We inherited a yorkie with bad manners. We love him and have been working on his behavior, but he’s still a biter when he’s at a vet or groomer . For a few years we’ve struggled with different groomers and me trying to groom him myself. I was at a wit’s end and tired of trying to trick him into taking his “calming pills” that a different groomer requires for him. On a whim I looked this place up since it was near my house and was amazed that Ms. Lee wanted to try to groom Lex without any medication. I thought, “Brave soul.” 😆I warned her of his grooming history but she was confident she could get him relaxed. And man, Ms. Lee IS A DOG WHISPERER! He took to her right away! And was promptly groomed and so fine and fresh when I came back a little more than an hour later! It truly is a huge improvement because he hasn’t been willing to get his paws and nails done until Ms. Lee so he’s going to be so much cleaner and more comfortable (he was always chewing on them due to muck building up on our walks). I was shocked at how happy he was given his previous grooming history! Thank you, thank you!

I recently rrelocated back to Memphis and had no groomer. I dropped off my Bichon for a trim, nail and bath. Excellent work. He looked fantastic and was treated very professionally. I plan to return in a few weeks. Highly recommended 👌

I had such an amazing experience! They were so welcoming, honest and professional! Amazing quality of work! My dog that I rescued was extremely matted and it was causing her discomfort. Due to my work schedule I absolutely needed a last min appointment! They empathized with me and my fur baby and took us in after everyone else told me no. I was so grateful and she felt so much better and looked amazing! Thank you all so much!

They literally killed my dog, I don't know how but they did, My dog went to the vet before we let him board here at this place. They called us one time and didn't answer to let us know our dog passed away. They should have called multiple times and left a message! My other dog stayed there and was so thirsty and looked skinny coming back. I do not recommend this place at all, so unprofessional, and killing dogs! I'm giving them one star for keeping one of my dogs alive.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I have to share my experience here. I won’t going back to Magikal hands because they did bad work on my dog. I went in for a nail trim and my dog came out with diagonal and uneven nails. With one even splintered. It is the worst quality work that’s ever been done on her. Much less important was an interaction I had with the groomer. She gave me a weird lecture in response to asking her if she would take care of my dog if she accidentally cut to the quick. All in all, she did not do a good job and I don’t recommend them for nail trims.

Ive known and recommended Ms. Lee for more than 15yrs. She's been my groomer since I worked the low cost vaccination clinics at Petco. She's absolutely amazing. She has a gift, magical hands is a perfect name.This is a full service grooming and boarding facility.

We had a great experience with our dogs at Magikal Hands Grooming. Ms. Lee took such good care of them. She really cares about your pets and puts them (and you😊) at ease. They look great and feel better and were not at all stressed when I picked them up. Definitely recommend!

What an amazing pet groomer for our Pomeranian!! Called & booked appointment, got info & updates on needed vaccination and our little one was in for the best grooming she’s ever had! My experience has always been awesome. They do an excellent job grooming my dog. He is a Yorkie and has very thick lovely hair. It is very hard to groom him. I have tried several places in the Memphis area including 2 shops in Bartlett. No one compares to Magikal Hands, she really takes the time and finds out the exact cut that you like. She even offers suggestions on cuts for your breed. She is very knowledgeable and accommodating.

My Bichon suffered terribly from his last grooming at Magikal Hands. On May 29th I took him there for a regular, simple grooming with instructions to Ms. Lee to take off half of his hair. She has been his groomer for the past 4 years with little or no problems. As we were entering the premises for our 10:00 am appointment, another person was also entering with 2 out of control Standard Poodles and stated that she also had a 10:00 am appointment. The Poodles were put away and my dog was registered and taken in. I did not get an email/invoice until 5:20 pm which is way too long for any dog to be at the groomer. When I returned to pick up my dog I noticed that Ms. Lee had a scratch on her face. She said that one of the crazy Poodles "slapped" her. She said that she grooms all 8 of the Poodles from this litter and they're all crazy. When she brought my dog out, he was SHEARED down to his skin. My Bichon had absolutely no hair. He was cut with the shears behind his right ear & had the same three scratches on his left ear as Ms. Lee had on her face. When I spoke with her about the horrible condition of my dog, her response was "he must have scratched himself". I've tried for almost 3 months to resolve this issue with her & her response was that her Office Manager Amanda was supposed to contact me. In 4 years, I've never heard of an office manager. On June 3rd, she claimed she would call me. I contacted her on July 26th advising her that I was still waiting for her callback. She claimed she would reimburse the grooming fee but I had to send her an invoice from our vet. As of today I have not heard from her. I posted the horrible photos on Facebook but of course having mentioned the name of the business the post was taken down. My dog was abused. I nursed his wounds but whenever I get his leash he runs and hides. Apparently she is blaming my dog for shearing himself, cutting his ear with the clippers and bruising his other ear with the same marks as her face was bruised. I would not advise anyone to take their pet to Magikal Hands for grooming. If there was a way to give 0 stars, I would.

My tiny toy poodle was groomed by Ms. Lee. The grooming was superior. My dog KNEW that she was beautiful. Ms. Lee warned me that after the grooming, my dog’s attitude would changed. I wish you could see the way she held her paw and looked around as if she know she was the “cat’’s meow” (even though she is a dog- LOL).. I love this place and Lolli loves Ms. Lee.
