Just a warning for those buying bacon at Whole Foods. In a word, don’t. I bought a half pound of bacon and cooked it. It had sat out to long on the shelf I think, the smell was off and the taste was awful. I continue to shop at Whole Foods, but beware the bacon.

I was followed around Whole Foods in Memphis, TN by this man. He kept yelling at me in the parking lot and followed me around in the store. The only way I could get him to stop was by recording him. I am an African American woman and was fearful of my life and still do not understand why this white man was following me around in the store. I notified an employee and showed her the video and pointed the man out and she contacted the store manager and told me he was coming to talk to me. I calmly told her that I was afraid to stay in that store any longer and that the manager needs to speak to the man following me and not me. They insisted on security walking me out to my car so I can feel safe. The security officer was nice but he should’ve spoken to the man following me and kept him in the store while I walked to my car. I really don’t think anyone said anything to that man. I use to go to that store everyday and I know several employees that I wave at but I no longer feel safe and I don’t think Whole Foods wants people like me shopping there.

This is Not a rating of the whole store just the deli department. The girl had a bad attitude when she addressed me at the counter. I simply was overly polite to her and didn’t think twice until I got home and went to make a sandwich. Picture shows what a mess this woman made of my food! I wish people would take pride in what they are being paid to do. This employee is not the quality Whole Foods stands for.

This place was amazing! I’ve never seen a store so organized and with a variety of food and drinks. Wish I would have taken my phone with me to take some pics but I wasn’t expecting that!

The whole foods in Germantown TN is the best hands down. First let me speak on the one employee and how she has a beautiful soul. My daughter broke a glass in the check out and she rushed over to clean it up and calmed her down. I will never forget her. She is one of the reasons I always go to whole foods. She is always helpful and delightful whenever you ask her something. The staff as a whole at this location is wonderful. The produce is always fresh and there is a wide variety to choose from. The store is clean. I went in one day for a Fresh fruit tart. OMG can we say delicious. The sushi is really good and the sandwiches are always fresh. I highly recommend anyone to shop here.

this store started as a tiny little hippie health food store on Poplar called Squash Blossom located across from the fabulous Drake Cleaners, where the Indian restaurant is now, a couple of blocks west of overton Park. it was acquired by wild oats and moved to the old Fred Montessi store, which today is the parking lot for the Kroger, the big Kroger on Union in Midtown. AND eventually all the people out in East Memphis started licking the Whole Foods and it got moved out to where it’s at today. It’s an awesome store with great displays and the same kind folks that started the culture of the original store. But I’m tempted to give you only four stars here because you know the hippies in Midtown still need a Whole Foods store!The fish here is phenomenal as well as all of the meats which are premium and they’ve got great butchers here. The produce is exceptional and the checkout people are super nice and easy going. One of those places where everyone just gets along.

I love Whole Foods as a matter overall. This particular one has great selections. I am pleased with the local selections available, especially being vegan. I would agree with others in relation to continual price increases, but the quality does not lack. We love stopping by the hot foods section and always grab vegan pizza. I’m a fan of their hot and cold foods more than their grocery selection and it’s a great option for a quick lunch.

This is the oldest Whole Foods in Memphis area, and biggest too. The shopping experience is great. All the fresh produce, fish and huge meat section are simply good. They have a cafe, serving daily meals. I love eating there. On top of that their in house oven baked pizza! These are yum, almost can be compared with a good restaurant. The bakery section is another cherry on top, where I love their in houseBreads, muffins, pastries, etc all such baked goodies. Long story short, I love Whole Foods, period! Lol!

This is absolutely the BEST wholesome food market anywhere near Memphis! The quality of the fresh produce, seafood or meat section is absolutely outstanding! Cheeses, breads, pastries, wine, dairy & more! Fresh made pizza, hot bar...... perks for Amazon Prime Members. Will not disappoint

It was a typical Whole Foods. This salad bar was a bit ghetto though. Almost all the WF’s have switched dressings to industrial strength containers labeled appropriately and kept cool in a stainless tub. Not this one, there were the regular off the shelf dressing bottles that were submerged in cold water. It got the job done but…. The selection of dressings was subpar too.

I think I could just live there and never leave. I hadn’t been in there in at least 10+ years and it was like flying away. I was such a dork I actually took pictures. I felt like a kid in a candy store.

Just like any other Whole Foods but I love this location. Amazon drop off section is extremely efficient. Plenty of parking no matter what time you go. Fresh food selection is very good.Everything is else is standard Whole Foods market that you get everywhere. My favorite is their fresh guacamole and blue tortilla chips.

What the hell!!! Seedless lemons, now, too like Sprouts? What have you done to the lemons now? I said the day Whole Foods start selling seedless lemons, I would stop shopping there! I guess that day has come! Wish I could have uploaded pictures.

As a Whole Foods market it's ok just like all the rest on regards to the food they have everything looks tired and badly maintained its unfortunate because I have been going there for years and the food used to be amazing there but lately it just looks horrible the only good thing they still got going for themselves is the pizza. So now anytime I want to eat at Whole Foods I just drive up the street to their other location which is absolutely fantastic.

The last time I was here was almost 6 months ago and I must say, things have gotten much better. I know last time there were many many items unattainable for the store to get in. I was pleased to see some normality, such as a fully open seafood section and it was truly nice to see the prepared foods section up and running as it should be. I have always enjoyed the beautiful store sets and the high quality food which Whole Foods stands for. I have been to many many whole foods and called on corporate and have always had a soft spot for all of their locations.

IAN (E-AN) in customer service literally just saved this review. I had the most unacceptable experience ever in the bakery with who I believe was a manager that left me in tears on my birthday, today… but Ian had my cake fixed, was kind and understanding of my frustration to that person’s unnecessary rude attitude and helped me a lot. He even made sure I didn’t have to face that guy again at my request and handled it all. Thank you Ian.

This is the first Whole Foods location in Memphis. I love this location as well. I usually go here for breakfast or for my Amazon Prime pickups. Lockers are always clean and the store is always clean. Customer service is great as well.
