We all love the DOG spot and so do our little gremlin Palmerian's! Pepe La Pue can be a bit Fresh but he loves the treatment and is always good. Its really hard to find passionate people as passionate and loving as we are with our dogs!This is the SOPT to go! The staff is amazing and we love them. We have all become good friends and will continue to go there.Trust me we are very critical of groomers, we have no stress what so ever in sending our Dogs there.If you are looking for the best with very reasonable pricing this is the only place to go!

I’ve been bringing my dog to daycare at the Dog Spot for a little over a year! Pongo is always so excited to walk inside and is happy when I pick him up. I am thankful that the staff makes sure that my dog is safe and healthy! I am a nurse and the hours that the Dog Spot is open on the weekdays works perfectly with my work schedule. We love the Dog Spot!

I’ve been to the Dog Spot twice so far with my puppy. Ashley, my groomer has been amazing. She spends a good amount of time with each of her clients talking about their cut, their needs, their concerns. I’ve had to wait for a few minutes for my turn, but I’ve enjoyed watching Ashley talk with different clients and connect with their dogs. She clearly loves what she does. There’s been others there that have help me with grooming products and conditioners to get out really tough mats. I love their selection of dog toys and chews. The dog spot is my new spot… Ashley is my new groomer I am a fan.

DO NOT GO HERE. I just picked up my dog, who we have been taking her for a few months now and has never had any problem besides one little time out session to my knowledge, and was told she cannot return for 2-3 weeks. Stunned as she is a very sweet, lovable, playful dog, who like any other dog, wants to play with other dogs, of course asked what happened. The owner told me he heard she was being very aggressive towards the other dogs but said he didn’t see it so the girl who brings her out will tell me more. The sweet girl who brought her out said “she was just playing too hard nudging the other dogs, but definitely wasn’t strike worthy.” I said “he just told me she can’t come back for a few weeks?” And she replied with “I definitely didn’t think it was that bad.” I told him what she said and he said “well someone else said she was bad so 2 week break it is.” No proof. No valid explanation. ….. leaving me and my boyfriend trying to figure out what to do with our dog while we have to go to work during the week. I wish I would have asked for video footage but I saw a few reviews down a girl had a similar problem and they wouldn’t give her the footage. Their cameras and surveillance are trash though. The only reason I’m giving them 1 star is due to the self service bathtub. I have been warned over and over again about this place, but disregarded. Do your research and don’t take your dog here.

First time here, and a good experience. Although I was not happy with the the cut, (only bc I was not more specific on what I wanted) they allowed me to bring my dog back for touch ups free of charge and the cut came out great! Thank you Juanita & dog spot!

The Dog Spot is the best dog place around! My fiancé and I love coming here because they always have the specific food our dog needs because of her allergies. They’re always so nice, going above and beyond. We came in yesterday and they were out of stock of her dry food, so we checked back today and found that they had brought a bag over from another location and held it for us without us even asking. The Dog Spot always takes care of us and we will continue to give them our business!

I would give this service 0 stars if I could. We took our 8 month old golden retriever puppy in to get groomed and asked for a trim and specified "please just a trim and at most 1/2"-1" off his coat." His groomer was Ashley and she verbalized her acknowledgement of this request and even assured us that she has even had a golden retriever of her own. Only for him to come out shaved!! Who shaves a golden retriever?! We asked for at most, 1/2"-1" off his coat during the trim and he doesn't even have 1/2" of fur left on his body! For one- it looks absolutely ridiculous- see before and after photos attached. For two- golden retrievers are double coated dogs and should never be shaved (unless for a medical reason). Would not recommend this place, especially for a long coated dog.

I took my dog to get groomed and had the best experience! Katelyn was so friendly and reassured me she would take great care of my girl. My dog has never looked so good after a groom; I will definitely be coming back to see Katelyn in the future!

My puppy got groomed and attended daycare at The Dog Spot. The facility is very clean and there are webcams in all the play areas, so we could observe my puppy at any time. There is a staff member in each play area at all times to clean up and make sure everyone is safe and happy. There's also lots of treats, toys, and supplies here to purchase.

Had the best first experience at TDS with my goldendoodle Griffin. Groomer was Weslei. She cut him exactly how I wanted her to. TDS catered to my dogs anxiety so well and I felt comfortable leaving him in their care. Highly recommend!

The dog spot is wonderful for all things grooming, daycare and boarding. Chad Baker and his staff are friendly, caring , knowledgeable and punctual. My 2 doodles start getting excited a few blocks away from TDS ! I'm a nurse and the hours are perfect for me for daycare. A lot of nurses I see dropping off in the morning as well! Extensive quality dog food and treats available as well! Murphy and Fiona think You should try it! ❤️❤️

I take my pup to the dog spot at least twice a week ! As soon as we pull in the parking lot he is so excited to go in and doesn’t want to leave! I love being able to watch him from the cameras while at work. 10/10 recommend the Dog spot !!I also use the grooming and they have always done a great job and exactly what I have asked!

It was so hard for me to find a groomer for my long haired Shepard mix with extremely high anxiety. I previously took her to a dog spa in my old city, but after trying the overpriced Farm in Franklin I saw that Layne came highly recommended by others who’s dogs needed more specific haircuts and grooming. I have been nothing but totally satisfied with Layne and my dog smells great and looks great every time. He knows what my dog needs and will give me his professional advice. We had to start fresh with a shave the first time due to matting but people even complimented her haircut as Layne made the best out of our situation. I won’t take my dog anywhere else, even for a bath.

we love the dog spot! our 2 dogs frequently go to doggy day care and have the best time! we can always count on them for a safe and comfortable boarding and daycare experience. Our dogs are always SO EXCITED to be dropped off. Cannot recommend dog spot enough for boarding, daycare, grooming, etc.The people that own and work here genuinely care for you and your pets and do everything to make your pups time there phenomenal!

I was worried when moving to Nashville about what I would do with my 80lbs lab during my work days, as I didn't have the network for watching him I did in my hometown. This place has been a godsend! I leave him here for daycare regularly when working and I can't thank the staff here enough for how well they care for him. I'm a bit of a helicopter parent with him, so finding a good, trustworthy, and safe staff to watch him is paramount. I can happily say The Dog Spot is that place!

I brought my retriever mix in for a groom and asked for a small haircut. I spoke with the male groomer about what I wanted it to look like and we agreed on a nice trim. I then picked up my completely fully SHAVED dog. I was absolutely mortified and shocked. Shaved down all the way. He clearly did not write down what we had discussed or maybe even confused dogs, idk. This will take months to grow back to looking like a retriever and not a completely shaved poodle. Horrible grooming experience.

I was very excited to try grooming at The Dog Spot West based on past reviews. I scheduled my appointment weeks in advance, knowing I would have to drive into Nashville and spend the day there waiting for grooming to be complete. 10 minutes before my appointment today, after I had already spent close to an hour driving, they called to let me know the groomer was going to be out and all they could do were baths.Apparently there was no backup groomer or other option in the day they could offer. Finding a reliable place for grooming has been a struggle in Nashville and now I am left searching again.I know things happen, but I wish this had been handled differently or that I was notified before I spent so long driving to be there. I wasn't willing to just accept baths as I can do that myself and that wasn't my purpose for scheduling and they did say they would cancel those without any charges, so I guess that's something.

I evacuated NC for Hurricane Florence. We drove to stay with family in Nashville. We found this place for our dog JJ. The service was great! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Michael Roach wouldn't let me pay our bill when we left. An act of kindness I will definitely pay forward. Thank you to The Dog Spot for taking good care of our dog and going above and beyond for our family during a stressful time. We appreciate you so much and will definitely be back.....hopefully when it's not because of a hurricane. 😊

First I want to say is this the dog spot is a wonder place to leave your dogs for daycare and boarding. Second I would like to thank chad for the help and information about the place. They have all the things I was looking for to help my fur babies when it came to bathing them. I recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a place to wash and etc. I hope the operations manager Mary Silvia reads this and give chad a raise.

My first appointment with the Dog Spot I was SO pleased. I have a mini poodle and they did the cut I wanted perfectly.My second appointment, I was sad that she had to be cut all the way down. I was told she was matted at the skin but the rest of her hair was not matted. So unfortunately she had to be cut down.I'm waiting for my 3rd appointment now. I hope i have done a better job with ensuring her hair is not matted near her skin so that I can get the long fluffy style I prefer.After my second appointment the groomer took the time to talk with me to suggest brushes/combs to help prevent any type of matting. I really appreciated her taking the time to explain that to me.

About 3 years ago, the area I live in (1,5 hours away from Nashville) got hit by a major storm and I was without electricity for over a week. Since I work in Nashville, I decided to stay in Nashville but was having trouble finding a place that will accept my Pete without extra fees. I regularly take Pete to The Dog Spot anyway, so he stayed there for several days until I have power at home. The day that I picked Pete up, I was informed that due to my circumstances, there will not be a charge for his stay. We are forever grateful for the generosity.

Giving this place the benefit of the doubt was the wrong choice and I whole heartedly regret trying out daycare/ boarding at TDS. It’s one of the cheapest places for a reason. I personally was not impressed with boarding conditions, but unfortunately my grievance is much more concerning that than. My dog on temp test day got into an altercation with another dog where a staff person kicked my dog and I saw it happen on camera. I expected a call to let me know of the incident. 20 minutes later, I called and was told that I was “just about to receive a call” to state that she had gotten into a scuffle with another dog but that all was well. I was told that she would take a break and then return to play soon. About 2 hour later I called to check in and and was told that the other dog was actually injured in the scuffle and that my dog had to stay in a crate for the remainder of the day, pertinent information that should have been shared with me on the first call. Upon arrival to pick her up as soon as I could, I asked to see video of the incident and the portion of the video where the staff person kicked the dogs had conveniently been removed. I was also told that I was not allowed to have a copy of the video, nor could I take a video of it myself. I pointed out to the staff person showing me the video that I saw the other staff person kick the dogs in real time and that it was interesting that the most problematic incident in the video had been scrubbed. The staff person I was speaking with seemed to be be fully aware that the staff misconduct had been removed from the video. We will never return and if you’ve never been here, I suggest looking elsewhere. A higher cost is worth better service. For the gross lack of communication, and irresponsible and malicious misconduct from staff, this deserves the one star for the DIY dog wash. Anything else here I would not recommend.

Overall would recommend The Dog Spot very much so! Prices are about the same as you’d get somewhere like Petsmart but prefer to go somewhere local instead of a huge chain. Standard length of service, easy to get an appointment that works with your schedule, courteous and attentive employees. My pup never seems nervous when arriving or leaving.Only constructive feedback I’d give is they typically ask if you’d like to leave a tip before you’ve seen your dog. This may be so you’re not trying to handle a hyper dog while checking out, which I appreciate, but it could be beneficial to wait until the customer sees the results or have a standard gratuity built into the service so the check out process feels smoother.Definitely worth using their grooming services to support a local business (I haven’t tried daycare/boarding personally but I’m sure it’s good too).

The Dog Spot has been so great with my doodle Theo! He is always excited when we pull up ready to play. The staff knows him by name each time I take him to daycare or boarding which is very comforting knowing he's in good hands. I've used them for baths and grooming and he always looks great. I can’t recommend this place enough. Don’t judge them by their other negative reviews. People can be cruel. They are so friendly and love having my dog in daycare and boarding. I even get my dog groomed and they always take care of her to the full extent. I was nervous about having a place for my dog to go but everyone is so welcoming. There is one person up front that was so nice and friendly to me and my dog recently, I think their name is Madi. They also know told me a lot of info about dog Nutrition, because my fur baby has had some allergy issues. I love the Dog Spot. ❤️
