This store has the rudest, most unprofessional version of management I've ever seen. I've contacted the general manager and spoke with him about one person in particular who should never be in a customer-facing role. I also spoke to him about the deceptive pricing at this store. None of the people in the store will change prices even if the price that rang up is wrong. See the picture below. The lady at the register (she was still nice) was unwilling to even check the price and told me I had to pay whatever price that the item scanned for. This is poor customer service and shame on Family Dollar for allowing this to continue for months!UPDATE: I messaged Family Dollar on their FB page. The first time, I received a response and phone call within a few days. Concerning this review, I sent another message. It has been almost 2 months and no one has bothered to contact me. To me, their silence speaks volumes. It's okay. I don't care if this store is the only store open in the state. I will make what I have work and never shop here again. In fact, I will not shop at another FD again. One store has lost a customer for the entire company.

The one on on Thomas and Chelsea the employees are very unfriendly they got attitudes at least the women the guys are okay the prices of the items in the store are missed marked and you don't know until you get up to the front they are higher than what you see and when you try to explain it to the cashier she catch a attitude like they're doing you a favor very unlikely to recommend this store to anyone

The store never has enough staff, AND the manager for that store is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Why are your staff taking lunch breaks at 5:30 at night. This store is sad and pitiful. Lost a lot of customers today 10/15/2023. I won't be shopping at this store, I will go 25 mins out the way from now on.

Nice store, products always fully stocked but it’s a very rude lady that works there. She wears a rick James wig and her eye brows are drawn on with ballpoint pens. Loser. Rude and shouldn’t be working in customer service

Rude, smelly, unkempt, and vulgar employees and management. Used to be a good store, but has gone down hill, both outside and inside. Police outside due to high crime and theft in store. What about rude and ineffective management. NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE AND START OVER. VERY GHETTO.

It's a good place surrounded by a rough neighborhood. The aisles are clean and the management seems to care about what they do.The staff at checkout are nice.

On 2 occasions I’ve gone to this location in the same week & was turned away. Once at 742pm (July 22) and 712pm (July 26). However store hours posted says the store is open until 8. When spoke with staff they say it’s because they have to clean the store which I thought was done at no operable times. Other time gentleman told me “because it’s hot in here and we’re using fans”.

This store is in a very bad part of town of Memphis. Too many break ins, high thief problems☹️☹️☹️
