This store has got to be the most poorly managed store in this city. They create long lines and inconvenience shoppers for No apparent reasons. A shoppers should have to stand in line 30min for a head of lettuce.....only in blk neighborhood .Southaven has 4x as many shoppers and I never experienced nothing like this at that particular store....just a sad situation for the elderly that have no choice.

This store never have workers at all the got this skinny black man in a red vest directing ppl to lines instead of getting on a register , I came to Krogers and only to 5 mins to get what I need and I stayed in line for almost and hr the last time I came I didn’t get groceries cause I waited so long I get the food in the basket and went home, this is the only Krogers like this and it’s not good business I know for a fact they lose money cause all you see is basket full and left

I am leaving Kroger today a very frustrated and feeling totally disrespected as a customer who is spending my money in support of this business. If I may, the business is Kroger. I feel Kroger is neighborhood profiling. Talked with corporate to ask about the seafood policy in place at the Kroger in Whitehaven. I was told each store can implement certain policies as they see fit. Therefore Kroger Whitehaven have implemented the policy of requiring you to pay in advance for seafood. I asked store manager was told policy implemented because of theft. Now mind you I shop at many other Kroger stores throughout the city and in Mississippi as well. I have never been required to prepay for anything. My question do theft only occur at the Whitehaven Kroger. Not only do we have to endure the culture of the store with includes employee rudeness, lack of and limited stock, poor or no customer service, lack of cleanliness, and the list could go on. I already feel like I am going to work when I go because of all the self service I have to do.. So now I am perceived to be a thief all because I wanted one pound of shrimp @ 6.99 a lb.

The Store is Clean.... Groceries are FRESH👏🏼👏🏼... BUT I DIDN'T GIVE A FIVE STAR.... Because most of the time the Restrooms are HARDLY EVER CLEAN 😮 I HATE DIRTY RESTROOMS!

Always very cluttered and a mess. Here is one good example of just a single end capFor some reason they never have all the self checkouts running and only have at most 3 registers open. Lines get very long and the wait is ridiculousI have also purchased food here and discovered later that the seal was broken or food was opened upon getting home.It is the only grocery store we have besides Walmart. Maybe I’ll switch to ALDIs

No self check is available. 15-20 people per lane. People lined up to the back of each mile almost. The cashier was nice. This store really needs to get some reliable hired help!!! Low stock in the meat area, the shelves and freezer area ALL LOW STOCK and not a Mgr or supervisor in site to help the workers out!! Whitehaven Krogers is the worst!!!!!

I have been shopping here for decades and I like the store and selection but the check out time and experience is horrible. They have multiple members of management that stands around when there is only 2 or 3 lines open. They should open a line to get people out faster instead of watching 15 plus people in line way down the isle!

Only at the Whitehaven location is there a "customer service counter" that there is never anybody there for customer service. If you're lucky to get someone to answer the phone, they just put you on hold and leave you there.

This Kroger hardly ever have grocery carts, smells very bad, lines are absolutely too long and most employees act as if they do not care.Some of the managers really don't care about the customers. Terrible security at the door. I absolutely hate shopping there! I would rather drive outside of my neighborhood to avoid going in there and I live around the corner. This is my first attempt to complain next I'm reaching out to corporate.

I arrived @ 10:30 pm CST, walked thru the door... The RUDE security guard then told me the store was CLOSED due to them not having any workers to check me out. I clearly looked over to self checkout which a worker had the light open for registers to check out. This is a PERFECT example of how our communities treat BLACK paying customers. This 38116 location never has enough lanes open to service customers. I will be calling Kroger corporate. The security guard, a medium skinned thin complexion black male, said, Well, CALL THEM!! Sad times in AMERICA. No respect or due diligence for tax paying customers. They close when they want... No option available to s/w management. The workers present never spoke up which condones this ACCEPTABLE treatment of tax paying customers.

Love to go to Krogers to get their fruits but this Kroger I have been in 4 times at different times frames and I have been in line at 3O minutes no sooner line wrapped to the frozen department or to the meat department with 2 lines open. That's insane with customers pouring in it's always a sad day to go into Krogers.

Man dead smack part of the hood why does the closing time say 11:00pm instead of 10:44pm when people were trying to go in and quickly grab things while we’ve just dealt out with an ice storm in the past few days that’s left us with out some things most importantly water! I’d think cutting people off before we can get in the door when it’s obviously not 11:00pm is unprofessional, unexpected, and Ghetto! I know better now to go to the white folks part of town because this just isn’t convenient

I was in this Kroger location on 5/30/23, and it was pretty busy. However, there was one person that stood out...Ahniya‼️ She opened her register, invited the elderly ladies to come over with care & pleasantly. The lady in front of me dropped one of her eggs out of the carton and was attempting to try & clean it up, but Ms Ahniya assured her she didn't have to with such kindness...something you don't see alot of these days.Afterwards, im thinking like most stores, she was going to make an announcement over the intercom, "cleanup needed on aisle..." but no, this young lady pause her register, and took the time to gather the materials needed to clean it up herself...👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❣️❣️She has initiative & character to go far in an environment where such mannerisms, character & initiative is so rarely seen‼️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Stay uniquely genuine Ahniya to yourself, especially in a time where such quality is rarely seen❣️❣️

If I could I would give this store 0 stars. Cashier's talking on phone while checking you out. Manager standing there and nothing done. One of the doors of the entrance is always locked. God forbid if there is another grocery store shooting. I have made multiple complaints about that issue by phone and email. The store is nasty. The store has really gone down significantly in the past year. I will never shop at this location again.

Curbside is a joke. Frozen section always empty. The ppl who work self checkout always have an attitude. Checkout is a joke too, always long lines and 1 or 2 cashiers. I drive to Mississippi store before I step in this one. I always see same 1 young man stocking no matter what day or time I come.

There was no one at the cashier stand . I got $20.01 of gas . I paid with my debit card and the pump couldn't provide me with a receipt. I was told to go to cashier and there was not one . Very disappointed!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! I will NEVER shop here again!!! They only had 2 registers, and one bank of self check(only 2 of which worked) open. ALL of the lines were literally all the way to the back of the store. I was in line, and was standing directly in front of the meat case against the back wall. I left my basket, and walked out. NEVER AGAIN!!!

My Son bought some ground beef, the log pack if you purchase this meat or any other meet that have to be grind by the butcher, check it thoroughly because when they are cutting it and grinding the butcher are not cleaning the machine good at all, there were white hard plastic, and other type of tough hard fat within the ground beef, so please check your meet very thoroughly before cooking it, and feeding it to the family or your self

If I could I would give this Kroger location 0 stars. I don't usually grocery shop at this Kroger location for various reasons, but since I was out that way last night, I decided to stop at this Kroger location to buy a couple of food items. When I got home last night, I opened a package of the cocktail sausages I bought at this Kroger location and the cocktail sausages had brown slime all over them, absolutely disgusting!!! I'm going to return those cocktail sausages right back to that Kroger and ask for a refund of my money. A matter of facts, that whole meat department looked very unkempt last night and the cashier was using profanity in front of the customers, very unprofessional. I will NEVER grocery shop at this particular Kroger location EVER again!!!

It's your employees that steal from you. I called to speak with the managers on as I got to the car. I asked what was the managers name because the young lady who answered was asking who was like who is this and to call back in 5mins.The manager name is William I was told. I was in self check out on the far right last register the lady before me was ringing up her stuff bagged her stuff and didn't pay for it . The light brown skinned lady tall that worked the area had a low blonde ball cut with a cap on with a pink sweat shirt with a butterfly on it. Allowed the lady at the register before me with the Louis Vuitton mask and cap with gray on bring the stuff up already bagged she waited up front with her basket and she asked the lady do she need a receipt the lady said no just go so the lady walked out and I'm guessing she's going to bring the stuff out to her knowing darn well she hadn't payed for nothing she was so scared she left her kool-aid packets at the register the screen showed her stuff wasn't payed for. She also was possibly letting a dude get stuff too that was across from me he handed her something. This is so wrong I waited around to see if the lady was gong to return to pay for her items she did not. I called back several times No one answered
