So grateful for another (12th) consecutive “cousin lake week” at Sunset Marina on Dale Hollow Lake. The infrastructure, facilities, and rental vessels, are the best on lake. Steel Coop offered great cuisine, and a good time was had by all. Highly recommended for a special family event!! Simply the best-hosted experience available on the most beautiful lake in Tennessee. Hard to go wrong here!!!

Best vacation ever! We had 12 of us. There was plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable - waterproof cover wasn't a bother. While they have pillows, they have vinyl covers on them (which is good), you may want to bring your own. The staff were SO NICE. The whole process was easy and enjoyable.Only things missing - a squeegee for the top deck, lights for the top deck (just a string of Xmas lights would do), hooks in the bedrooms and bathroom, and maybe a few shelves in the bedrooms.We had good weather - just missed a big storm luckily. The bugs weren't bad at all. Hardly any mosquitos somehow. A+ all around!

Enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant here.I was surprised at the variety of things on the menu - I had the seared tuna for an appetizer and it was awesome! The blackened grouper sandwich was also very tastyThe service was friendly and quick and they managed our large party of 11 people very well! Prices were very good for the quality and quantity of food.It's a lovely location and afterwards we were able to get some ice cream on the dock for dessert.Oh! And, oh my goodness, you can feed the ducks and turtles and they are absolutely adorable! Bring quarters for the dispenser!

Stayed here at a cabin with in-laws. They have a boat and use the marina too. The marina is real nice, houseboats to rent along with pontoons (visit their website). The place is nice and clean. Housekeeping staff are great. We went out today and actually swam in the lake (78 was water temp) and was not too bad. I’d consider coming back and renting a houseboat and staying on the lake in a cove for a week, sounds like a fun family lake vacation.

Cost for entrance is $5 per car. There is a marina to launch boats. Large swim area. Several place to picnic with charcoal grills. Not much area to walk around. A good day trip to go swimming and to have a barbecue. Although there is a cost to get in, not much to do once there other than swim or cook/eat. No trails. A small playground area and several bathrooms.There is a campground there that is private and has electric and water hookups. Unsure of the fees for campground or launching boats.

Great marina! Boats are clean and well-kept. Marina store has all you might need or forgot to bring, along with cute Dale Hollow tees and hats. The Steel Coop restaurant was a welcome respite after a long day at the lake-great salads, burgers, pizza and cold beer! A great place to spend the weekend!!

It’s a great place if you planning for a short and sweet day out. There are bbq and swimming place. There are also campsite, boat rent facility with a gift shop with essentials and a fast food bar. Pretty exciting and well facilities. And the view with a small sea beach pattern Pebbled bay is also give that extra enhancement.

Love Dale hallow and this marina! The cabins are beautiful and great for large families. House boat experience is always great and our group returns every year. The restrooms are always clean with shower/changing stalls.

Be careful staying there. Someone stole my extension cord while I was out fishing on the lake. I was staying in cabin 24 and a security camera was pointed towards the cabin, but unfortunately their cameras don’t work!!!

Swimming beach, boat rental, picnic tables, grills, all provided at this marina. They also have cabin rentals and camping. My kids love it here! Dale hollow has great fishing and excellent mountain views.

Friendly staff. Nice cabin rental. Boat rentals go fast so reserve early. Restaurant also has good food and service. We walked in 15 minutes before close and they were more than happy to serve us.

Homemade blue cheese and ranch dressing! Yum!! Food was hot. The grilled grouper was great. Ribeye was cooked exactly as ordered. Overall great meal. Friendly ladies. Seats look out toward the water, nice.

The food is always good and the ice cream on a hot summer day is a most great views the prices are high in the store if you look around you can find stuff a lot cheaper but over all awesome place

My happy place! It’s absolutely beautiful! We love the beach area! The marina is beautiful. My grand babies loved feeding the fish and turtles off of the dock.

Excellent!!! We had a party of 8 and had a wonderful time on Dale Hollow Lake. Our houseboat "Flagship" had all we needed as far as basic supplies. The weather was amazing and so was our time on the boat. Can't wait to do it again. The Sunset Marina was 5 star and the employees were very helpful and courtesy. Will recommend this place in a heart beat.

Very friendly, and helpful staff. Everything about our Tri-toon rental was smooth and easy. They even have carts to help move equipment from your car to the boat.The attached photo was taken from our Airbnb house at the top of the hill.

What a lovely marina! The staff members were all so friendly and helpful. We had a blast feeding the turtles and fish--be sure you have a few quarters in your pocket.The pontoon boat we rented was clean and well-maintained, as was the entire marina. The boat felt spacious and had everything we needed for a day of fun on the lake (gas grill, cooler, trash can with lid, and a slide!).The flower planters are a bright, cheerful accent, and the entire property was user-friendly and welcoming.

Booked a 2 bedroom cabin for my mother for a week. The cabin was directly UNDER the 111 hwy bridge over Dale Hallow Lake. Only should be booked by heavy sleepers!! Then you add in the black bugs coming out of the shower drain plus the rock hard mattress made for a miserable stay. Only reason it got 2 stars is because the restaurant had great food and the marina is nice. We left a night early.

Nice marina, great views, clean facilities, and decent food. However, drove my family 15 miles by boat to eat there on a Friday night with a hungry toddler only to be turned away. To our surprise, the restaurant closes at 7 (on Friday and Saturday). The restaurant was fairly crowded and even though we arrived at 6:30, were told they were "closed". We pleaded but were told "we should respect the chef's decision". Needless to say, we were furious. Despite our first experience we decided to give it another try on Saturday due to all of the raving reviews. We arrived at 5:30 this time and had a 15 minute wait. After being sat, it took 15-20 minutes before we were able to place our food order. Once we were able to order, we were told they were out of pork which is featured in multiple dishes. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time as several of us had picked out items with pulled pork. We were specifically told we couldn't get the nachos which was what I had picked out. A few minutes later the table next to us gets a huge plate of nachos with chicken, would've also been nice to know subbing chicken was an option. Once we finally ordered, food took 25-30 minutes. It was almost 7 when we left and of course they were still seating people, go figure. If you're new to the lake, I recommend sulfur creek. Their food isn't as good but service is top notch and they have a much better beer selection.
