Pharmacy hates answering the phone. The automated system said I was next caller in line. They picked up and put me on hold for a good 40 minutes. When phone finally rang, they answered and put me back on hold. This is a shame, I don't get free medicine from these clowns. This Walgreens need to work on their customer service skills. Management need to do better.

My daughter had a Covid test yesterday and they treated her so badly that they made her nosebleed for hours. They need to drop the attitude and start caring about the customers. Thinking about moving my account somewhere else. People don’t want to work with the public need to find a new job. Don’t blame us because you don’t like what you do.

Worst pharmacy in the city. Possibly worst in the country.They consistantly fail to fill prescriptions in a timely manner, which is why they usually have long lines of frustrated customers.Walgreens bought out the competition, then closed the stores.I have transferred all of my prescriptions elsewhere. You place my prescriptions on action needed. Then you never answer the phone, or when you do pick up after 30 to 45 minutes on hold, you hang up. How is thos helpful for maintaining my health? Hire more people.

Location is supposed to be 24 hours upon trying to enter the store there was a sign posted stating they were closed for an hour waiting on a cashier: I called in the store and have been sitting outside going on 45 mins now. Walgreens is literally the only store opened at this time. There are 2 employees that I have seen so far for a fact a male employee who let a few customers out and then locked the door and disappeared and then another female employee who answered the phone when I called and let me know she could not guarantee what time they would open back up bc they are short staffed at 1am in the morning. A plain clothed lady also came out side as well and went back in stating she was a vendor . This is rediculoius bc the employees are there and get paid to take care of the customers (customer service)yet they are locking the doors and refusing sales and service.

This place is AMAZING!! All the employees are really nice!! A lot of these bad experiences are reasonable from the customer’s perspective, but if they knew what actually went on they would understand. I would also like to give props to Stacy for organizing the store!

Nothing new here but came to say don’t waste your time or energy going to this place. ESPECIALLY THE PHARMACY. Staff is rude and not helpful. Laquita is who I unfortunately dealt with. No help and just poor attitude. You can feel her life is full of negativity. Get it out of there!

EVERYTIME I COME BY THE DRIVE THRU PHARMACY IS THE SAME. THEY NEVER HAVE UP TO DATE INFORMATION SUCH AS INSURANCE CARD. ETC. I WAS IN LINE FOR 30+MIN WHILE THEY TOOK MY INSURANCE INFO.. THEN TO BE TOLD ONE MED IS READY AND THE OTHER ONE IS NOT DUE TO MY INSURANCE NOT BEEN IN THEIR SYSTEM OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. THEN I WAS TOLD I NEED TO COME INSIDE AND FINISHED THE PROCESS BECAUSE THE BAG IS TOO BIG AND IT DOEES NOT FIT THRU THE TUNNEL. I COME IN AND HAD TO WAIT SOME MORE. THIS MEDS WERE SENT OVER EARLIER TODAY. AS PHARMACY WISE DO NOT BOTHER AT THIS LOCATION. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Another noteworthy experience. I had back surgery & was off my maintenance meds for several weeks. Unable to sibmit my refill request in the app, I called as advised about my bp pill. After maybe 20 mins holding, an individual answered. They took my dob & name. There were refills available. They advised that their system was a bit slow. They asked me to hold on. I believe I was put on hold bc my phone didn't disconnect. About 5 mins in, another person picked up & put me back on hold. 33 mins on hold & counting. I Forgot I was still on hold. I hung up & called back only to get "the pharmacy is closed for a meal break" recording. SAD!

I've also noticed that NEVER is there any response or explanation from anyone associated with the WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS regarding these or the numerous 1 & 2 Star reviews, which often indicates either a lack of interest or disinterest in thr buying public.)I have taken all I can from this WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS. The majority of the time I receive a text that prescriptions are ready to pick just to find that, after an unnecessarily long wait in line either inside or outside the store. And, it's not that unusual for me to return when I've been told to come back and my medications STILL not be ready.Poor, awful, worst, unprofessional, uncaring, aloof, nightmare, intolerable, inconsistent...none of these words come close to describing multiple and unfortunate visits to the WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS. After i told the pharmacy employee today that I was never coming back to the WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS i was told "I hope you have a better experience at another location." Juan was very rude to me and other customers. Even told me that I broke “his door” that didn’t open. Does he talk to everyone this way? Seemed like he was extremely racist and prejudice and was looking to take his anger out on people that wasn’t like him. If you don’t want to be in customer service Juan, maybe you should look for a different job instead of favoring only Latinos and being rude to everyone else and having a racist disposition. I never initiated a conversation with him other than “how are you?” but it seemed he wanted to be rude to me and tell me I did something wrong when all I did was move the door that stopped half way. I was unaware it was broken until Juan told me and asked me if I did that everywhere. I don’t understand how someone like that can even have a job when there’s other people with much better people skills struggling to get a job. Completely senseless. This “kid” needs to learn a few lessons in life. Sad that kids these days talk to elders like this. And he did something similar to an elderly white woman in front of me.

Thank you All @ Walgreens for being so helpful for me and my family. Just yesterday Dr.Roy made sure I got my medicine even though there was some sort of computer error. Thank you all and I like the Police always being presence. It's worth the wait and I think the customer service is great!

I switched all 10 of my prescriptions to Kroger at Poplar Plaza. ( they are fast, they answer the phone, and are very courteous! It’s not that far away they WALGREENS has messed up every prescription that I have, they never answer their phone at all! They constantly put you on hold, and then they hang up on you! corporate will not do anything about it! unless you go somewhere else it will just keep happening over and over! I figure eventually they’ll go out of business! And I hope they do! Obviously upper management does not take care of their employees because they can’t keep anybody! They have lost hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of my business because of this! This has been going on well over a year. Do not go here!

The ONLY reason this place deserves a 5 star rating is because of your two associates, Ann and Sabrina (I think her name is? Long dreads?). They are the best workers you have there. And might I add, I truly don't think this large company should be having two women working the late night shifts with no male security or other male associate without a carry on. This is VERY disappointing and DANGEROUS. As we all know this is one of the only Walgreens in Memphis that is open 24 hours.I will continue to drop in and make sure my ladies are safe for the next few weeks, however if I do not see these women get some kind of protection working these late nights (in a HORRIBLE DANGEROUS part of town might I add) I will be going to corporate. It is highly dangerous and really a shame you would be these two women on the continuous night shifts with no safety, MUCH less making them leave the doors unlocked 24 hours!!!!Also, the last security guard that was in there a week or so ago had absolutely NO INTEREST in doing her job. She was on her phone the whole time not a care in the world.Get these women a raise and some protection or I will see to it that corporate hears about it, because something will happen. This is Memphis. And you cannot say you were not warned.

I have been a customer at this pharmacy for 30 years. I am both shocked and saddened at how poor their service has gotten. Several weeks ago, it took them a week to fill my Farxiga prescription. Yes! A diabetic without medicine for a week! The technician had the nerve to tell me if I needed my medicine I should call around to the other Walgreens to see if they had it. NOT my job. When I stated I would switch to Jardiance, which the pharmacist said they had no problem getting, they got 90 pills of Farxiga in within two days. SO today I called for another prescription, which they received 5 days ago, for a slipped disc and diabetic neuropathy which they said was being reviewed by pharmacist. NOT EVEN a pain med. !!Which according to Walgreens, means pharmacist needs to call the Doctor, who prescribed the medicine, to confirm he realizes he increased the dosage!!!! ABSURD!!! So the pharmacist told me I should have called the pharmacy several days ago and checked on the prescription. AGAIN not my job. We had a most unpleasant exchange. She switched me to a man named Todd, who stated he was the store manager. He agreed I had a point, it was NOT my job, but left me with little hope the service at this pharmacy would improve. Sad very sad. Feels like I am loosing an old friend.

Went to Walgreens Pharmacy today because Kroger doesn't take my son's insurance. They told us Walgreens did so we went there. Dropped the prescription off at 1, kept getting the run around, finally picked up medicine like 5:30. First and last time ill go there.

This pharmacy is awful!! They are so understaffed! I am trying to get my 6 year old son vaccinated for Covid 19 and they have us standing in line next to people who have been exposed to Covid! I’ve been waiting in line for 20 min now and there are still 5 people in front of me

Worst pharmacy EVER! Ordered refill on line Friday. On Saturday they had deleted the request.Ordered AGAIN on Saturday, they did it again.Ordered yet again on Sunday, the pharmacist had a "hold" on it, due to a possible problem with a medical condition I have never had. I have been on this same medicine and dosage for eight years now!Missed TWO doses, wasting MY gas, and HOURS of my time, due to their incompetence.They get one star because I can't give zero

DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED AT THIS PHARMACY. This the worse pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. Do you have 3 hours to wait in line or in the drive thru? Then this is the pharmacy for you. Do you enjoy paying full price because the person working in the Pharmacy does not know how to enter anyone’s Insurance Card? Demanding you pay $300 for a prescription that is $30 with your insurance. Then this is the place for you.

Worst location I’ve ever been to! The wait lines are long, the staff is rude, and the worst part of it all is how hard it is to refill my medication. One of the staff members yelled at me and denied my request for my prescription that I bought with my own money!

Worst pharmacy ever! You call get put on hold and after 30 minutes they will pickup and just hang up! Usually takes 2 to 3 calls and at least an hour to get someone to answer. Been going on for months, doesn't matter what time you call. Everytime I complain they blame it on the phone system or lack of employees.

Literally the worst pharmacy in existence. Always a 45 minute wait in the drive through line. How? How does it take so long for people to pickup prescription that are filled?! But they’ll call you 50 times a day to let you know your medicine is ready.

i refill medicine but here they work really bad..not nice attitude.. but the main problem is they always say no medicine .and nomore refill .. let contact doctor.. i took the potion they refused .to another wallgreens... they made it for me within 10 minutes .. no problem at all ..Looks like the people who work there are newcomers..those who used to be so cute and nice...these new people are very condemnable

Pharmacy staff needs to be trained. Apparently every other day at the current rate.Paid with Walgreens pass prior to pickup. Text message gives you a scan icon and a drive thru code. Apparently only 2 people know how to use the drive thru code since we had used it the previous two visits. They try to run a card again to pay for something that was already paid for.Pretty trashy parking lot with piles of used tires everywhere.

I called pharmacist, And one of the young lady i talked to was very nasty. She acted like She didn't want to talk Me, and all I'm doing is asking questions about the price of my med refill if I have five or five hundred. You can tell Me the price.And with her attitude I don't have to just go to Walgreens. It's a lot more pharmacies in Memphis, then Walgreens.Thank you.🤗

I love this Walgreens your greeted very kindly when you come in the store. I use the pharmacy more than anything dealing with certain sickness that I have. The head Pharmacist Kristie is awesome she will explain all of your medications to you so that you understand what you are taking. She always greets you with a smile she is a very caring Pharmacist I love her!! I consider her the best by far.

Cashiers are fine but the pharmacy is a joke. My last experience was the worst. My 3rd time visiting after they told me to come back in 10 minutes took the cake. I told the girl (who had yolo tattooed on her arm) how to spell my last name several times. I finally told her, "like the country but with an extra T". She still couldn't figure it out. I guess you don't need an education to work at Walgreens pharmacies. Oh, and she treated me like I was the inconvenience in the situation. What a joke.
