Parker’s Paws has taken such great care of my cat Tom- I switched over from another vet a couple years ago after reading all the positive reviews and wanting the best for my cat. I’ve been so happy with them- they are great at his annual visits and it's clear the vet techs and vets love animals so much. They treat my cat like he's their own (and he loves people). When I've had to bring him in for problem visits (a URI), they were informative and reassuring. I'm a super anxious pet parent- I call with every little concern, and everyone from the receptionists to the medical staff are always patient and more than happy to answer questions. The vets call back quickly, even when they are swamped, which I so appreciate!! Thank you for helping me keep my fur baby healthy!

I’ve been taking my dog, Luca, to PPAH for a little over 2 years now, and I could NEVER imagine him going anywhere else. We have been multiple times for preventative care visits as well as sick visits and are never disappointed.First, their communication is unmatched. They respond to emails during business hours typically within an hour. I try to avoid calling unless it’s time sensitive and when I do, they always answer quickly and are happy to help.Next, they have worked Luca in on short notice every single time he has been sick or that I’ve had a concern. I’ve even had to reschedule multiple times due to my work schedule and they work with me every time and never make me feel bad bad about it.Every single staff member I have encountered has been EXTREMELY kind and informative. Just this week, I spoke with Dr. Hooper, who is very knowledgeable and answered my many questions, making me feel at ease about making a decision regarding Luca’s care. I also encountered Star, who ensured ALL of my concerns were addressed regarding Luca’s issues as well as costs of the decision I was making. I wish I could remember everyone’s name but like I said, I have been so many times and have never encountered anyone less than kind, informative, and patient.I recommend Parker’s Paws to anyone looking for a vet that provides safe, loving, thorough care for their animal(s). :)

I’m writing a novel, but the TLDR is that Parker’s paws is the best veterinary hospital in the city, and I can’t imagine taking our pup anywhere else. Now, for my novel…The entire staff at Parker’s Paws is absolutely amazing (truly, every single person), especially Dr. K and Dr. C, who have taken amazing care of our Theo boy during scary bouts of aspiration pneumonia and his most recent lymphoma diagnosis. We had been burned by a former vet that misdiagnosed our boy a few years back almost resulting in him passing, and we did thorough research and asked trusted friends in the area who we should go to instead. SO many people mentioned Parker’s Paws, and the moment we came, we felt at such peace with the expertise, passion and kindness everyone had.Our precious Theo got diagnosed with lymphoma recently, and our world felt like it was ending. Throughout this, they encouraged our intuitions (our dog was showing very minimal signs), went the extra mile to offer referrals and treatment plans, and would text and call us to check in and help us not feel alone during so much grief and overwhelm. They’ve worked late to help answer our questions, they’ve researched supplements we’ve sent to them, and they’ve shown us care beyond measure. Knowing that we have the best team while our boy battles cancer has brought us so much gratitude. They have given us 100% unconditional guarantee that their focus is theo’s quality of life and that they will work to make sure he has the very best. We’ve shed so many tears, but we haven’t felt alone in the slightest amidst all of this, feeling all the confidence in the world that we have the most intelligent, expert team walking into this with us.“A good vet takes care of your pet when they are healthy, but a great vet takes care of them when they are sick.”

Parkers Paws is the best vet in Nashville, and I cannot express how grateful I am to have found them when I did. They genuinely care about you and your loved one. Thank you for everything you did for him, especially Dr. C and the staff who went above and beyond during his last few days!!

The entire staff at Parker's Paws is amazing! I could not recommend them more. We have been bringing our 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to Dr K and her team for over 4 years now. We had an emergency situation recently with our oldest dog, and Dr K and her team navigated us through the entire process and were extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough from start to finish. They truly go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!

Took my cat for a first visit here to establish a primary vet and Parker’s Paws exceeded my expectations. Dr. Fountain was very kind and gentle with my cat, and was very informative and patient with the multitude of questions we had. Highly recommend!

I cant imagine finding better care than what we've found at Parkers Paws. Dr K's expertise allowed her to diagnose and treat my senior westie's serious health condition with compassion. In addition, she and her staff have been caring for my other westie since she was a pup. They are always professional and friendly. Thank you Parkers Paws. We hope to find a practice like yours in PA..

My vet, Dr. Harris, retired last year so I had to find a new vet for my cats. The first place I tried did not work out so well so I am very pleased to have found this place with such a great, caring, & knowledgeable staff. They have helped me with one cat's teeth issues and the other's old age. Both my cats are now happier and healthier for it.

Can't say enough about how great this place is! We moved to the area with two old cats and two older dogs that all had various complex health issues, and they have cared for all of them with thoughtfulness and compassion at every step! Very grateful to have found this clinic and would recommend it to anyone looking for a vet!

I started taking my dog to Parker’s when I moved to Nashville. He’s ten years old, but still has a lot of life left in him. I’ve had his teeth cleaned several times, including right before moving two years ago. Pro-tip, you don’t have to pay $500 plus to get your dog’s teeth cleaned, just go to rural town outside of the city. Anyway, he has had two annual appointments by this point, and I just can’t get over how I get pushed and even forced to purchase unnecessary things every time I’m there. He just had his second annual less than two months ago, but unfortunately his ear was bothering him and I decided to take him in. The vet insisted on doing another full evaluation on him, even though I told her that he just had a full evaluation less than two months ago. She didn’t give me an option, and just jumped right in to examining him, and telling me things I already knew from the last appointment I had. I guess I should have just told her I wouldn’t pay for a full evaluation and to just address the ear, though unlike this vet, I do have respect for others. When I made the appointment, I let them know “possible ear infection.” She immediately went into this whole diatribe about how dogs don’t get ear infections and did her best to make me feel like an inadequate human being (yet she wrote ear infection on the eval?). She legitimately spoke to me like I was five years old. All I thought was “well, you are the vet, after all.” She then proceeded to tell me how horrible shape his teeth were in and that I really needed to get them cleaned in the next year. Again, this was two months after his last annual in which they told me his teeth were looking pretty good and no immediate concerns. Back to the ear problem I came in for. She basically gave me an option between an actual medicine and a wash… “but he probably just needs his food changed?” Well, which is it? Why are you giving me options all of a sudden? I know his ear is a problem, what is the best solution? Nobody really knows. But she charged me for a full evaluation, a test to confirm it was a yeast infection, and some ear wash I’m supposed to use every couple of days that I probably could have bought at a local pet store. But thank god I got an estimate to get his teeth cleaned. Another pro-tip to anyone reading this, you can get your pets medicine from Costco for much cheaper, but this vet does require you to get in for a written script and you’ll probably have to argue with them for a bit before they’ll finally give in and write you one to take elsewhere. Oh, And if you do want allergy meds for your senior dog, they also require you do some “senior” dog tests first that’s somewhere around $250-$300. Overall, there have been little things here and there, but this last visit really was the cherry on top for me. I let it sit for a couple of days, but I really just can’t get over it and feel others should know of my experiences here before choosing this clinic. Or maybe just avoid DVM Sloan. Until this week, I was fine to get past all of the other issues I’ve had.

They are easy to work with, and do everything they can to meet your pet when they need help. Their prices are reasonable and only charge for services that are necessary. We tried them once and now take all our pets here!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. K and her team. Out of all the veterinarians I have been to over the years, Dr. K and her team are the most caring, competent, capable, and genuine ones out there.

The veterinarian and support staff were very helpful and friendly. They were also running on schedule so I didn't have to wait long until someone came out to my car and walked me and my cat into the office.

Caring, attentive, and affordable vet. A friend recommended Parker’s Paws to us and we’ve been grateful to find them. We’ve had a couple of scary things come up with our girl, and they’ve been super helpful and squeezed us in last minute both times. The place is clean and the staff is nice. No complaints.

I could not possibly be more thrilled with the vets and vet techs at Parkers Paws! They are so loving and patient with my puggles, and are extremely accommodating. I recently had my highly anxious, senior dog in for a dental surgery and they made sure to keep her with me while they waited for results of blood work and what not during her pre-op, texted me updates during her surgery, and took excellent care of her during the surgery itself. They also gave me a very reasonable quote for this procedure, and ended up charging me LESS than I was quoted. Never have I EVER had a vet procedure come in under the estimate. I am extremely thankful to have found a vet that is reasonable priced, truly care about their patients, and give owners a voice and say. I have full confidence in all of the doctors at Parkers Paws and could not recommend them more 🐾🐾🐾

I am extremely impressed, and thankful, for the 60+ minutes Dr. Fountain spent with us today. I cannot thank her enough for taking the time to review my dogs labs before we showed up, walking me through her assessment, doing a thorough checkup, and answering all my questions. It really felt like she and her team cared. I feel lucky to have found Parker’s Paws for Chloe’s future care as an older pup!

Dr. Klapheke and her staff are the best! They have always been friendly, accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely express concern for your pets. I don't ever feel like they're trying to rush me out or are dismissive with any of my concerns. The whole team, including Dr. K, listen attentively and are thorough in their evaluations and analysis. It's worth me driving 30 minutes each way to get there, because I feel 100% confident in them. Their prices are also reasonable. I seldom leave reviews, but because of my love for my dogs and how great I feel about Parker's Paws, I'm gladly taking a few minutes out to show my appreciation and hope to provide helpful advice if you (yes, you) are trying to decide on a vet. Look no further!

Parker's Paws is, without question, the finest Veterinary practice I have had the pleasure of taking my furry friends to. They truly care about animals in a way I've never experienced before.I have two special needs tripod cats that were born without parts of their rear legs, and the staff treats them so wonderfully that they both feel at total ease in their care. When one of my cats developed a urinary blockage, they immediately jumped into action and undoubtably saved his young life.If you love your pets, this is the practice to go to for the absolute best care there is.Thank you Parker's Paws for all you do!

We moved to Nashville almost 3 years ago from Franklin and was still going to our old vet because we were so comfortable with them. However, I am a pet sitter/dog walker and I had been to Parker’s Paws numerous times with other people’s pets. About 2 months ago I rescued a stray cat and brought him to Parker’s Paws for treatment. They were wonderful with him, from keeping him all day while I went to work to squeezing me in at the last minute when I showed up at their door. Fast forward to a few days ago and our own kitty was sick. I immediately thought of Parker’s Paws because they are local. We rushed her in there yesterday just before closing and the vet said she would stay late to see us. We have been so incredibly impressed with all of the vets we have seen (Dr. Hooper for the stray, Drs. Spence and Cremerius for our girl) and also with the office staff and vet techs. Their accommodating nature and their ability to make all animals feel so special and cared for is wonderful. They are great communicators as well! We will definitely be going back with all of our cats for all of our veterinary needs.

New to Nashville, this was the first vet I tried and I need not look any further! The exam fee is incredibly reasonable (I think $65, I don’t 100% remember), and they break down all the services and prices in the exam room before they do anything so there are no surprises when you go to pay. I had concerns about being able to pay for everything and they went through the list and told me what was the most necessary and what I could save for a later time. Dr. Hooper was very patient and willing to answer any questions I had. She went over services and meds a couple times until I felt like I fully understood everything. I didn’t feel rushed at all which is really important for me. When you arrive, you wait in your car until there is an exam room available and an employee comes to your car and walks you right from your car to the exam room. You and your pet don’t sit in a waiting room with other pets if that’s a concern for you. Finally and most importantly, everyone was so caring, loving, and gentle with my dog. She had to have blood drawn and one of the techs held her and petted her the entire time. I could tell even by the way they all looked at my dog that they are in this field because they really do love animals. It gave me such a peace of mind and I know she was in great hands the whole time. They did everything in the exam room so I was able to see it all, which is different from some vet offices I’ve been to where they take the dog “to the back” to give shots, etc. Bonus points because it’s across from Raising Canes! I highly recommend this vet office!

My dog Stella (pictured here — how cute is she?!?) was my first daughter — and at my first visit to Parker's Paws, Dr. K and her amazing team treated Stella like she was THEIR first daughter too! Everyone was gentle and informative, explaining every they were doing, recommending treatment options and then allowing me to make the decisions based on their explanation. There was not once ounce of an up-sell — refreshing! What's more, Dr. K said that based on Stella's teeth, she would estimate her age to be about three years younger than what we were guesstimated age was when we got her from the shelter. I basically feel like I just won the lottery — the prize is three more years with my sweet girl. These people's work is their passion — not just a job. I can't recommend Parker's Paws highly enough!

to Nashville? Look no further. It’s hard to find a new vet, and your fur baby cannot tell you how a visit went or how they feel post visit. My pug and I recently moved here to Nashville from Fort Lauderdale FL where she had the best vet. Not knowing anyone to recommend or steer me clear, I ended up taking her to Belmont Animal Hospital located next door to the daycare for her semi annual exam and shots. Flash forward to this past Wednesday, 7months later when I took her back for an assumed ear infection. Her left ear was infected. They took her out of the room to “treat her” not telling me how or to let me know of any possible side effects. The next day my dog could not hear out of either ear. I was panicked beyond belief not at all being prepared to have a deaf dog. It was heartbreaking. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together until after business hours on Friday so I sent a text to Belmont (that was the one positive about them) to let them know of my concern and to please have the dr call me upon reopening Monday morning. Thank goodness for my dental appt at this morning-prior to me hearing from the Belmont doctor. My hygienist called her fur babies’ vet, Parker’s Paws💕 whom I would give way more than 5stars to now that I am calm and able to type. She put me on the phone with them, and they squeezed us in same day. They already had all her medical records upon our arrival. Dr. Spence was awesome. She did a basic hearing test and it was evident that my pug could not hear out of either ear. It was not clear whether Belmont “treated” both ears on Wednesday but Dr. Spence flushed out both in case to rid any of that ‘Poison’ that caused my baby to go deaf. Needless to say, hence this review, my dog can hear and I am so grateful!! We have our official family vet going forward and to make it even better the cost was very reasonable.

I am very pleased with the whole team, thanks in particular to Dr. Epstein and Eric for making such a difficult moment something special, for making me understand that our pets are borrowed and that they are in this world to make us happy a moment! My moment was almost 16 years and I am grateful for it ... Thank you very much everyone! Deeply Grateful! Nico is now in the rainbow ... And I'm still here thinking and missing him!

I cannot put into words how amazing Parker's Paws has been to me and my dog. They truly make us feel like we are part of a family there. My dog has complex medical needs and they achieve the perfect balance of making sure he gets the care he needs without pushing aggressively expensive or unnecessary treatments. It is clear that they truly just care about his happiness and wellbeing, not making money. They have gone above and beyond explaining his conditions and walking through treatments. Everyone from the techs to the vets are kind, patient, and loving. 10/10 would recommend.

I don’t think there are enough positive words of praise to do this veterinarian justice! The staff and doctors are incredibly informative, kind and patient. I am so happy that Dr. K and her team came recommended to us after moving here from out of state. They always take such amazing care of our dog and we are so thankful for them!
