It's always a mess, shelves aren't stocked & the employees are rude. There are always carts full of merchandise on the sales floor. I've dug 20lb bags of dog off of them a few times, because it's never on the counter. They would rather risk losing a customer over $1 instead of honoring something that was stocked in the wrong place. The worst customer care I've ever dealt with.

One of the messiest stores I've ever seen! No rhyme or reason to anything. And it was very cold inside. I don't think there was any heat on. On a positive note, the cashiers were very friendly ladies.

Yesterday I ask for cash back by mistake. It took over a hr to get things straight. The lady was kind an working hard to help me. But I was told the money would be on my card with in a few minutes . So the refund was to be done so when it didn't show up I tried calling them and no one ever answers the phone. This is so stressful and not getting a answer is really starting to get to me.

I love the Dollar General, but the two Mountain City stores are in terrible need of more help or better management. The shelves are always empty. They need night stickers. The stores are way too busy for the workers to be able to run the register AND run stock. It's a nightmare!!!

Where to begin.. let's start by saying the one star rating should be ZERO. I will not enter this location again. Every trip to this store has been a nightmare. The aisles are always a damn pig sty. Shelves go days without being restocked even though the stock carts have been sitting in the aisles for several days and sitting in the back.. my last and final visit I returned from the day before only to find out the cat food wasn't put on the shelves yet. The stock cart containing the items I wanted to purchase where sitting in the back just inside the doors to the back room. I asked if there was any chance I could have someone to grab these items from the cart. I was told they can't get to the items in question because it's stuffed way in the back.. I said well it's actually right in plain sight and I would like to buy the items. I was then told well what ever is out on the floors is all they have for now.. So as I watched this employee stuff their lazy face in front of me while finding every excuse to not walk to the back of the store and retrieve these items I told said employee that they are the reason this store is always such a mess and employees don't stick around for long.. And every visit to this dump the music is always blaring and when your in an aisle and your wife is next to you trying to point something out and speak you literally have to scream.. The only good use for this store would be if I'm driving through town and I have the worst diarrhea only then would I stop and S*** all over the already messy floors riddled with items

Pretty much the closest thing to Walmart in town. Workers are friendly and hard working. Reason for 4 star instead of five is the dont have alot of things in stock at one go four miles down the road the other one does have it so you have to go to multiple stores to get what you need.

This one never has anything at all. The employees are never where they Are supposed to be. And never enough help here. Always standing in line forever.But most of the employees are very nice and friendly and do, do their job right

Every time we go in it feels like the store is closing, there arent a lot of lights on and a lot of the shelves are empty but the people are super nice

Machines are always down. Want cash but don't have change...this place just needs to shut down..last time in this store cashier was very very rude to customer.. yelling and then she called police on him!! I do not like this store!

Way to much stock sitting in the aisles couldn't get to the products on the shelves. Other then that friendly staff and good prices

This place has nice ppl that work there. But it's always a damn mess. Nothing is ever unpacked and stocked..the isles stay full of stuff and you can barely get thru the isle..

This Dollar General is very conveniently located just off the roads with lots of parking places. Store is clean staff is very friendly, always ready to help.

Just seems the aisles are always crowded with boxes of product to put out on the shelves. And the people that check you out give you the excuse they just don't have the time.

Terrible store horrible employees the woman working today around 12 PM was hateful and rude I don't recommend this rat nest to anybody, Pretty sure they are all on Drugs too giving the was the actual Floors and shelves look :/

Line is always long and they only have one register open at all times even if the line is to the back of the store and they are in no hurry to check you out.
