Absolutely amazing, everything tasted so good and was so fresh. Our server was so sweet and quick. The place was decently busy for a Saturday night and our group got sat really quick! We were in and out in probably 30-45 minutes!The fried pickles and the pineapple chicken are to die for!I live in Indiana and already am planning on coming back!

My husband and I have been driving by this place for 5 years after building a house in the area and being from out of state. This place is always busy so we finally made it on our to do list and stop while we were back in Tennessee. The staff was very pleasant and great fast service. It definitely didn't disappoint. My husband had the steak and ribs and cooked perfectly. I ordered the chopped steak and was tasty as well. The green maters were excellent as well as the peanut butter pie. We will definitely go back when we head back to our home.

What a wonderful surprise! Stopped by here for lunch, for the 1st time, last Wednesday on our way to Rogersville. The food was unbelievably delicious. I had the chicken fried steak, sides of mashed potatoes & gravy & broccoli. Oh, we also started with their famous fried green tomatoes…so good and the sauce to go with it was heavenly. I lived, years ago, in Oklahoma and chicken fried steak was everywhere so I’ve had a lot. This was THE BEST IVE EVER HAD! The chicken batter was seasoned perfect and the chicken was so moist. Gravy was delicious too. Husband’s catfish was the real deal and the portion was Huge. I do apologize that I did a no no by posting pics after we had taken a few bites (think he had eaten an entire catfish filet;) but gives you an idea, sorry. Tabatha was our server and was filling drinks constantly and gave great suggestions on food - doing a great job! We don’t usually go in this direction to a restaurant (live in White Pine), but we will now! What a great hidden gem.

We frequent this restaurant at least once a month and drive all the way from Johnson City about an hour away. We've done this for years. The food is awesome and the service is usually outstanding. The waiter we had today was outstanding as usual, but the hostess was less than adequate.She goes to seat us in the middle of the and we ask her if we could have a booth. Well, we got the stink eye and the most hateful look. She looked at us with true disgust, like we were putting her out.She definitely needs to be retrained. We will wait and see how we ate treated next time, but we may skip a month or two. Before this would have given it 5 stars hands down. Now that we do not feel welcome our visits will definitely be fewer.

I LOVE those maters! To borrow a line from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, this food is a sign that God loves us and wants us to be happy. The food is always perfect every time we visit - biscuits are soft and warm and incredibly delicious, fried green tomatoes always perfectly fried, French fries the perfect crispness, bacon cooked exactly the way I like it, huge chunks of broccoli in the broccoli and cheese soup... This is one of our very favorite restaurants anywhere!

We had the Cajun Sticks as an appetizer and it was surprisingly awesome, looked great but tasted even better! My wife loved the chicken and dumplings. Being a person with a bigger appetite than most, I had to try the Big Dog. HUGE! It was a serious struggle to get it consumed. Great service and atmosphere just rounded out a great dinner.

Consistently perfect!! We’ve stopped in at least 3 times now and each time has been wonderful. I can’t help but get the Rocky Top chicken every time. I find myself thinking about it when I’ve not been in a while. I tried making it at home this week and lord was it a failure. Needless to say I got my fix today and it’s delicious as always. My husband ventures out to try something new each time and I’ve not heard any complaints. The staff are kind and the place is always packed. If you ever find yourself down US-11 near mooresburg, do yourself a favor and drop in.

After all the years of living close by to this little gem , finally stopped by. And wow we have been missing out. It's a small mom and pop restaurant. Had the typically feel. Friendly environment and very friendly staff. The 2 waitresses we meet was wonderful and very welcoming, thank you Tabitha and Lindsey. The chicken and dumplings almost got me emotional, because they was as close to what my grandmother used to make. Everything we had was terrific from appetizer to desert. Do not pass this place up.!!

My boyfriend and I went there last night for Valentine's, I had been hearing it was good, well we got there and got seated quickly. Our waitress name was Cassie, she was wonderful, took very good care of us. I had the fried catfish, baked potato and the greens, boyfriend had a Hawaiian chicken, sweet potato and apples, it was WONDERFUL!! This place is my new favorite, we will definitely be back.

This place is awesome!! Have never been disappointed with service or food!! I had the Green mater BLT today and WOW, it was fantastic! Their fried green maters are amazing. I try to work them in somehow every time I order 😂😂Thank you to the staff and servers! Y'all work really hard and it shows. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone passing through or in the area. I drove 20 miles out of my way just for the lunch. 😋

The best fried green tomatoes I have ever ate . I had the chopped steak with sweet potatoe casserole and greens. The greens were yummy. My sister had the fried catfish with fried corn and a loaded baked potato. My mom had half rack of ribs with baked potato and apples.Her ribs fell of the bone . Then we had a pecan pie cobbler that we split . Y'all if you haven't tried this place yet go now and try it you won't be disappointed.

Another great Google find! We arrived a little after 2:00 on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, and found it to be quite a busy little place. We were promptly seated and our server was on top of his game. We ordered the "maters" and were overwhelmed with the wide variety of options on the menu. In the meantime our waiter brought out a little basket of scrumptious biscuits...mmm, mmm, mmm. Hubby ordered the grilled catfish with slaw and spiced apples (they were awesome!) and I ordered a bowl of the potato soup which was just perfect! We shared some chips and salsa, which was really, really good...brought some home! We ended our meal with a piece of key lime pie and peanut butter pie "to go." Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent! Highly recommend!👍👍👍

This place is a hidden gem. Staff was friendly, resturaunt was clean and cutely designed inside but the food...the FOOD . The food was SO good. Fresh, perfectly cooked and good portions. This place is an hour from where I live, but it has instantly become my go to spot for when I'm hankering for a home-cooked country meal.

Best fried green maters I’ve ever had! Crispy perfection on the outside, just soft enough to bite into on the inside. Seasoned well and served hot. I could’ve made a meal just off them, but we each also tried an entree. For me, the Mooresburg chicken with sides of collards and a loaded baked potato. For him, meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. Really good food! Wish we lived close enough to make this a regular stop. We’ll still be back though. I need more of those maters!

First time here. The fried green tomatoes were outstanding. The coating was full of flavor. They serve them with a dip that I'm not sure what is in it, but it was delicious. There were about 6 sliced on a plate.I ordered chicken and dumplings with okra and fried apples. Large portions, so I could not eat it all. The other picture I posted is the Aloha Chicken. It came with cowboy beans that had all types of beans included. One bite and my mouth was full of so many flavors! You can't go wrong at this place. If you are traveling in the area, it's worth a stop. Clean restaurant, friendly staff.Second visit a year later to meet family. Once again, the green tomatoes did not disappoint! The catfish was really good. One person ordered the ""BIG DOG". Looked like a foot long hot dog with chili and cheese. Server said she had never seen anyone eat the whole thing, and he didn't. Great service! Thank you!!

We were road tripping from Texas, food was very good. Mac and cheese burger was great. My son loved his spaghetti and baked tater. Thanks for the amazing service, I unfortunately did not get her name, but she was caucasian and light brown hair (worked on Memorial Day). Shout out to you; you were on point.

Food was good and great service. If I wanted to be nitpicky the pot roast had to much salt and the Mac n cheese wasn't great. The peanut butter pie was still a little frozen so it was hard to cut but probably the best thing I had. I'm pretty sure the pie was made on site so I'm guessing they make a bunch all at one time and freeze to use later. My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger (not pictured) and she said it was ok. To me it looked like a frozen patty like you buy at the store and cook at home which was a little disappointing to me but again she said it was ok. When we paid the bill it was $36.09 which is good but when I paid for it they added a $3 charge so $39.09 before tip. I even asked to the cashier how much it was and she said $36.09 I'm thinking it was an extra charge for using a debit card but honestly idk. You would think they would say something about a fee to use a card but nothing so really idk if that's what it was for or not. Like I said overall it was good and we will be going back.

This place has it all. First, our server was incredible! Drinks were never below half. She kept checking back with us to make sure we were taken care of. Second, the food was phenomenal! Fried green tomatoes were, as the kids would say, bussin. BLT was also great!. Lastly, we met the owner. A true patriot! We need more of the places like this around the country! Family atmosphere, great service, extremely reasonable prices. I will drive out of my way to go here again. We are from Ohio, and I promise it won't be long before we are back!!!!
