I drive out of my way to shop here <millington location>as I find the aquatic department to be the best. The manager was there helping me just last week. I was sad to hear she would be leaving the store after many years. Sure hope the place don't go down the %$$=/% without her.

As far as shopping this is my go to!! They have everything I need! Grooming on the other hand was not a great experience. They had previously told me it would take 2 hours to wash my dog. I made an appointment and dropped him off at 9:15am. Well 11am comes along and still haven’t heard anything so I went up there and at 11:10 she had JUST given him his bath.She said it would be another hour and a half. I had to leave for work so I asked to just go ahead and pay for the bath only and take him home. When I asked why it was taking longer this time she said “it’s just when dogs get brought in so he had 5 others in front of him” why have so many appointment times available if they don’t actually do it by the appointment time? I have no problem waiting a few hours for my dog to be groomed, I understand it takes time especially with the different energies of an animal, but don’t book as many spots if it’s just going to be walk in based anyways. Very disappointed to pay $90 for a bath and nail clippings to bring him home wet and unhappy.

I ordered, they sent an email verifying the order and again when the order was ready. I called from outside the store and they brought it to me. The order was exactly what I requested. Unlike another Petco which could never deliver what I ordered or communicate why my order was wrong. They left it to door dash to communicate with me.

I don't know if it is because this store is understaffed but this store is NOT clean. I went today to restock on food and get a few more items for my dog and as I was looking around the clothing/foot covering/leash& harness area, I saw quite a lot of cobwebs and spiderwebs all over the shelving and saw a spider crawling by my feet under the shelving. I had also notice cobwebs on some of the pet food as I walked around the store. The store needs to be cleaned and maybe sprayed PRONTO. Also a lot of the clothing and merchandise in this area had either been opened and just left in a big mess at the bottom of the shelf or left on the floor. Doesn't exactly inspire me to buy from them. I was able to find what I came to get relatively easily and check out easily which works in their favor but the messiness/uncleanliness was definitely an issue for me.

Im giving 2 stars because the groomer was polite, however this is the worse grooming I’ve ever seen on my golden doodle. There is uneven bald spots, he has hair behind one ear and not the other, his ears have literally three layers of length (why), about four strings of long hair is still hanging above his nose… I can go on and on. I had to really analyze him when we got home. He went somewhere else, for his first puppy cut; but their appointments were pushed back very far, I should have just waited. Now I have to call them to try to clean this! For over 80 bucks, they must do better. You can’t just shave and cut and send dogs home this way.

The member prices are always competitive, if not lower than other stores. This includes Chewy. The store is located conveniently near other retailers at which I shop.

My little Buffy had a bad sneeze and runny nose. A Petco associate knew what I needed and was helpful. It saved me a costly trip to the Vet. Now Buffy is better. Thank you Petco.

I love this store. The staff is so helpful and always speaks to you when you're in there. Heck, we usually end up talking to a few employees for a few minutes every time we come in. They're so friendly.

Evelyn is awesome! We’ve been getting our dog food from Petco for years now because it’s more often available than Amazon. We usually buy several bags at once. Between a couple states and many stores, no employee has ever brought it to our attention that if we get set up with the app, we can get every 10th bag of dog food free. Super cool. Really appreciative her going out of her way and helping us out!

Very polite groomers! Katie did a very wonderful cut on my little buddy. I gave very specific instructions about his cut (e.g. “lamb cut with 0.5 in. off the legs), and they were followed meticulously. From the beginning, Katie knew exactly what I was asking for even confirming how it would look afterwards without me having to explain it much at all.

This place is amazing and the people who work here are nice but the betas in pretty much every pet store are in horrible condition and need more proper care also bigger places to swim. Betas like to in nice place where’s there is stuff to hide in but also enough room to swim around.

This is my puppy 2nd grooming. They did great job the 1st time. Today was his 2nd grooming and it looks terrible. His hair is uneven and the hair around his ears are different lengths. I asked that they not shave him but cut his hair and he looks like they did not cut all of his hair. I will be looking for a new groomer for my puppy.

I go for the dog grooming services. The staff in that department is good. Prices are a bit high, but limited options in Millington. Rest of the store seems ok.
