My problem with this store is that they never have anybody ringing up groceries anymore. Being a senior, I shop there during senior citizen's hours and the last couple of months or so, there was only self checkout lanes available. When a few of us seniors asked about it, we were told that we had to use the self checkout. Self checkout should be considered an option and a choice, not a requirement. Especially for individuals 70 and 80 years old Kroger!!! This Kroger has to be one of the worst in the area. The parking lot is filthy. I dont believe they have any hard working workers in the store...the few times i have stopped in the workers are standing around talking. The store does not stay on top of their inventory - I have picked up expired food items. The cashier rang me up for an extra item and it was an inconvenience getting my money back. I dont find the employees to be trustworthy. Kroger should be more worried about internal theft than customer theft. The store itself needs a lot of upgrades. The atmosphere is very uninviting. At times, there is also a slight stench when entering the store.

They treat customers like thieves like I was going to steal something. The next time I visit a man was angry in self check out cause they treating him like a Thief. I wanted to tell him he isn't the only one but he was fussing loud at employees at the front end about being watched like he was taking something. The announcement for security check every 3 to 5 min is ridiculous. I don't know if there having theft problems. But they target people making customers feel like suspects when they are not stealing this is a big problem and I ain't the only one who feels like this. Are they racist or what is it...

Security and management told me to leave the store. My dogs weren't service dogs. They are and you been reported to justice dept. First offence, 75000. Dollars. This isn't your first though. Not with how comfortable they were treating me like garbage. Truth be said, the store is racist

Cashiers all closed and they required all customers to self checkout ONLY.Customers had full baskets and were still required to self checkout. Multiple customers left their baskets and walked out of the store including myself. Had over $250 worth of groceries and self checkout would have taken me at least half hour.Get employees to actually work or close this location.

What's going on with Kroger's fooling people and keeping up with our purchases and make a drive specifically to get gas there only to be told no fuel points. I know I've spent plenty at Kroger's over the pass month. Should have at least gotten 20 to 30 cents off. And as I write this I overheard the lady in the booth being smart and rude guess everyone keep asking where my points then she says y'all can go up there and tell them to fix it so do you want the gas or not. Just rude. Heading to the store now to complain.

It could have been a better experience. They were out of a few items. When I was ready for check out there was only 1 cashier's light on and that line was long with big carts filled up. Once another register was opened, people behind me had the opportunity to be the first ones there. Cashier did not speak when it was finally my turn to check out or when she finished. 2 out of 10😟

Only 2 cashier register open. No help and the line down the aisle. If this was a white store. This would not go on in there. Kroger in the hood. So sad

Stopped in today and was very disappointed to see another bank of self checkout stands. Only one checkout lane was open. The checker was new. Twenty minutes in line with only 3 people, none with loaded baskets, in front of us.Asked twice if we wanted to go to self check out. Well no. It is difficult for me to use my hands, the last 3 times there was an issue at the self check out, one didn't work at all, the other two no receipts so I had to wait while I found an employee to change the paper. Actually 4 times. I left once without purchasing and went next door.We've been shopping here for years but it is less and less. I doubt I'll return after the fiasco today.

Dear Kroger check your employees and management about Uscan store policies .My issue is with you scan you basically become a temporary employee to check out faster which is cool by me previous Kroger used to have 15 items or less Lane now only Uscan No store posting or doesn't say Uscan how many items that you can scan in one transaction you have rude management saying how many items you can check out when there is nothing posted about how many items that can be scanned. But when they're short on cashiers they send everyone to Uscan . I spend $1,400 monthly shopping at Kroger's I don't have this problem at Walmart Uscan. the manager told me he didn't know the store policy on how many items can be scanned...chec 505 12/31/21 at 11:15 am 3860 austin peay.

If I could rate then less than one star I would. They’re rude and management is not helpful. I ordered items for my almost 90 year old grandmother and it was incorrect. Instead of them trying to help they instead kept telling me what they couldn’t do and her items have been paid for. Poor customer service and I will be contacting corporate. She shops there every week and I’m a patron of a Kroger in my area, they’ve lost my business for sure!!

The wait was incredible at the service desk. The manager on duty, Mr. Calloway, did nothing to resolve it. He said, no other trained person was on duty; when asked if he could, his response was he couldn't tie up his time behind the desk, he needed to take care of other things. So while we as customer waited, I watched while he walked around pulling off inventory slips. He had to be called to the front several times to ring liquor for an under aged cashier; again causing customers to wait instead of staying close to the front. When another customer inquired he again apologized, stated there was noone available & when asked if he could do it, he responded "he didn't know anymore about behind the desk than she did". How can a manager not know how to work the service desk; how can he train or review his staff if he doesn't know. He seem frustrated with us even inquiring. While I understand staffing issues, I dont understand not jumping in to help. I don't normally shop this location but a customer also waiting in line stated it is often like this and he doesn't ever try to help.

I come In here the other day for just a few things. Most of the items when I got home were expired. Really need to rotate your shelved items . I shouldn't need to worry about checkin the date on some yogurt raisins or animal cookies as they both expired in March of 2019 and here we are at the end of July . This is ridiculous. Probably won't be back because I can't trust anything to be fresh.

Clean and convenient location... Most staff is professional, helpful and courteous... However, the cashiers and baggers need proper training on the fundamentals of customer service and especially proper bagging... I'm tired of discovering multiple products ruined or crushed every visit because they are putting items together that shouldn't be !!!

I like all Kroger stores mainly because of their digital coupons and how you are able to use them up to 5 times. Other than that, all Kroger stores are lacking in one way or another.

Some of the YOUNG people need training in customer service. Was at checkout, young man didn't address me as standin there. After he gave me my receipt just for the hell of it I said thank you just to see if he responded and of course he didn't. The main reason why I stopped going is because of the RANCID ODOR. I bypass and drive to kroger in bartlett.

I love this Kroger's. The deli team knows what we want and how we want it cut. They make us fill like we are a part of the Kroger Family. If one of us goes shopping without the other, they ask where are we and are we ok. It makes us feel so good.Everybody knows your name, and they are always glad you came. I've been shopping here for over 7 years since it's the closest Kroger to my house. They have slowly increased their healthy food and organic selection. The reason why I'm giving a 3 star rating is bathroom cleanliness and availability - one stall at the ladies room was out of order- as well as the checkout line. I usually buy 50 lb dog food here. The young lady at the check out made a comment about having to lift the bag that made me feel bad about "bringing that bag to her". She didn't have to lift the bag after all because the young man that was bagging the groceries did it for her. I just think that the customer shouldn't be made to feel bad about an item they purchased. Oh. And please cashier ! Don't put my freshly baked chicken to your nose to smell it. It's plain gross :p

Store's interior is well maintained, but parking lot is full of trash. I was there the day before and there was a lot of trash. Doesn't appear that the stores in the vicinity care about the surrounding area.

They were all out of the heritage farms roast turkey.. the selection of meats in the "5 for 19.95" was rather limited.. I mean there were 5 different brands of smoked sausage with only one offering of pork chop.. I didn't see any beef or chicken..Still - the prices on most things i buy were better @ this Kroger than at Wal-Mart next door .. like bread, cheese, crescent rolls, hot dogs, lunchables..
