I cannot recommend Hollywood Feed (formerly PetPeople) on 8th enough! They always greet me—WITH MY NAME and my pup’s name if she is with me…and asking where she is if my pup isn’t!They are so knowledgeable of their products and nutritional needs of our furry friends.Their return policy is so customer and pup friendly and I love how they donate to shelters/organizations in need ❤️I love this team like family! Adopted this little guy recently. Never owned a cat before so I was a little worried about what I’d need to get, but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful getting me what I needed. All the products I bought were high-quality and I’ve had no issues so far. The return policy is also very generous—I had to get a larger carrier and it was no issue to return and buy a new one. Will definitely be returning.

I’ve been pretty loyal to this place for specialty pet things but I won’t be coming here anymore as someone who exclusively gets paid in cash. I came in this morning to buy two things for a total of $42. They couldn’t break it and I didn’t have time to go get change and immediately come back, so I left and came back about an hour later after spending some cash on other errands. I said that I would like to only get one of my items because I knew I was a bit short of $42 on small bills now. My new total was $38 and change and I had $37 so I had to leave because they still couldn’t break a $100 bill. The store not being able to break a $100 bill for $42 is ridiculous to me in the first place let alone coming back later and still not having any money to break one. If you don’t take big bills, put up a sign instead of wasting peoples time.

Amazing service and fantastic selection. I visit the Melrose location weekly to pick up food for my dog. The team is so personable and knowledge on everything from food to toys to supplements. They are all rock stars!My dog, Otis, love visiting everyone there too. It’s fun to go in and have everyone remember him and say hello.We also use the sled service dog wash. It’s a life saver and so well-equipped too.Honestly, we get just about everything we need at this location. The selection is great, but it’s the people why we keep going back.

Great place! The staff is always great and super welcoming. Today I brought my dog to use the bathing station (which is excellent by the way) and the guy working went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. The bathing area is always clean and tidy before use! They always have his favorite peanut butter bone treats too! 10/10!

Love the dog wash stations(wish your White Bridge Road location had them) . My dog doesn’t love the bath but she loves knowing she gets a treat after when we are checking out. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff! Madi is the best and checked in on us throughout our bath and shopping experience.

Thanks to Lizzie at 8th! You saved the day! We needed a comfy dog collar and other supplies after our Suzie's surgery. The Comfurt Collar is it! It's like her new favorite pillow and keeps her from scratching her neck. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable of products, and so helpful. Quality products at a lesser cost than anywhere. The chew toys are the best!

It was a great experience. I was able to call before arriving to see if they dog washing stations were available. This is a first come, first serve service. The people in the store usually have a good feel for availability. They had one station that was cleaned and prepped.They have everything you need to get your pup clean.

Customer service at its finest. Stopped in on Tuesday to see if they had a specific kind of cat food that another location carries but was out. They did not at the time but said he would order some. Well he just called us to let us know he had received a new shipment and has it in stock. He did not say he would nor did I ask him to. He went above and beyond to remember us and then to call us. Impressive!!!!! I wish I remembered his name, but I believe he is the Manager. He earned a loyal customer and I will drive a little out of my way to support him. Thank you!!!

Great place to take your pup for a bath. Their self wash stations are fully stocked with multiple types of shampoo and tons of towels. The people here are super friendly and you can tell that they all love animals. Would recommend this store to anyone and everyone.
