I started this hobby/lifestyle late July 2023 and didn't know anyone personally that could help me or point me in the right direction in regards to anything that had to do with birds. In my experience, it's easier to go to an expert so that they can equip you with the basics and then you can venture out from there. I was ecstatic when I found out there was a bird store in Memphis! I went and was absolutely amazed at all of the pole systems, feeders, food, books, and TERRIFIC and knowledgeable staff that were there. I started visiting every few days or at least once a week since July since I'm constantly adding/changing my setups to accommodate the new birds that have found my little sanctuary. But, let's be honest here. I can easily shop online and have everything delivered to my door like I typically do, but I would never get to experience the warmth and joy the staff bring if I went that route. From the manager, Eric, to all staff, they ALWAYS do the right thing and go beyond that. I've brought items that I bought from another retailer (because I specifically wanted a certain material for the item) and the staff happily installed it on my birdhouse. I truly love this store.

This is a great place to go for your birding needs. They have different types of bird seed and suet to choose from as well as informative books and even a coloring book. The service is great because the people are so warm and welcoming and ready to assist. 5 stars.

Today was my first ever bird purchase. I originally went to this shopping center to go to Penzey's Spices and saw Wild Birds Unlimited next door. Eric was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the birds in our area and helped us choose the perfect introductory setup.

I go there to buy food, good quality but you pay for it. They moved from old location (Mt Moriah) and navigated by phone. When I walked in I said "Hi I see you moved." The two ladies working had attitude. They made some sarcastic comment/joke the other store was still open, and then insulting dimwit personal comments at my expense. I played it off but they were very insulting. I asked why I did not get notified (being on mail list). They checked and had right address and zip but the city was wrong and nowhere near Memphis or surrounding towns. As I made my purchase talking to the lady about feeders and another customer came in. She just ignored me and walked away. The second lady was hiding I guess. Not even "can I get you anything else" or "thank you" or telling the other customer I'll be right with you (as I did still have other questions).. I have been in there before and served by a young lady and she was polite and friendly. These two older ladies were bitter, unfriendly with attitude. I HATE going there because I leave I feeling disrespected 2 out of 3 times. This is not the first time I got bad vibes from the staff here. Do not expect courteous friendly treatment, but you may get lucky. I am tired of their snotty attitude. Try Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Pet Smart and on-line shopping first and compare prices. I am going to find another place to buy bird food and supplies. Bye

This place has become one of our favorite shops. Backyard birdwatching in the Memphis area is a newly discovered delight for my family and the people here know their stuff. The employees have always been kind and remarkably helpful as we explore this new hobby. The birds have been going crazy for their mix of seeds. And theres a plethora of books, local handmade jewelry, winchimes, and adorable knick knacks for your bird-loving friends and family. Check them out. You won't regret it.

Feeding and watching wild birds has been a hobby since childhood and has been a relaxing distraction while Safer at Home. Wild Birds is not only a great place for beautiful birdbaths, feeders, and many varieties of seed and suet, but it has become my go to place for beautiful gifts. I love shopping in a small place where there is always someone to answer questions. Shop local and feed the birds!
