We recently took our dog to Spot's Pet Supply for a DIY bath. When we arrived, Jerri greeted us and we informed her that we had just adopted our furry friend and were new to the whole dog-bathing process. She was very friendly and gave us step-by-step instructions on how to use the water and shampoo hose, as well as where to find all the necessary supplies in the DIY Wash area, including aprons, dog shampoo, nail clippers, ear wipes, towels, and a leash for the bath bin. The DIY wash cost $17.99 before tax, which we found to be quite reasonable. In addition to washing our dog, we also purchased a snack for our pup and a dental bone. Overall, we highly recommend Spot's for washing your dog, especially if you want a clean pup but don't want to deal with cleaning up fur in your bathtub.

Worst experience they injured my dog and send my dog home without telling me. PLEASE READ and be careful with your pups. On May 18, 2023, my two dogs were attended to at Spot Pet Supply. The groomer, arrived late and didn't come out to receive my dogs. I had to call her later to discuss the services. They didn't even have the decency to call me and ask how we wanted our dogs to be groomed. When my husband brought the dogs home, Martina started limping in pain and leaving bloodstains everywhere. We realized that she had a cut on her paw. I immediately went to the grooming business and asked the girl what happened. She claimed that she didn't notice anything, but it's completely untrue because she bled all over the floor of my house. I can't imagine how much she bled at the time of the cut. I quickly took her to Hillsboro Animal Hospital, where she received emergency care. After the medical intervention, I brought the receipt to the business, and the manager said they would speak to the head manager and reimburse me for the medical expenses. May 25, 2023, and I had to go to Green Hills Spot Pet Supply again to ask for a resolution to this situation. They couldn't resolve it because they were not informed about the situation, and there was no manager present. They told me to go to the East Nashville location where the manager or owner was present and could help me. I had to drive for approximately 30 minutes, but when I arrived, there was no manager or owner. I told the lady to call the manager because I need to resolve this problem. I've started to think that the owners and manager are avoiding me to avoid resolving the issue. Approximately after 5 weeks and me calling every week and fighting through emails they finally pay the veterinary bill. Be careful with your pups! They are irresponsible !!

Really disappointed in the quality of customer service here. We’ve been going for a while and have spend a lot of money here. A few months ago We finally bought enough dog food to earn a free bag. The cashier (also manager) argued with us and said we already received it. We had not. Not sure why we would spend hundreds of dollars on nice dog food to try to steal one bag. We chalked it up to a bad experience but continued to go there and try to give it another try because every other time had been friendly. The last few times we’ve been in for nail trimmings they did not do a good job. And the staff is not friendly anymore when we come in. We really tried to like this place but unfortunately will have to go to another pet store. I typically do not write negative reviews but I’m so disappointed in the staff and service at spots.

This place is fabulous! It’s easy to park, the staff are super helpful and very friendly. You get that small town feel where people ask how you’re doing instead of giving you the canned “Can I help you?” The product selection is great. Healthy brands and a large variety of products to choose from. Prices are fair as well. AND they offer grooming services. A win all the way around in my book.

I took my dog there to be groomed. On the phone they quoted me one price but when I went to pay they mentioned a doodle fee. I explained that no one told me about a doodle. The worker stated that someone or the owner would call me. Never received that call. I also had shown a picture as how I wanted my dog groomed. It was not how I wanted at all. It was so bad that I asked the worker that was at check out if the groomer was new at grooming. The worker once again stated that the owner would give me a call and I have yet to hear from anyone at that shop. I know pet smart Is expensive but I usually get good quality work. I will never go back there for nothing. Period!

Came to Nashville to visit with family for thanksgiving. Had two golden retrievers that desperately needed a bath. Called first thing and they had open stalls. I drive a tesla and they had charging stations available for customers right at the building! The staff was ultra friendly and even came out and move their car so I could charge. Super nice, locally owned store and the owners came out to greet us and meet the dogs. Even shared contact information and they told us we could charge anytime just shoot them a text. Absolutely fantastic experience and a superb small business! Highly recommend for your pets!

I bring my dog, Milly, to Spot’s frequently for grooming. She typically sees Michelle who does a great job. When I arrived for Milly’s appointment today I was informed michelle was out sick until next week and someone should have called me to cancel. One of the other groomers agreed to take Milly which I was very thankful for. I told the groomer I wanted Milly shorter but still fluffy and when I picked her up all that was written on the grooming sheet was “short” . She was the last dog of the day so I believe they were rushing to get her done and it shows. You can see the clipper tracks all over her body and she has a very large bald spot running the length of her front leg.

Disappointing is really all I have to say. This is the second time we’ve been to the East location (after a not so great experience at Green Hills). The first groomer was a woman but I forgot her name. She did a great job but was not very personable. Today, Daniel groomed my dog and it’s pretty bad. It is suuuuper choppy and uneven. We got home and I was rubbing his ears and they STILL HAVE MATTS. I paid $150 (part was a tip) and the job wasn’t even complete. Not returning.

I usually use Dog spot west Nashville where I have nothing but great service! Today at dog spot East I picked up my lovely pup and wasn’t happy. I will not say the groomer name because I will not bash anyone .. but my baby look hideous. Make sure you have an experienced groomer my baby is super patchy I don’t think I will return I’ll wait until I can get a spot at the west location ! A waste of $90 😫 he had to know this wasn’t a great job

Disappointed overall with my experience here. This is our second attempt with Spots. The first time we dropped off our dog for a bath, we waited several hours just to get a call that the person who was supposed to give Pippin a bath had called out that day, and they couldn’t get us in. We decided to reschedule and try again. The second time (today) I got Pippin home and realized his paw was bleeding, and they had trimmed his nails too close to the quick. I understand sometimes this happens even with the best groomers, but I’m disappointed no one informed us that it had happened, as I’m sure it caused our pup a decent amount of pain. I’m not sure that we’ll be using Spots again.

We’ve been going here for 3 years. Very knowledgeable staff that will bulk order food for our pups. The ownership came out to do a meet and greet and were very nice guys - gave our big pup a toy.We keep coming back to Michele for grooming as she does a fantastic job and you can tell she really cares about the pets in her care. Highly recommended…

Deeply cut my dogs ear in November and did not tell me. It took 6 months to heal. We had just moved to the area and should’ve looked deeper into reviews. Do not groom your dog here!

Not worth $20. In the DIY bath area, 2 bays were out of order. The other2 were flithy- tub full of hair, tools full of hair, not enough towels,empty bottles. I don't think the sprayer was pulling soap out of the large containers because I could never get any suds. When I mentioned something to the clerk at checkout, he didn't seem phased at all.We've been several times but this was the worst. Won't be back.

I have been coming here for nearly 3 years - but ever since Michelle left it's basically $150 for a glorified blow out. The groomers aren't willing to actually cut our Aussie's fur for fear of the notorious "second coat" (we're aware of the second coat - homie still needs a haircut!).. as a result services are overpriced and underdelivered. I'm in need of a new groomer if anyone has one!

if i could leave 0 star rating I would!!!!! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST place to take your animal to get groomed! They barely have groomers and do not call or inform you if your appt have been canceled due to them not having a groomer avaliable!!!! I would NOT recommend to anybody. Your better off doing it at home or finding another groomer!!!!

I have taken my dog to the Spots in east for the self bath service a few times now. A little noisy with another dryer running during my dogs bath but overall nice place for a self service bath. The first time we went was the first nice day of spring and we went in the afternoon, the water was cold. Let the front guy know and he was very apologetic and mentioned the baths had been running non stop all day and gave me a free coupon for my next bath as an apology and would let owners know the rest of the day. Next few times the water was hot and able to adjust for my dog. I bring my own shampoo because my dog is a little sensitive but the water pressure with the rinse was great for her coat. I like that its a flat rate for any size dog. Store has good selection of toys, brushes, etc and bought my dog a bone after her bath that she loves! Will continue to bring my dog for baths

Maggie loved her bath at Spot’s. The tubs were awesome, great water, loved the plum soap and the hair dryer worked very well. 5 Stars!
