I love our Family Dollar store in our neighborhood. The Associates are always on top of their game they're always very helpful, and they're always polite. If you don't know where something is. All you have to do is ask any Associate they can show you.

This store location is always out of things and always have an issue with the price of their products. Sometimes they would have products displayed as one price and when you get to the register it will ring up as another price. Some weeks ago I had an incident with pricing I purchased an item that was displayed for a lower price but when I purchased it, it wrong up for a higher price. When confronting the workers with this issue the manager caught an attitude. He told me that the product didn't ring up wrong it was in the wrong place. I checked the price again to make sure I was correct and I asked the manager what was his name. He caught the nastiest attitude with me and told me I did not need to ask for his name and he wanted to know why did I need to know his name in the first place. I told him I wanted his name for corporate reasons. He told me I still did not need to know his name and because he continued to talk to me in an aggressive way I told him I did not want the items that I purchased. I told him I wanted a full refund. He asked me was I asking for a refund because he refused to give me his name. I told him yes, he then told me that he is not giving me a refund and to get my money the best way I can. I did not continue to argue with this boy I called 911. When they arrived at the store they told him to give me my refund that I asked for he still turned around and asked the police did he really have to give me my money back. They told him yes because if he did not they would have to charge him with theft. The store manager was also in the store and I personally approached her and told her about the situation of her manager not wanting to give me a refund. This was before the police made it to the store and she did nothing. I do have video of this incident.

I was at this store on Plaza in Memphis,TN. It was one of the worst experiences that I have had. I had previously shopped there for my clients and it was bad then. I was on my break and decided to go because there because of dangerous weather slated for later that day. The store was a mess, no items on the shelves and only one rolling basket in the store. I inquired about the basket and was told that they had been stolen. The cashier did not have any large bags. I said to him that he should buy more bags. He said that was not in his ability. I stated that I meant the store and not him personally. After I finished my purchased I inquired about my receipt. He stated that it was on the register, but there were several receipts. When he gave me my receipts there were others attached. He said that I coud do something with them. I told him that I did not want them and gave them back and he said that he didn't either. When did patrons start disposing of others trash. I will never go there again.

There's always some kind of commotion or conflict with the employees and management. This has been the third time I've come in this location and the employees will be discussing they're disgust with upper management. The lady with the blonde hair and tight Jean's with tons of makeup, I'm guessing is the store manager she's always discussing her dislike for the company out loud and with I'm guessing an employee from another store with pajamas on. These employees at this location are very impolite she didn't speak when I walked up because her conversation was more important than seeing if I found everything okay. Her conversation was so deep she rung me up with aggression and kept either dropping my items and money. She didn't even tell me to have a nice day matter of fact she didn't acknowledge me at all. If it wasn't for convenience at times I wouldn't even come here because your caliber of employees is sub par and frankly very angry and ghetto. Yes we're in the hood but your employees are a visual of your company and these people could careless about your customers or customer service. Except for the nice last in the glasses at the first register who was nice polite and very friendly and helpful. You should fire everyone else.

I need an understanding... Maybe it is just me, but every single time I go inside of any Family Dollar, there are always cluttered aisles. Just yesterday I went inside for dryer sheets. It took me a while to find them because they were hidden behind a wall of boxes😕. So I had to step in between those boxes and the aisle, kick a few empty boxes out of the way and reach over the others to grab what I needed. In some stores defense, some locations seem to always be short staffed. Which leaves the 1 or 2 employees there, working the register and restocking. Overall, that location was clean for the most part and the young lady at the counter, very pleasant.

Found everything I came for. Unfortunately, there was somewhat of a robbery at this particular location just minutes before I arrived. Some idiot tried to run out of the store with merchandise and was bursting into a glass door that was to be pulled open, smh. Almost shattering the store's door, the scum got away. Luckily, no one was hurt.

They always close early like 30minutes. I bet they still on the clock so they getting paid,do your job stop closing early. This isn't the only store that close early I've been to several.
