling face who made us feel so welcome and truly appreciated that we were there. After she petted and praised Jolene, she got down to details quickly about why we were there, grabbed my information and got us seen immediately. I even got to go back with Jolene and watch the nail trim. The woman I worked with praised Jolene the entire time while working on her nails and calmed her initial fear of being in the table. The entire staff was friendly and they were so sweet with all the dogs there. It was neat to see “behind the scenes.”Afterwards, Jolene got treats and praise from everyone for being such a good girl. We were there for less than 20 minutes, but they made us both feel special and got the job done in a short time, which is a MUST with a boxer puppy. They get bored easily. And as for the nail trim/grind itself, 5 stars. Highly recommend!!
