Found this place through facebook and first time i went there to see their collection of Discus fish and they have the best discus fish (quality and price) compared to Petco. I usually get discus fish from petco since I couldn't find any other place in memphis selling discus, but now i found this place so it's time to say goodbye to Petco 😉😬. The owner/stuff are very friendly and helpful. It's very recommended and i will keep coming back there!

Wonderful store with an amazing staff. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Fish are vibrant and healthy, and the variety is outstanding. Store is clean, well maintained, and setup like a professional aquarium. They have an amazing saltwater selection, including corral (which are stunning) and the best variety of freshwater fish in Memphis. Visiting R.O. Aquatics is a must for any fish enthusiast. 10/10

R and O aquatics in Memphis is the place not only to buy fish its a place to gain knowledge to raise and take care of any salt or fresh water fish, Rusty the owner always takes the time to share valuable information to get the most out of your aquarium needs ! I highly recommend going and chatting with him about getting started. My wife and I personally drive from Missouri which is 1 1/2 to buy and chat with Rusty!!

Great RO system set up for salt and freshwater ! Beautiful live plants with a great selection of fish and fair prices. Employees were helpful and kind. Happy to see a great fish store open up in Memphis.

Have been searching for a freshwater fish store to stock my new tank. Found RO Aquatics and stopped in store is very clean tanks are clean and not over crowded. They did not have what I was looking for but looked up what I wanted. They added the fish to their incoming order and bam 2 days later I had my angels , flag fish, snake skin barbs and I was so impressed that I had them order me some rainbow krebs. This is a great shop with very nice people who just want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. Give them a try!

Absolutely great. Purchased 2 tank (which he want kind enough to allow me to put money down on come back payday, payoff and pickup 1 of them) and I have purchased many fish all of which have survived. Date I have not even purchased a ghost shrimp with a horse hair worm. And I can find things that I can’t find anywhere else like a amano shrimp, lemon tetra and mosquito fish.Another thing I absolutely love is, if they don’t have what I want. Being a member of their Facebook group I can go in and ask when they place their order will they please (insert fish) and they happily will. And if I’m out of some simple, simple, chemical like prime, for example I can pick some up while I’m there without making a second stop.Another thing that I personally love about the stores that when I go in, I don’t have to wait a half an hour to be assisted. And I’m acknowledged when I walk in the door. And if I have an issue, Rusty is very awesome.I love that it’s handicap accessibly without hoses and garbage all over the floor, it’s clean and tidy. And being handicapped they are even kind enough to help me with the door both in and out with a smile. There is not a ramp, but if you call into the store, I am positive that someone will come out and help you in. The lack of ramp is obviously not their fault. It’s just the way the shopping center is designed.It is now the only small owner lfs I will go to not only because of the customer service and all of the reasons I’ve already mentioned, but because Fish barn is so petty they are slandering the store. What happened to capitalism and competition? Memphis is plenty big enough for 2 fish store.

Bought a tank, and some snails. Few other things too. Owner is knowledgable, takes the time to answer questions and actually cares about his customers and fish. Huge change of pace from the existing LFS in Memphis.
