I love Martin’s. The team there has been insanely helpful with educating me about different flowers, grasses, trees and what would suit my home landscaping best. I am from the Chicago area which is an entirely different zone and has different soil, so everything has been a learning curve for me.But I have enjoyed working with them so much that I leveraged their landscape design team for a consultation and project. Their designer, Sydney was amazingly professional and efficient from start to finish. She was clear in her communication and outlined the expectations of the project. I’m extremely happy with the new landscaping along my back fence and would recommend her to anyone looking to beautify the outdoors of their home! Thanks Sydney and the team at Martin’s… I’ll be back!

Located in Murfreesboro off broad street is this delightful little home and garden. They offer pot ups when you purchase a plant and pot. They also have variety with their selection of plants. From produce to tropical to cactus plants they’re selection is wide. Located in the front of this location is also a market with produce, jams , preserves, honey, marmalade, jelly’s and sauces.

Best nursery in town. I have shopped here for many many years and I'm always impressed with the quality level of their plants and products. They are definitely not the cheapest in town but the age old adage of you get what you pay for is absolutely true in this place. They truly care for and nourish all of their plants. If you want the best this is the place.

This is a great place, they carry lots of plant selections and they also carry stuff that was made or grown by the Amish community. The thing that makes this place great is the quality of stuff they do carry and the quality of the staff that runs this place. Nobody bugging you the whole time your there plus when you need them they are polite and knowledgeable about the stuff they carry.

It’s an annual spring tradition to come and load up for the yard. One trip opens up a week’s worth of work. They have a great selection and the plants are always super healthy. It can be disappointing to watch your garden or flowers struggle all year and never thrive. That doesn’t happen with Martin’s.

What they have, they have LOTS of so good for bigger projects. Variety can be limited depending time of year. Interesting gift shop with a lot of items, including some local food.

Great product and nicely displayed. Excellent selection of annuals and perennials as well as shrubs and trees. Can be pricey, but I would rather pay more than shop around for quality. Rewards program is nice. Always receive $5 off each visit. Last years begonias from Martin's pictured.

I have been to several local garden centers, and Martin's Home & Garden is by far the most well-rounded, with exceptional customer service, quality plants, a huge selection, and the most enjoyable environment. One bad experience would never make me forget the many wonderful experiences I've had here. Spring and fall is magical; summer is a little rough, but that's to be expected at all nurseries. With every year, this family-owned garden center keeps improving. I can't wait to see what next year has in store!

be aware that when you buy bulk items they tend to short you. what they said was a yard of compost wasnt even 3/4 of a yard.they did give me what was owed after i went back. but they were reluctant.the workers there said they were getting in trouble for giving too much. i said i don’t want more than i paid for, but i do want what all i paid for as well.

Customer Service was horrible! Purchased over $200 in plants & tree. Left plants due to rushing. Called back to Martin's and was told that they would secure my items until pick-up later that day. Got there and 3 flowers were missing. Representative told me to come in for a refund or a store credit. No one attempt to select comparable item. The representative was extremely rude claim, she just heard what happened. No compassion, just unprofessional. I would not recommend if you have other options.

Fantastic place. All the staff are very helpful and kind. Each one went above and beyond to help me. They made me feel welcome. Their products are also very good. They even have local honey. Plants look healthy and even offer to pot your plants if you buy a plant and pot. Best place in Murfreesboro for your plant needs.

OK I am updating my previous review because I have now price compared and they are grossly overpriced on many items. I paid $30 for a basic small house plant. Nothing exotic. Worth maybe half that. I also paid $35 more for my Christmas tree compared to Home Depot. Same size frasier fur. They are really not as knowledgeable as they think they are. They have miss sold me several items in including a red maple that was anything but. Southbranch is the best nursery in Murfreesboro.Great selection of everything from vegetable garden, annuals, perennials.

Love it here! They have a good selection of plants compared to say Lowe's or Home Depot. It's definitely easy to go overboard buying plants here. Luckily, they have a rewards program where for every $100 you spend; you get $5 off. Gardening tools are priced well. I like how there was an attached shop of home goods and Amish food. There's also a shop cat :)

Always a lovely experience visiting here! The plants are beautiful and thrive very well after transplanting to the garden, and the employees are always so helpful and friendly! My favorite employee is the cat, he is very welcoming and shows me where to find the best flowers!

Martins is the best place for houseplants ! They have so many wonderful and rare varieties. Not only do they have ornamental plants, but they also have plants for landscaping, gardening, and a full gift shop/market for other items. The workers are very helpful and friendly. I truly recommend that you stop by if you are in the Murfreesboro area!
