If I could give less than one star, I would. I took my young cat here to be spayed. I told her I thought that my kitty may be going into heat and asked if it was OK. McPherson herself told me yes, she could do the surgery. When I picked up my kitty later that day, her carrier was full of urine. I got her home, and within moments of removing her from the carrier, she was bleeding. A good-sized puddle appeared on the floor underneath her, and she had just been sitting still. As the office was already closed, I rushed my kitty to VEG. She had internal bleeding and was in obvious pain. They took care of her and got the bleeding to stop internally and externally. I paid $500 to McPherson to fix and chip my cat, and ended up having to take her to VEG 4 times within a week because of all of the damage McPherson did. It has been a nightmare. I contacted her through email and didn't even get an apology for what was done to my cat. She's obviously just another animal to walk through her door, but to me, my cat is family. I recommend anyone BUT her. She couldn't care less about the animals she treats or their humans. I could go on and on about our experience, but the bottom line is don't go to her! She never explained anything about the procedure or why my cat was butchered or that she had an incision almost as long as her entire abdomen! I've had animals my entire life and have never seen anything like this! I should have waited to go to my regular vet.She cut my poor cat from stem to stern. The emergency vet took pity on us and our situation and only charged for 1 of our 4 visits. It was ridiculous what was done to my girl, and the vet obviously has no remorse. Contacting me would have been the reasonable thing to do after I had emailed her as I was far too angry and upset to call her office, but I haven't heard a word back at all. Not a peep. Never, ever will I go back, and I will warn everyone I know not to go here!At the very least, I am owed an apology. This was a horrific experience, to say the least!I certainly hope that my picture uploads. It needs to be seen.Apparently, the picture is too graphic, and Google will not allow it. That's how bad it was.

My dog and I love Dr. McPherson! I have a dog who is very shy and nervous. Instead of putting him on the table, when she comes in the room, she gets down on the floor and interacts with him on his level before doing anything to him on the table. While he is still nervous (because that is who he is) this at least gives him a chance to warm up to her.My dog has been a patient of Dr. McPherson for almost 7 years now. Dr. McPherson has always been very compassionate in her care of my dog. She has always gone above and beyond in her care.My dog became critically ill very suddenly a few years ago. Any time anything pops up that is concerning, the office is able to get me in within a timely manner to have it checked out.Dr. McPherson takes time with me as I make decisions for my dog. She is very patient with me and takes time to answer my questions and explain anything that I don’t understand. She is one of the best animal advocates I’ve ever seen. In addition, to all of this, she is very affordable. I highly recommend Dr. McPherson! She is the best!

Dr. Kathryn is an amazing, compassionate and knowledgeable vet. She gets you in to see her when your pet is sick. She doesn’t tell you all appointments are books. She truly cares about you and your pets.When she believes your pet needs to see a specialist, she sends you. She sent us to a dermatologist for allergy testing and it’s had been an amazing experience for my bulldog.. No other vet told me about the dermatologist!Many times Dr. Kathryn answers the phone when I call! We’ve seen a lot of vet being 25 year English bulldog owners, and we are most impressed with Dr. Kathryn! We highly recommend her down to earth approach and expertise.

Dr. McPherson is a caring and compassionate vet. My older lab had a traumatic experience with another vet and was terrified of the vets office. She has worked with him and he loves her! She has done several surgeries on him and I she has always done an outstanding job. My younger lab is super energetic. She works with her beautifully. I cannot recommend Dr. McPherson highly enough!

Seemed unsympathetic to my cats, rude, cutting me off, dismissive of concerns, and charged me $200 for basically nothing but a listen with a stethoscope and treated problems I'm the one who told her they had, but prescribed 2 low end medicines compared to other kinds, which are very difficult for my cats to even take because they must be taken orally (when I said I always do topical with them--and who gives pills to vomiting cats when there's an option???) and neither of them are food motivated cats, plus she gave me a 1 month supply of the flea pills but yet said I need to give it to them for 3 months (which she never even examined their skin for that, much less ticks or etc on the skin during the exams, she only knew fleas were present because I told her, and she didn't even bother to look at the hot spots my cat had before dismissively saying "they're probably fine" never even looked at them). Before I came everyone acted like the exact same symptoms I described were an emergency, but after I showed up (but before she even examined them) she started dismissively saying they're fine without giving any medical explanations as to how in the world vomiting blood is "no big deal." Mushy diarrhea for weeks, also said "no big deal" even I know better than that, but no medical explanation behind why after I asked. Only reason I didn't push more is because I figured my girls will receive better treatment if I leave and pay someone else. I wouldn't go back there again if I was being paid to because I wouldn't trust her.

I’ve taken all of my dogs to Dr. McPherson since she opened her practice in 2007. She has always recommended what is best for my dogs, and I trust her advice 100 percent. She has helped us to navigate cancer, a torn cruciate ligament, extreme allergies, and severe anxiety…just to name a few of the issues we’ve faced. We see her far more often than just for annual visits, and she calls to check up on my dogs afterward. She is the only vet we’ve ever had who sits with my dogs on the floor to help them feel more comfortable. She’s our vet for life.

Worst vet ever. She misdiagnosed our cat and 5 weeks later our cat passed away. Our cat was losing weight and she put her on a medication. When I would take her to get weighed, she was incredibly rude. Not once did anyone call to check on our cat. She never even scheduled a follow up appointment to make sure the medication was working. If we had questions she would cut us off. Lab work was suppose to be back in a day but no one ever called with labs , we had to call and they were always so rude. Do not bring your fur baby here. I think if we had gone to another vet our sweet cat would still be with us.
