I am so pleased with the grooming Simba received at PetSmart Winchester. His groomer Kenn did a wonderful job. His coat texture has always been an issue at other groomers. He’s a goldendoodle (F1bb). Kenn did a full assessment, and was very knowledgeable about the needs for his coat. She took the time, to explain some very important information about his coat, even some look fors after a grooming. Simba had balls of hair in his ears, which should not have been there, after his grooming with the other groomer. The last groomer he went to charged me nearly double what I paid today, and apparently wasn’t even getting the hair out of his ears. I will be back in the future and I hope the experience is just as pleasant.

I stay in germantown and I used to use this place regularly but I will never buy anything from this store again I sat in my car and watched the employee's cut open at least 300 packs and 200 cans of wet cat/dog food and throw them in the dumpster there is hundreds of animal shelters that need food and yall would rather throw it away than donating it that is selfish and wrong it's going in the trash anyway. Why can't you donate it I hope yall go out of business and get bankrupt

Always worth the drive to come to this location. Employees are always friendly and willing to help if needed. Not pushy or overbearing and seem to actually WANT to be there. Only need to go every few months but enjoy it when I do! 😊

I called the store to see if they had a product in stock. I had been checking several of their locations the winchester location was the only location that refused to check on the one product. Saying it was just her and a manager and the manager was unavailable.

My #furbaby, Willow, went in for his first grooming appointment and the gentleman did very well and was very nice. I trusted that Willow was in good hands as I tend to be a helicopter dog mom. Willow got a bath, brush, hair trim, nails filed, and teeth brush. We're definitely gonna go back to the same nice gentleman when it's time to get him pampered again.

The groomer lied as if my small dog tried to bite her. I took him to another groomer which said there weren't any issues. They are always over booked, it took three hours just to get him cleaned, and there seems to be only one person grooming although there are three or four other people in the back doing nothing. The one woman looks as if she's burnt out because she hasn't any help. I apologize I'll never recommend anyone to take their animals there until they can get their act together . Two or three hours of waiting time is unacceptable. Overall her manners where professional enough.

They take horrible care of the fish. They leave the beta fish in closed lids and also allow them to loosen themselves from not changing their water. They swim in their own waste until they die from it. This picture below was one of the betas on display.

Took my puppy Chauncie here to get his nails trimmed for the first time and I didn’t have to wait long at all. They allowed me to walk in with his shot records and took him right back. The first young lady seemed as if she was nervous to clip his nails but another young lady stepped in and everything went very smoothly.

Best doggie day care. The staff were really great about integrating our dog and making sure he was safe. He plays all day and runs in when we go. And the pictures they take are too much fun!

The sales associate was very helpful. He was a young Black male and the only employee in the store with a mask. I appreciated that too because I have an underlying issue. He was very kind and understanding. He took the time to help me and another customer. I was at the store at about 1:15 pm or 1:20 pm. I thanked him but I wanted everyone to know how helpful he was.

I did an online order for my Granddog's dog food the night before. Called the next morning to check the status and was left on hold for over 10 mins. I proceeded to the store, spoke with a cashier, and she retrieved my online order from their handheld kiosk. So that tells me no one even picked orders that had been placed online, which made me have to wait for it to be picked. I realize mercahnts may still be understaffed, but in order to survive, it's imperative that you provide exceptional service...period!

This is the best PetSmart I have been to. They are the kindest people there. So friendly.I got my Chihuahuas food there today and I got the wrong kind! Took it home opened it and realized I bought the wrong kind. Took it back up there and they let me switch it to the one I meant to get. It wasn't just that they let me switch it out but it was that they were all very kind and helpful to me and I really do appreciate it. I will definitely be back there. To the employees there Today...Thank You so much for being so kind to me. It's good to know there are still good hearted people in this world.

The staff is over worked. I know it's hard to find help, but the employees were doing tasks that should not be their responsibility and it caused delays in service. NOT the fault of anyone, they are great, just expect longer check-out lines and assistance wait times until they can find additional help.

We just adopted a young cat so it was time to pick up some necessities. I ordered them on-line Christmas Eve and they were ready for pick-up 15 minutes after the store opened the day after Christmas. When we arrived to collect our purchase, which was conveniently sitting on a rack at the front of the store by the checkout registers, we decided to stay and shop some more. There was a table with hand sanitizer and wipes at the entrance and the staff were wearing their masks properly. Everyone was very helpful. The shelves were reasonably well stocked of the necessities, clean and neatly organized. It was a surprisingly pleasant shopping experience for a large big box store.

Yesterday was my first time at this location. The staff was awesome. They were very helpful in making her experience there very relaxing by paying attention to her. They also were helpful in showing me where things were., suggesting what kind of food to get her, and suggested "budget friendly" toys (being that she was getting spoiled). The other customers there were also awesome with her. They helped me to see that she is also as friendly with other people and children as I thought she would be.Thanks everyone for being so AWESOME!

The pet supply stores have become competitive, especially on-line, and PetSmart has responded. I've found that their prices for staples, such as dog food, match the on-line discounters. PetSmart is certainly more price competitive than that other big box pet store with a similar name. And the PetSmart Treats rewards program does provide a small additional discount. I've found it very convenient to order on-line and pickup my order at the local store.
