I was very pleasantly surprised. For a smallish main grocery in Middleton TN they were well stocked and had some excellent prices. Be sure to check their sale flyers and look for sale signs it is well worth it.

This is Wednesday. The store should be well stocked for the first day of weekly sales flyer. The iceberg lettuce is literally rotting. There are probably 6 heads of lettuce and all are rotting. Other lettuce bags aren't in good condition either. The strawberries are rotting. They are too over ripened to sell. The orange juice choices are minimal because they aren't stocked. The sour cream not well stocked. The store is cluttered and not clean. The prices are extremely high for a grocery store. Recently the check out staff has been much more pleasant and cordial. But most times in the past, no one speaks to you. I don't like shopping here. But sometimes you need to pick up a few things and you don't have a lot of choices. If the dollar store sold produce, I would probably not be back.

I'm sharing this because of their fried chicken in the deli department. It is the best out there. Especially at the Food Giant in Middleton, Tennessee. Oh my Gracious and if you get it freshly cooked, I promise it'll change your life.

The prices are absolutely ridiculous.Juicy juice was $6.89, same bottle at Wal-Mart is$3.84Food Giant Middleton Rip off, shame on yall.Convenience is the only reason this place is still open.

Our home town grocery store, they usually have everything you need. They have a deli in the back of the store and serve food plates, the rotisserie, and fried chicken is excellent. The deli workers are friendly and eager to help you with your food orders. If the store is busy checkout can sometimes be a little slow.

High prices, meat dept area stinks awful. Looks like they inject there chicken with water and keeps them half frozen. Steaks are fatty. Only positive was my cashier. She was very nice. Her name I think is Brittany. She was very polite and helpful. But overall wouldn't shop there again. Updated 09/06/21. Went to get a soda out soda machine. Poor veteran couldn't shop . They have No handicap wheelchair. They have no regards for the disabled . I went inside and got his few items he needed. Just disgusting with this store. Health dept will be called.

I visit in this area 2 or 3 times each year and always go to this store for lots of groceries while I'm visiting. Ihave only one comment and it has to do with one of the cashiers today. She was quite rude when I checked out and I was quite worried about it thinking I had done something she didn't like. I'm a retired nurse from this state and have never come across anyone as rude as she was. Otherwise the store is great and I will spend my money there each time I'm in the area. The Angus chuck roast is amazing, produce is good, and the other employees are very nice.

It was 13 min until 8pm...I had had a day of chaos & stress..I just wanted to pick up the few ideas I HAD to have in the morning for my guests. As I walked up to the door the girl locked it in my face...I looked at my watch..yep almost 15 min left. It's posted as 8pm close, not 7:45... this is so wrong!!!

Well... They're hiring for deli help yet, when we were there, one of the workers doing stocking was just socializing with friends from school and a worker from the deli was out from behind the deli and socializing with the other workers friends and 3 other people who were all blocking the front of the deli so I couldn't even see what was there and I just gave up and walked around and I later seen the same deli worker just meandering around the store with the same people just walking and talking and hanging out. And also... The manager there that's been there for several years now still seems oblivious to every thing around him and it don't seem like he even know how to do anything in the store including running a cash register.

The lady in the deli, who prepares the food from the hot box, was not friendly at all. After standing there for several minutes and no one else was waiting I had to ask her to prepare a bowl of roast beef. She rudely asked which size. I picked the smallest size container and was charged $3.05 for 1 entree. Furthermore, she didn't offer me any kind of cutlery to eat with. The roast was not the best tasting. It was really bland in flavoring. On the other hand, the lady that ran the register at the service desk was very polite and kind. She even asked if I would like a bag to place the small container of roast, a fork, and a 20oz Mountain Dew. The cashier's outstanding customer service is the only reason why I give it a 3-star rating.

Produce section is very limited, and unless there's a sale, most items are pricey. However, they do have a nice dollar section, staff are very friendly and they have a pretty good deli and chicken options. Good for a quick stop on basic items.

A friendly small grocery store. Employees are friendly and helpful. Selection is pretty limited compared to a Kroger or Walmart. The fresh fried chicken is amazing, as well as their single serving deli cheesecakes.

Not a very big selection to choose from. Better watch when sale items are rung up, as the sale price, or any correct price at times, are in the system. People get bothered when you say something, but right is right. If there are no issues, people are pleasant. Store is clean.

Definitely not Maxwell's grocery anymore. Prices have jumped and the quality of food has dropped. The deli has even changed their recipes, inedible fried chicken very salty. Dont waste your money! Food giant has taken this store downhill.

This store needs to upgrade it's brands and their pricing(lower). It does not offer the type of product equal to the clientele it now serves. With the Rogers Spring, and Woodrun properties on the up, people are moving into this area who expect a Kroger type shopping experience. This Giant needs a manager that has the authority to act on customer requests. I like David. He apparently does not have the authority necessary to act on customer requests.

Terrible quality of products. I have gotten rolls of best choice danish rolls, only to open them and see mushed dough and foul tasting frosting. These rolls were allowed to get hot, then chilled again. I experienced the same problem with some Pepperidge farm cakes they had on sale in frozen food section. They had thawed and refrozen judging from the frosting that was stuck to the packaging. Bad, overpriced produce and walmart has better meat. This store was much better when it was an independent grocery.

The prices for their food are way to High especially for Pick 5's 24.99 that's ridiculously crazy in Bolivar Tn you get 5 Pick 5's for 19.99 now that's not bad!! And everyone is jumping on it
