I just have to say — these are well-trained and knowledgeable people working at Leatherman's. The young man that was helping me was able to provide ample details about the dog food that I was looking for. And, when he told me that they were out of the one I usually buy, he recommended one that was better and gave me the reason why. Then, he also had some good recommendations for how to get rid of fleas when I asked him about that. So, no wonder this is the only place I go to when I'm shopping for my dogs' needs.

Me and my family has been shopping here for years. I've recently moved back to Memphis and started back shopping here. Yes, they have some new faces but the same great service they've always had. I have a bully and a Shepard and was able to find products for both breeds with their help. Always been my 1st stop! And if they're out of an item they always get it in for me! Great place for both the buyer and animals!

I have been going to this place for sometime now and had little to no problems with it, but recently they have hired some very bad employees. When I went in they were more interested in their video games than helping a costumer and when I finally got a sack of corn, you could tell that there was corn that was missing cause it had a huge hole on the side. Hate writing a bad review but I'm trying to help the owner and everyone how visits that place.

Since we were expecting some extended inclimate weather. I had been calling the store for a couple of days. I went to purchase some straw for my dog's house not knowing exactly what time they closed (assuming 6pm on a Saturday) I arrived at 5:15pm. They gentleman were closing up for the evening. I was desperately hoping I could still purchase a bail of straw even if I had to pay EXTRA (Which I was willing to do) I saw the gentleman moving about inside so I called. The African American picked the phone to inform me that there were sold out of 200 bails in a matter of an your. While he was professionally communicating that information to me. The European American stated to me that "We closed 45 minutes ago and I wouldn't sell it to YOU if I could" which I thought was rude and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. It couldve been handled BETTER than THAT. I've been patronizing this establishment for TWENTY YEARS. I was appalled. #BadNewsTravelsFAST

The staff at Leatherman's doesn't consist of horrible people nor is our service horrible. Angela Moon's review is so full of hatred because her sons employment at Leatherman's was cut short due to the fact he was late all the time. He was always doped up on pills. Misdiagnosing customers on how to use certain dewormers and/or shots. He ran up long distance charges on the BUSINESS phone because he was calling HER. He took $200 in counterfeit money plus sold items that were bought with the counterfeit money. Let dog food walk out the store without being paid for. He always somehow screwed up customers buying cards for either ProPac or Earthborn dog food. Oh, while the mgr and his wife were on vacation, Tyler let HER, Angela Moon run the cash register. Big no no. Honestly, since Tyler hasn't been there, we've heard nothing but complaints from customers about him. So her review isn't based on actual experience at the store. Just emotions.

Stopped by today for fly repellent for my dogs and "voila" they have it! And I'm not talking about the measley 6oz bottle of Flys Off for around ten bucks but a BIG 32oz bottle of BRONCO for $9.99! Keep up the good work Leathermans!

this place carries ok products but what bothered me was how rude the employees are but mainly the baldhead white guy who says its his store, I even heard him cursing his girl friend acting violent one afternoon, i only go because the store is close to my home but after his last outburst i am done going and recommend you go any where but here.

Horrible place. Horrible people. Horrible treatment of customers. Would suggest never giving that horrible place any type of business. There are much better places in the city that offer the same products.
