It was the chilly weekend evening, and the Kroger was not much crowded. The vegetable section was almost empty. Maybe people took everything because of ongoing winter advisory season. The bread section was a little better. The fresh fish and seafood section was closed. Otherwise, everything was fine and usual. Kroger is actually my staple for regular grocery. And this is just another location.

Came here for the great kosher and deli selection.I was very pleased to find out that the kosher products were not expired and they were offering sushi, freshly cut meat,cutlets and chicken.

Someone in management please tell MiMi from the Drew Carey Show to STOP racially profiling Kroger’s patrons. I am a black woman who stopped in for a few items so I chose to use self checkout. As I was ringing my items up she came over to my register and first looked into my nephews car seat (he’s six months old) and then proceeded to take my fish from my hands and ring it up herself. This is the same woman with a foreign accent who was rude to me when she was working in customer service just two weeks prior. A different less classy customer WILL NOT be as tolerant of this employee’s behavior. Y’all better have a talk with her A S A P !

They are remodeling so its a bit chaotic but there are people there to help you find items. They offer low price specials and electronic coupons so between the two plus paper coupons your savings can really add up. I think the most I've saved was 43.00. I was one happy shopper that day.

I went this afternoon & they had so much in stock! Very impressed! I had to ask some employees where things were as i usually go to truce rd which i went there this a m & they had very little of what i went after! i called from my phone to ask for help finding things when i didnt see an employee but regardless i got all i went after @ mendenhall location! Everyone was very friendly & helpful!! Definitely will go back!!

Today trip was horrible I saw a sign say buy one get one free with chicken breast I put all my stuff up there and Barbbie or what ever her name was so ugly to me because they wrang up the chicken breast wrong she did the lower one before the high one and was mad at me I just put it up there and she really stop her line calling everyone over so I can't get the chicken breast for free .. like she said SHE TALKING ABOUT BUY ONE GET ONE FREE wHY WOULD I LIE ABOUT THAT . So at the end I didn't even get it because of how ugly she was to me . I'll never go to her line again‼️‼️ DO BETTER WITH HOW YALL ACT WITH PEOPLE .

I Have been a customer of Krogers for years but recently I realized Kroger has no respect or respect their customers issues. The customer service department is HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY XAVIER WHO REFUSED TO LET ME SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER TO SOLVE MY ISSUE. JAN THE MANAGER AT THE SOUTH MENDENHALL LOCATION IN MEMPHIS WAS SUPPOSE TO GET MY ISSUE TO SOMEONE TO HELP ME OUT. MY ISSUE IS I SPENT 2000 DOLLARS ON NIKE GIFT CARDS OUT OF KROGER ALMOST 3 WEEKS AGO AND THE NIKE CARDS ARE NOT ANY GOOD AT ALL THE 4 DIGIT CODE ON THE BACK SHOULD BE 6 DIGITS. I REACHED OUT TO NIKE THEY SAID SINCE IT WAS A 3RD PARTY PURCHASE TO REACH OUT TO KROGER AND KROGER HAD DONE NOTHING TO ASSIST ME AT ALL TO THE POINT I HAVE REACHED OUT FOR LEGAL REPRESENTATION I DO NOT HAVE 2K TO GIVE TO A BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY LIKE KROGER. SO I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE NOT TO SHOP AT KROGER OR PURCHASE ANY GIFTCARDS FROM THERE BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AND HAVE NO CONCERN ABOUT CUSTOMERS PROBLEMS THAT IS CAUSED BY KROGER NEGLIGENT BEHAVIOR.

Was in here at 7:12 near the front and I see two employees talking and pointing at me. Next time I see both of them (which is rn in the hair products aisle) the employee who was working at the check out counters 7 and 9. I’m not trying to accuse people but the one who was working 7 it looked like he took my picture without my consent. I want something done about it cause anyone else idk how they would’ve reacted smh.

It’s gross how often the food is expired or shows sign that temperature was not maintained safely. For your health, I would advise shopping elsewhere.

I will never go back to this Kroger. The few remaining employees are rude and unhelpful. The store always seems to have large pallets blocking the aisles, and foods that are supposed to be refrigerated or frozen sit out for hours. We’ve had to throw out several packages of frozen turkey burgers that were clearly rotten, and we’ve stopped buying ice cream because it’s often melted and refrozen. Large areas of the floor are frequently wet in the evening as a worker rides a machine in between shoppers and drags a mop behind him. Actual cashiers don’t seem to exist anymore and the self checkout machines malfunction regularly. My impression is that all Kroger stores have gotten worse, but the Sanderlin location is particularly bad. I never thought I’d see the day when it was more pleasant to buy my groceries at a Walmart than a Kroger store.

1st review was 2020…3 years later and nothing has changed. Oh, wait..they have more pickup spots. The service is still horrible. I’m not sure who the manager is but they feel as though they don’t have to speak to customers when you request them. The little pregnant girl that works in pickup is horrible. She has the worst attitude. They still take forever to bring your items out IF you even get your order. If I have 10 items, and you call me and say my order is only half done so wait to come, then I call back an hour and 15 minutes later, why are you saying my order is still only half done and can’t give me an estimate as to when it will be?? That is insane. This is the 2nd time in a month I’ve had to cancel a pickup order from this location. Another reviewer said it best, that they couldn’t believe it’s now better to pickup at Walmart than Kroger and I feel the same way. Even though Kroger is much more expensive than Walmart , I used to choose Kroger because of reliability and convenience. That’s no longer the case. I will drive a bit further for Walmart now.****Worst location for grocery pickup in the entire city. They are super slow (30 mins +) & have only 5 spots dedicated to pickup.

I just sat here for an hour waiting on a pick up order. There was no reason for me to wait 20mons after my pull up time for an order of 17 items. They were quick to cancel it but not ful fil it. No manager available to attempt to make it right. This inconvenience was unwarranted to say the least. I watched at minimum 30 customers after me walk in an out after me. I am completely unsatisfied.

Kroger - do not state a pickup order is ready, then upon arrival 20 minutes later to collect my groceries it’s not ready and cannot offer a decent explanation for the delay and not offer to make my order a priority. Very sloppy customer service you’re offering. Get your act together.

Starbucks used to be my favorite,now they have a bunch of children working who play a lot instead of addressing the customer. Yesterday I witness a redheaded black female she was really rude to a customer ,he waited and waited to get waited on and she came out of I guess the little restaurant area and she talked really rude to him. There was a black older lady that came out of the deli and tried to talk to them but no one in Starbucks seem to want to wait on the customer and the customer said he didn't have time for this he said because the little redhead young girl really has a bad attitude I don't have time for this and he walked away that change my mind a whole lot about making a purchase at Starbucks at this Kroger.

Rude! Done refilling prescriptions with Kroger pharmacy. 11 days of waiting patiently for a refill and nothing was done. Prescription was Then transferred to this particular pharmacy and the person on the phone was very quick to show her annoyance about a transfer and her tone was very undermining. ‘I don’t need to hear all that and answer my question( which I did 3 times), . What prescription?” was her exact words. After telling her 3 times what the name was?

Out of everything. I continue to be aggravated by the lack of basic stock in this store. Today, it was carrots, red bell peppers, sugar snapbeans, Quaker oatmeal plain, half-and-half, fresh mushrooms, garlic salt, and Buitoni tortellini. If you go to this Kroger, you better be prepared for the store to not have something you need.

This Kroger has recently remodeled adding much more variety and much more lighting! Employees are friendly. Wish the parking was better-it's a crowded location so finding a parking space is difficult. The pharmacy needs more help, there's usually a 15 min. wait

Some very helpful employees here, but what good is that when they're out of basic items (every time I go). Tonight's was a typical visit- avocados- 8 available, all ripe and probably squeezed by hundreds of people at this point. Dog food- shelves are bare. Eggs- shelves bare. Cottage cheese- maybe 10 total containers, most of which expired yesterday. Half and half- they have some! I have a worse than 50/50 chance of that being in stock.This location is typical of every Memphis kroger I've been to when it comes to the lack of rotation, or FIFO. They stock new items in front of the old one, resulting in the old ones not selling before their expiration date. I see this withall kind of food-yogurt, granola, cooking oil... . ALWAYS check the expiration date- they don"t remove the expired products.

Probably the best grocery store in Memphis, all things considered (yes I'm looking at you Fresh Market with your sorry selection of frozen foods). This Kroger has the most produce and largest meat department of any Kroger I've been to in Memphis. They will steam shrimp for you right in the store in a variety of flavors (lemon garlic and Cajun spice are my personal favorites).The sushi gets its own paragraph. It's really good for grocery store sushi! I get it all the time and it's always fresh and cold. The sushi lady is very nice, too, and will make you the roll you want if you don't see it in the display.The parking is terrible. There's simply not enough of it, and you're always battling for spaces with little old ladies in Priuses and distracted moms in Lexus SUVs and they always win. Do yourself a favor and park at the street end of the lot and walk the extra 40 yards. Your heart will thank you.Or go on Sunday mornings before noon while everyone is at church.

I've always loved Kroger and I definitely love the app. This Kroger is big and they have everything you are looking for. The only thing is at late night there isn't a cashier opened. You can only do self check out which I don't mind but when you have 2 carts full of food it will be time consuming.

Terrible wait times for Kroger pick up. It’s not efficient to order ahead of time with the idea of a quick pick up when you’re waiting in your car for 45 minutes. I’ve never waited less than 20 minutes.

Thank you so much to the lady working self checkout at 3:30 am on Tuesday July 30!!!! I had to stop in here before heading in to work and there was a man sitting outside. He didn't say anything but when someone stares you down in the middle of the night it's going to make you a little uncomfortable. Leaving the store I knew I'd probably be alright so I didn't say anything. This wonderful woman without me even asking followed me out to make sure I made it to my car okay! Thank you so much!!! It was very much appreciated!!!

Worst Kroger experience ever! I stopped by this location on my way home from work to pick up a few things. While there I remembered my free Friday item (a Butterfinger candy bar). After checking out at a traditional register I noticed on my receipt that it didn't subtract the free item. So I stepped over to the customer service counter. I took my phone and showed Joseph, the associate who was to assist me, a picture of the candy bar that I screenshot from my email. And ask if I had the correct item. He said, it didn't take it off your card so you must didn't download it. I replied yes I did, to which he replied " that's what they all say. I don't have to lie about a candy bar considering it was free and not the only thing I purchased. I've been a loyal Kroger customer but I don't think I will ever shop this location again. Might have to retire my Kroger card.

I like this location! They usually have the sale items on hand. I find some good deals as well. Good looking n wide variety of produce. On a good day, the people in the deli will make a delish sandwich with whatever meats n toppings you request. Great for zoo day!

This is my favorite Kroger Born and Raised for a while here in Memphis, and they hold everything. This Kroger is a regular size Kroger and its super organized with lots of options. They even have scan and go for your produce. I love this store here.Also, thanks for assuring WIC customers and allowing us to feel important. Thank you.
