This Lenny's is located at the corner of Beale and Main...a lot of foot traffic...3 yrs ago this was one of the best...in the last 2 yrs it has become the WORST.The meat is extremely thin..only wheat bread today, no provolone cheese, no napkins in dispenser (I spent 19.00) sandwich maker singing loud and beating on counter.In spite of my love for Lenny's and the convenience of it being close to where I live I will never patronize this local again.

They're fast and food is always on point. Also the customer service is better then most places in the city and the building is surely the most amazing of any Lenny's locations I assume.

I ordered (11:30 am) online thinking it would be easier and I could get back to work quicker for a meeting I had to get to! After 10 minutes around 11:40 am (when it was supposed to be ready) I showed up and the lady acted like she did not know where my order was I was told I would have to wait (I understand they were busy and shorthanded). I waited, waited, and waited... In fact I had enough time while waiting to write this review in real time. It's now 12:00 pm when I'm supposed to be in my meeting... Still waiting...12:05 pm update: my boss called and asked where I was...still waiting, everyone who was in line seems to be getting their order... What is the point of ordering online? 12:08 pm, I feel really bad for the last behind the counter, I know she is doing the best she can but there seems to be no order or fairness to this situation. 12:10 pm, still waiting. To be honest if I could get my money back I would go to Jimmy John's two streets down or Subway for streets down (after what is left of my meeting of course.. If I make it back). 12:13 pm: OH WAIT! Another worker has come from the break room! 12:15 pm: Still waiting, I do not think the extra work that showed up is much help...12:17 pm:. I think the extra worker gave up and went back to the break room... I'm not really even hungry anymore. The lady from the break room did come back though. 12:21 pm: My order was placed on the order pickup rack... No calling my name or nothing... Good thing I just happened to check it myself or I would have a 12:25 pm update. The meeting at work ends at 12:30 pm (my boss told me not to worry about it and he would fill me in.). 12:30 pm: I did not eat it, I got it back and it was just turkey, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. No: pickles, onion, banana peppers, or hot pepper relish (the sub was too dry without it). I ended up taking one bite and throwing it away. DO BETTER LENNY'S!

This location has struggled in recent months. Like others have stated in their review, the service is slow... excessively slow. I've ordered on line 10 to 15 minutes ahead of time only to have to wait another 15 minutes when I get there. Dining in or ordering takeout at the counter isn't any better. Amyway, my last visit looked to be promising. There was no line and only a couple people standing at the end of the counter waitng for their food. I ordered a chicken philly salad and paid $.50 cents more than what's displayed on the menu and paid another $.50 for salad dressing.Really? A salad that doesn't come with salad dressing? Whatever. I took a seat to wait. It was then that I realized the 8 other people sitting at tables were also waiting for their food. I also noticed that most of the tables hadn't been cleaned or wiped down and no one came out to do that the entire time I was there. I sat there for almost 30 minutes waiting for my salad with mixed greens (which they are out of and apparently have been for the last year or so).So, I got chopped iceber instead. If you're looking for a fast lunch, most other restaurants downtown can get your food to the table in less time. Also, pay attention to the sign at the register. It actually rewards you with a free sandwich for a 5 star review, so take those 5 star reviews you see with a grain of salt.

Ordered online arrived 35 minutes later and my sandwich was still not prepared. Manager had no empathy as I told him I was on lunch and in a hurry. I waited for the order to be fixed and upon receiving it the order was less than subpar. I ordered a15in cold sub and the sandwich was as flat as it could be. I immediately asked for a refund. This established is very hit and miss even with the hours of operation. Sometimes they represent the franchise well and other times not. 3/2/2023

We ordered the American club and cold Italian sandwiches. The bread was fresh and the sandwiches were good. They forgot the oil/vinegar on the Italian. Overall customer service could be improved. There were a lot of staff, but no one seemed to want to be working.

Terrible attitude from the cashier. Having never been in the store- I walked in to the cashier sitting down having lunch. Maybe she felt like I was interrupting her? I said “Hi babe”- with a smile and nod. There are 2 registers with signage above them. “pick up orders” & “order here” - I myself used what I thought was common sense and stood at the “order here register”. I stood there for a few mins before realizing she was not coming to the order here register and instead stood silently on the other end of the counter at the “pick up” register… Okay? I walked down to that register just to be met with the nastiest, coldest attitude. I attempted to order and she was just over it I guess. I politely and cheerfully asked if she was having a good day?- her cold, Death Stare response? “Are you having a good day?!” …..I was taken aback because I was genuinely being nice and it was clear she wasn’t having it. I cancelled my order at that point and she just shrugged her shoulders. Visited on 5/6/2022 at 2:07PM.

Came in here for a sandwich after working out. Service wasn’t great, as it took 20 mins to make one sandwich and the lady who came in after me received her meals before me (difference of > 15 minutes). The lady at the counter was great but I guess the folks in the back were not prioritizing my order.

Charming location, same great food and incredible service! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was made to perfection and precisely the way it was ordered. The tables and booths were clean and the drink kiosk was fully stocked. Wonderful experience!

I will give them this, the girl in there recognizes and knows most of her customers names. Some even give her a hug. She’s taken the time to notice that my order was taking longer than expected and checked on it and got it out. This place gets 5 stars just for her constant service.

The restaurant is very clean, but the counter attendant skipped over my order to make the two behind me, and rushed to make it up. I ended up with bland, flat turkey sandwich fixings thrown in deli paper. You're better off going to Jimmy John's.

Make it however you want it. Very good sandwiches on good bread. Reasonable prices. During lunch rush don't expect to find a place to sit, but if you go before or after it is never an issue. Great staff very polite.

The place had good food, but was very slow. It was the day before the Liberty Bowl and Beale St. (Memphis) was packed full of ISU fans. That's what made the place even better. The reason it was slow was completely full of 300 Cyclones (Go Clones). Good food NICE staff, very nice staff.

Samantha (Sam) is absolutely the best. I've been coming here for 3 or 4 years and she is always pleasant. She is great for business and a joy to see. She needs to be the Store Manager. Don't know what management is waiting for. PROMOTE HER!! Thanks Sam for always making my visit to Lennys a pleasant one!

My prior experiences were decent but recently faced challenges with order discrepancy, service quality and billing issues during last few visits. There quality has gone down. Poor customer support from both in-store and online support teams.
