First, I feel it's important to note. I have been going to this Kroger for the past 2 years. It's not far from work, so I leave to get a break and pick up a pre-made deli sandwich for 3.99.Today, like any other day, I went to get a sandwich. They were out of turkey, so I got roast beef. I made it back to work, was going to add mustard, and noticed the meat had a strange iridescent haze, which made me suspicious , so i started to scrutinize the look and smell. Then i saw a bug. I didn't perform a full autopsy, so the type is not completely known, but it looked like a roach. I took the sandwich back and got my 4 dollars. That's not really the issue.How many bugs have I eaten in the past on these sandwiches unknowingly?The people in the deli usually have some weird attitude when they notice customers, so the fact they would serve tainted doesn't totally surprise me and for 3.99, I could tough out a little tummy ache from a few day old meat.The fact that there was (what I believe to be) a roach in the sandwich, makes my stomach turn.Kroger won't likely feel the impact of my missed business, but I'll never go back for anything but the US Bank thats inside.If you get something from the deli, beware, check the date, give it the sniff test and check for bugs.The photos don't do justice for the color, it looked like a chameleon paint job or oil slick on the roast beef.Happy shopping.

This is my home store and I usually have mixed experiences here. Today cut the cake when they only had two lines open, including self checkout. They are replacing the self checkout machines. The checkout line was to the back of the store. I understand maintenance is needed to the store. But if I wanted to shop at two lane Walmart I would have went there. Literally only one employee was checking people out in line, and I feel sorry for that guy. I've seen three employees since I've been here (at least 45 minutes). There was barely any employees working the store at 6:30 pm on a Wednesday. Waiting in line for thirty minutes to check out three items on my way home from work is totally unacceptable. Come on Kroger, you can do better. (The light that was lit on lane three was closed š¤·) edited to say: the employees who are working are always nice and helpful. But dang, I know you can do better Kroger!

Never again will I shop here. Close it down, clear it out, and start over. Dingy lighting, carts with broken wheels, departments with no one working in them, coupons that donāt scan, self check out machines that donāt work, staff that isnāt trained, greeted by an armed guard, seafood just sitting out uncovered, only one open lane with an actual cashierā¦ā¦.I could go on. Iām not even one to leave reviews on things but this place seems to be barely functioning. Get your āā together Kroger!!!

I donāt wanna be a Karen so I wonāt. The produce department is well organized and the manager is super knowledgeable. She saved my experience at this Kroger. The same cannot be said for the meat department. I thought Iād only be disappointed at home with the meat selection, but I was mistaken. I will go back for the produce but not the meats. Itās definitely not Arbyās. They do not have the meats.

Pretty okay to get food but they need to get rid of the mold on the ceiling tiles in the back of the store. That should be a health hazard, especially near the meat section.

Placed pick up order told to come pick up on ap. Some kid comes to my car and tells me to cancel the order he hasn't even picked any of these orders parked out here! Can't reach anyone regarding refund! Do NOT waste your time or money!

The store shelves were empty. They had nothing from their sale ad to purchase. The checkout is always a joke. The only cashier was doing her best, but the line was at least 25 deep. One section of self check they closed after myself & 2 other people had waited 15 minutes. The 2nd section of self check out was lined up like the other. I once loved going to this store, but going forward, I'm going to buy everything at Aldi across the street. Aldi is a great store!

This store has had problems for a long time .I come here always expecting the worst .Today I had a confertation with a grocery stocker that tried running me down with his stock .Beware when you come here expect anything .

I parked in front of Jersey Mikeās because I was getting a sandwich. Then I walked over to Kroger to do some light grocery shopping. There was almost no lunch meat in the deli. There was moldy cheese. When I tried to walk with a cart back to my car, the wheels locked up and I did not understand. Cart attendant came along and let me know that I was not allowed to take the cart out of boundary of the parking lot. I was apparently just on the other side of the line. The cart attendant had a real attitude acting like I should know about this because Itās been in place for several years. I donāt shop this Kroger location very much and probably will never do so again. Even before this experience, this is got to be one of the worst Krogerās in the area.

Went to buy my groceries, had over $300 worth and was told krogers is moving to be more self scan and doesn't open registers until after 2:00. So I had to scan $300 worth of groceries through the self scanner so kroger could save a buck on labor.. kind of ridiculous

This location is ok. I definitely recommend checking your receipts. Unfortunately, the cashiers will not give your loyalty rewards when attempting to use them or they won't charge for certain items and random items will charged that are not even in your cart. I'm not sure if its because the cashier may be busy but KEEP TRACK and double check your items once you get home. Something just isnt right

Showed up 8 minutes before close because my sibling had SECOND DEGREE BURNS and needed medical supplies, and was told the store is closed. This is absolutely unacceptable, as you all are supposed to be open until 10. Ridiculous.

I have been shopping here for years. This store has a lot of challenges being close to a high crime area. I have seen the long-time employees in just about every situation imaginable and, especially over past few months, I have gained a lot of appreciation for the consistency and friendliness with which these people perform their jobs. one of the security guards was very openly saying the N word whilst talking to another security guard, both white. The guy was trying to get into a car that I'll assume is his, but either way, he was super aggressive, and I'm assuming him and this woman were arguing about something. Dont think he realized there was a black person in the car less than 6 inches away from him, but then again, the windows are tinted. I don't expect something to be done about this guy, but I just thought it'd be good information for the people of color that may wanna know about what kind of employees are hired here. I personally thought it was funny, but it may not be too funny to someone that's equally aggressive as this random bald security guard. lol

Consistently out of nearly 1/3 of the skus on every shelf and the last regular checkout closed on me as I rolled up during a busy Sunday evening. Probably saw like 3-4 associates in the whole store.This place only gets two stars because I know firsthand how hard the low level associates and assistant managers work with this company's skeleton-style scheduling and I'm assuming (still) poor pay.Shopping here is starting to make me feel like one of those god-awful customers I would run into in my early 20s. And now I know why: corporate mismanagement leaving store clerks without enough resources to make it function like a grocery store.I don't often make Google reviews but you'll know it's something super annoying when I do.

I placed a pickup order to be ready between 11am-12pm. I got a call earlier before that time from a lady stating it would be ready closer to 2:00pm. Okay, cool no problem. I get here at 2:05, and say āIām hereā in the app. A black woman, (no mask) comes outside. She speaks with another customer first, and then she comes to me amd asks if my name is ācliffon or cliftonā I say no. She goes back inside. I wait for 20 minutes wnd still nobody arrives. I see the woman come outside for a smoke break. I call, and I hear laughing, it was the same woman. I tell her Iāve been waiting and she states āI thought I told you itās not readyā. I start explaining my situation and she cuts me off and says āwell your order isnāt readyā. I say ācan I speak with a manager pleaseā she says āokā and then hangs up. Iām still sitting here at 12:36pm in parking spot 1, still NO MANAGER. This is ridiculous, I have two babies, I cannot keep driving back and forth. They are unprofessional!!

This Kroger needs new management. The store is so dirty no matter the day or time. No one is ever in the bakery and all the bake goods are old and out of date. It is hard to go down through isles because the workers take up most of the space and will not get out of the way. This store is not worth going too. The cashiers and workers are rude.

Register system was down. So they instead of trying a proper process they try to circumvent some crazy way and lock up my bank card. Nice. ...smh...couldn even get my items. So instead of spending money in Kroger now I'll spend it in Publix....cleaner stores anyway..... nothing's changed.

I really wanted to give a 1 star but I do love Kroger, but unfortunately I CANNOT love this store! It is literally down the street from me, which is lovely. But I will NEVER stop in this store again to grocery shop, not even to get a few things!!! Why?? Bc it is a complete a Waste of my time!! Not one time have I yet gone into this particular store and they have what I need! Rather if it's for dinner I am preparing or lunches and snacks for my grandkidsand not forget the sweet tooth I also get. It's either they don't have the brands I'm looking for or if they carry that brand they will not carry a certain variety of it.. like Folgers they carry it but dont carry the Columbian...? I've checked the last 2-3 weeks thinking maybe they're just out of certain things. But now I travel either to another store or another Kroger. SMH š not only exhausting but irritating

I was unloading the cart and this guy just stands there huffing and puffing like heās mad but he didnāt say a word. As soon as I was done he said āstop parking not in our parking lotā and I said āIāll park wherever I want but whatās your name?ā And he just walked away shouting ānot our parking lot!ā Very uncalled for. He was the rudest and shouldnāt be treating customers that way.

Would have left 0 stars if I could. Last Kroger experience at this location today. Management needs a makeover apparently. The first time I placed a mobile order at this location, I received a notification at pickup time that my order was not ready and they would let me know when it was. The whole reasoning for scheduling pick up revolves around a quick pickup at a time that is convenient for the customer. I cancelled my order and got my own groceries which is no big deal. I placed another one, for the sake of convenience. I received a notification before pickup time that it was ready. I sent my husband to pickup. He was there for 30 minutes and no one came. He finally went inside. They had one woman working the entire pickup. We are very understanding of the short staffing issue that is affecting everyone everywhere, but we find that management needs to take this into consideration. It is not logical to give one employee the responsibility of fulfilling and delivering all the pickup orders. The manager should not have pushed this employee to tell us it was ready when in fact it was not. I do not know how the managers of this store expect to get anything done if they are continuing to offer services their store capacity is not capable of fulfilling.

This store... I don't know if it's the management or lack of staffing but something is very very wrong. The store is always dirty, aisles are often blocked with merchandise randomly like they stopped stocking an area and gave up, but the worst has to be the pharmacy. I had a prescription sent in electronically twice and twice by phone, received 2 text messages that it was ready, on two different days, made the trip to the store twice, on two different days, and they claim they didn't have anything for me, three times. I went to the doctor and they showed me the the successful submissions for the electronic sends, and called while I was there for the 2nd verbal, still nothing from the pharmacy. That's not even to mention when you do go they are obviously always short staffed. I won't blame the pharmacists or techs (I am one) but standing in line of 2 people for 15-20 minutes to attempt to pickup a prescription they haven't filled after 2 FULL WEEKS, is simply unacceptable. I'm super patient having worked in healthcare almost my entire life but this is bad. The pharmacy I worked in could process 300-400 prescriptions per day with one pharmacist and tech, this location seems to struggle with 2 or 3 pharmacists and 3 or 4 techs. I'm sure they're working more than 400 a day BUT 2 weeks and I still don't have the prescription I was meant to start 2 weeks ago? That's not okay, at all.Just wanted to add a final chapter to this novel. I decided to try again with Kroger in Lavergne, the pharmacist was pleasant, asked questions, listened to my story, and I was in and out in 5 minutes for something the Nashboro store couldn't do in a month of runaround and refusing to run my insurance.

My experience here has not been too bad. The only problem is that the employees have been relentlessly watching me during the time I've been coming in here. I've been a very loyal and steadfast shopper of the store since around 2005. I really don't know what these people think they're going to see. I don't do anything different than anybody else. I go into the store, do my shopping, check out, and leave. I leave my bag at the service desk (or another spot if itās closed) every day. People like to do indirect watching here. For example, on a number of occasions, when I'm at the automated checkout, the manager, Edward, will conveniently hang around the area. He'll talk to a customer or do something else. When I'm done scanning all my items and paying for them,, he conveniently leaves at the same time. This is just one example. Another example, which happens on many occasions, is when I'll be shopping and I'll be walking past a set of double doors which leads to their stockroom. Very conveniently, an employee will often walk toward that stockroom at the same time as I am crossing it. Or, someone will conveniently come out of those stockroom doors at the same time I walk by it. It's like they're giving me a subtle message that I am being scrutinized and monitored. I just find this very rude and insulting. Imagine having to deal with this for a 17 year period. on and off. You would think people would laud customers that are loyal and consistent. So much for "Kroger rewards" for being a loyal customer.
