I love all the doctors who work at the clinic! My little dog actually likes going there!! I think it’s because they treat him and his “mom” like family!!

We are so grateful for the excellent care our sweet pup, Butler, received from Dr. Blaylock, Brittney, and the whole team during his last couple of months with us. We always felt well informed, supported and soundly guided through a very difficult time for us. Dr. Blaylock was so patient, thorough and professional. Brittney is one of the most sincere and kind hearted people...a God send to us from our very first appt to our last. It was also so appreciated that each step of the way, the pricing was up front and multiple care options offered with realistic expected outcomes. We will be trusting this great Team with the care of our other pets. Grateful ❤️

Been taking our dogs here since 2010. They are very thorough and don't "upsell" if a treatment option is not necessary. Even my rescue baby that's very shy and wary of non-family members is fairly comfortable there. And the staff obviously love the clients...and their humans!

The motto says it all: "Peace of mind through superior care." Dr. Sanders and the team have taken such excellent care of my small dog. We have been to multiple vet clinics in multiple states, and this is the only clinic where my dog voluntarily walks through the door. I think that's because everyone here is so kind and treats him with respect, like a true patient and not just an animal. Dr. Sanders helped put me at ease when my dog had a major surgery. I am so thankful for her thorough, competent care, and appreciate that she takes the time to educate me about how to best take care of my fur baby. To everyone on the team, thank you for being excellent!

We took our puppy here as his primary vet. We loved the hours available and the staff was accommodating. Unfortunately, we no longer go here. We had a louder puppy that got anxious so while we were sitting in the waiting room we were offered a "puppy pacifier" by the receptionist. He LOVED it and it did keep him quiet. We asked the brand of the chew our dog loved since he went through all his other chews so quickly. They brought us the bag... and it was rawhide specifically CET Enzymatic that was branded as an "Oral Hygiene Chew" but looking at the ingredients the first is "beef rawhide". We wished we had been informed of the rawhide before giving it to our puppy. We were taken back to the room and a male vet gave him his rabies and another shot. He proceeded to jab him in the back of the hips both shots at the same time (the others had pinched his skin and done in his back and always one at a time). He yelped as he had never done before while getting a shot. We had positive experiences with the other vets at this practice but ultimately decided to change to a different practice. Their prices were also significantly higher than friend's vets.

FANTASTIC vet! I am new to the area and was in need of a vet. While my dog, Jagger, is a sweetheart, he can be reactive. Upon walking into the vet for the first time I told the gals at the front desk this & my comment was met with a friendly smile & “he’s a good boy, we’ll take great care of him”. I was seen promptly, estimated chargers were discussed throughout our visit, & everyone we encountered was attentive & friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!

Every single person we've encountered here has been so kind and helpful. They're all very friendly and love the animals that come through their doors. My two Frenchies are treated like celebrities and they love every minute of it ❤️ They get so excited to go to the Vet. So far we've had the pleasure of seeing; Dr. Sanders, Dr. Henn, Dr. Melesha, and so many wonderful Vet Techs and Assistance. If you're looking for a caring place to take your precious animal baby, this is it!

From my initial visit to ask questions about your hospital, Jasmine was extremely helpful and gracious (I didn't get the name of the woman working with her that day but she was very nice as well). At our first visit with our brand new puppy, Sue at the front desk welcomed us warmly and we saw Nurse Asia and Dr. Brewer soon after. We had a Lab for over 10 years, but never a puppy and so Dr. Brewer and Asia made us feel right at home, answered all of questions and made us feel comfortable. Wonderful ladies to chat with and our little Chloe loved them! Loved chatting with Sue as I checked out. Very nice staff all the way around. We are so glad we had a recommendation from our good friend! Thank you so much for what you do for our furry babies!

I absolutely love the entire staff! I purposely searched for a veterinarian who also offered boarding services for peace of mind when boarding. My pet has never returned sick or has picked up any additional illnesses while boarding. I also love their grooming and medical care. The doctors are thorough and genuinely care for my pet’s wellbeing. They have been caring for my pet since birth, and I have never been disappointed. They are the absolute best! They love my maltipoo, and he loves them.

I take my Lucy there. She’s had bladder stone surgery and a cancerous tumor removed from her leg(as much as they could get). The staff and all Doctors have always been very helpful. Dr. Todd has a wonderful “bedside manner” for our fur babies plus for their humans. He is understanding and really listens to what I’m saying and doesn’t make me feel foolish on questions I ask. This means a lot especially when I’m worried over her.

Too many mistakes for my fur baby. Apparently the stuff can't keep the paperwork in order. My fur baby is a German shepherd and they had him down as a Lab. They put the wrong day for his birthday, and tried pushing there foods when I told the Veterinarian how much I spend on food for my fur baby,so she wanted me to buy there food. There are so many complaints I have for this place, but I am just moving on to find a better place for my fur baby.

The whole staff was very nice, knowledgeable, happy, and helpful. Punctuality was great. They knew we were crunched for time and got us in and out. Also, considering the services they offer prices are not bad. Highly recommend!

I have had 3 pets over the past 8 years and I have appreciated all the love and care this office gives. All the doctors and nurses have been great but Dr. Blalock and Brittany have been my main care givers and I couldn't thank them enough for all the care they have shown. Thank you! Was there almost 2 hours, veterinarian staff were very thorough, caring and professional…fees are very high compared to other care facilities. I don’t think I have ever gotten in and out of there for less than $500. I continue to go there because it’s close to home and therefore less stressful for both me and my pets. We are all senior citizens and I am on a fixed income, so the cost is particularly hurtful for my age group. I may begin some costing analysis for other facilities that are a little farther away. I do take them to Beesley for wellness checks and vaccines and I do wonder if that’s the reason I get charged more for other services. I take good care of my pets but the cost is problematic and that is sad because it prevents older people having the comfort of an animal companion, as they may have to choose between veterinary care and their own care, such as necessary medicines etc. Having access to an emotional support animal shouldn’t be reserved for only the rich.

A little over 3 months ago our almost 10 year old German Shepherd began having trouble walking. He was experiencing extreme lethargy and wouldn’t eat. The symptom onset was sudden but we assumed he had tweaked his old man hips or something of that nature. After a couple days with little to no improvement we got him in for an appointment with one of the vets. After a VERY brief physical exam ( it basically consisted of manipulating one of his hind legs and seeing it was guarded) we were told we were right and it was most likely due to hip dysplasia. They recommended either NSAIDS or injections to help with the pain. They performed a blood panel as well to make sure he could handle the medication. We chose the NSAIDS.After 3 days of our boy being basically bed ridden we called and asked to change to the injection. When we explained his condition over the previous couple days. We were urged to get at least 2 of the monthly injections before changing the treatment again. Over the next month some days were better than others, but none were any where close to how he was before the symptom onset.By the time the second injection rolled around our sweet boy had lost 12 pounds. We explained that his bad days outweighed the good and even his good days weren’t great. We were told that some lethargy and lack of appetite were common on the injections but should improve. We didn’t schedule his next injection because without marked improvement over that next month we were going to schedule a regular appointment to insist on a full battery of tests to get to the bottom of his issues. We would never get the chance. One Sunday evening we noticed that his breathing had become labored. Fearing he had gotten sick in addition to having his “hip issues” we took him to an emergency veterinary clinic right away. The staff of the emergency clinic was amazing. As soon as we arrived they began work quickly, efficiently and thoroughly on our boy. We finally felt that someone’s concern level matched ours. Within minutes they used an ultrasound to gives us a heart breaking diagnosis. He had hemangiosarcoma. We then had to make the hardest decision any pet family has to make. We chose to put our sweet boy to rest.I tell this story in this review, not because we blame the staff of Animal Care for the out come. However we also can’t say that there is no way they could have known. They were the experts with the knowledge and experience to accurately assess the situation. We had no idea that the last 3 times our dog set foot in Animal Care he was dying because no one bothered to look. Again, an earlier diagnosis would not have changed his outcome. What it would have done is possibly allowed us to prepare. It would have allowed us to make him more comfortable and spoil him in his final days.I am not advising against using this practice. What I am saying is if you do, be prepared to advocate for your pet. If something doesn’t feel right, speak up. Hopefully sharing this can help another family avoid the shock and pain we have had to experience.

I've never taken my dogs to a better place. They are very personable, speak to you like a human being and the love they have for animals is clear based on how they interact with my babies. A clear distinction from our previous vet, the staff here has won me over.

Been going to Animal Care Vet for several years! Both my dogs love going to the vet and I refuse to go anywhere else because of that. Even if it is now a 45 min! Love them all!

The front staff was not very nice to me, I had only taken my puppy there two times, the first was okay but it’s over 100$ for the vet to come in the room for 5 mins. The second visit, the vet told me my puppy was “un-enriched” and needed to be around more people. He goes everywhere I go. She walked in with 2 shots and didn’t even greet my dog. Of course he is scared. Then, I brought him there to get a shot for puppy daycare the kennel cough vaccine, and Let them know it was for daycare/boarding. and didn’t let me know the shot wasn’t fully effective for 2 weeks, he now has kennel cough and we have a large vet big

After visit to two other veterinary clinic, after my yorkiepoo had seizures, I walked away with little understanding of her condition and what I could do do help her until I found Doctor Scates and her staff. The team educated me as to testing options and treatment options ( long term and short term). Everyone was polite, welcoming, compassionate and caring. I even got a follow-up call to check on my dog. I am confident that I have the best team to keep my dog as healthy as possible.
