I gave this store 5 stars 2 years ago. I am changing it to two stars solely based on the employees that are here now. The manager and assistant manager act like you are bothering them if you ask a question or if you ask for assistance on an item that you cannot reach. You'll either get a snide remark or totally ignored. And forget any employee thanking you or telling you to have a good day. The employees in this store act like they are doing you a service. There are too many other Dollar General stores in the area to take this kind of terrible customer service. I'll gladly go to Walnut, Grand Junction or even Boliver before I shop this store again. My advice to the owners get rid of the female assistant manager she is not nice to customers and I witnessed her speaking rudely to several while I was in the store. Her rudeness Obviously has rubbed off on the other employees because you will never get a thank you after your purchase. Ugh.

I find myself going to this store at least once a day for 1 thing or another always at different time's and I can say most of the employees are very friendly and go out there way to help then you have some that seem to just not care and get rude or have a attitude when you ask a question or have a problem. The store is usually very clean there's only been a few times I've been in and it was messy. I do wish they had more stuff like the other store's I feel like they always have the same thing never any new stuff as far as home decor, make-up, clothes and area's like that. It's a nice store just wish they offered a big selection of stuff like the other store's do instead of it being mostly food, candy, toilet paper and paper towels. I really do believe this store has every kind of toilet paper and paper towels on the market but only a tiny section of home decor. They do have issues with stuff not ringing up the same as what the sales tag has on the shelf but they always fix it when brought to there attention also it would be nice if when the customer ask about a certain product they actually take the time to look into it instead of just saying they don't know, I mean if you carry a product and a customer specificly brings to your attention that it is flying off the shelf as soon as you get it why would you not order a little more nxt time instead of the customer having to ask every time when will there be more? Other than those problems this store is awesome.

It's a good place to shop. They have reasonable prices on alot of things and you can usually catch a good sale on about twice a month. If you use there Digital coupon thing , well it's okay except you can only do one item at a time and that's why I don't use it , bc you have to do just one item at a time. Other than that, it's a great dog%:

Store is very clean!! Employees are very nice and helpful!! What can I say, I'm one of them!! And if be happy to try and help you find whatever you need!! 😁 Seriously, this is one of the cleanest stores, and was this way prior to my starting there!!

I have to watch every time I check out. Was unable to the whole time, as I was putting things on the counter, but things never ring up right. I caught two items (same thing), which would have cost me $2, and upon checking my receipt, I paid $2 more on two other items!! I would think this is on the verge of being criminal. They'll give you the discount if you bring it to their attention, otherwise you snooze you lose. And they treat you strange, or rude because it inconveniences them. Those pennies and dollars add up!! Better watch when you check out, and don't be afraid to say something.

The Middleton Dollar General has cleaned up the store, they have answered yhe stocking crisis, and it is pleasant shopping. The new cashiers are really nice and patient.

Think it might be improving now, noticed theirs never items in the right spot for prices, also they never have much stock on the shelves especially when they have sales, you can go the next morning that the sale date starts and the product is out. HMMM!!!

Don't know what's going on. Shelves are always empty now and it's a waste of time to shop there because you can't get anything or very few items on your list. Very disappointed last several visits. Shocking, since it's the only store for miles.

When I arrived, their was no one at the check out counter. I had to ask a customer where a certain product was. When I arrived at the counter along with 4 other customers, I called out for service & was scolded basically for doing that. We had already been waiting for awhile though..

Nice place to pick up some needed item cheap, except you have to watch it. Some items have been downsized just for dollar general.
