I really hate places where employees don't wanna work....Lady, you did NOT ask if I wanted to be checked-out. Why would you lie about something like that? No one cares if you didn't wanna serve me, there was another register that was open and actually working with everyone. You dilly-dallied until the guy behind me rolled up behind me after a few minutes. I'm fine with it. That lie is absolutely inexcusable tho.

Visited on 11/24/22 from Indiana. This store is much bigger, but the shelves needed to be stocked. Plenty of merchandise was still in the boxes. The prices are much better here. I found a lot items that were about $2 less than Indiana prices. I was pleased at that part.

It was a great experience. The store was clean, stocked, spacious and the aisle were clutter free. I don't know why I have been going to family dollar stores I guess because there's 1 on every corner. I will be shopping and dollar General stores more frequently.

Store is always clean and organized whenever I visited. Staff is very helpful and friendly. It will be my go to store. Their is always something going on at Family Dollar. People aren't friendly unorganized windows are always broken. Just a mess

Awful staffing at 3119 South Perkins today. I visited 2/12/18 between 4 and 4:30pm and the store was not crowded. Black male employee appeared to be irritated and gave short, non-descriptive answers to questions....seemed bothered that he was being "bothered with questions" about product location. Cashiers were friendly to each other but not so much to customers. I felt rushed and nervous during my transaction because cashier was on 2 registers at the same time, perhaps training the other cashier or trying to move the line of 5 customers....a mess, a real mess! Cashier moved to other register during my transaction while I stood there befuddled. This location needs training on customer service.

I've shopped at several dollar stores in different areas of the city. The Perkins and knight Arnold location the best in my opinion. #1 I was greeted soon as I walked in.#2found what I was looking for#3 store wasn't cluttered.

This dollar general is wonderful! I love it! I believe it to be one of the best in memphis as a matter of fact. It was soooo clean and they have a much better selection on merchandise. I seen thigs there i havent seen at other dollar generals. The employees were friendly and they seemed to have a sense of pride concerning the store, which was remarkably respectable. The employees were attentive to their customers without being an intruding nuisance. I will be coming back because its worth the extra few minutes drive i believe. Its in the shopping center on your right after getting off I-40. Its right behind a Church's chicken kind of. I was actually impressed and the ONLY bad thing is that its a little far from me . The store is filthy and there wasn't anything on the shelves.the manger wasn't there only one cashier and the store had a strong smell.

I coupon shop here regularly. They need more help,and seem to be out of stock on many popular items. Shopping here can be frustrating at times.

Some aisles was empty towards the front of the store the clothes section needs some major separation. The cashier guy was friendly.

I've worked in retail before, I don't know if it's the area but still that's no excuse but horrible customer service, the cashier had her cell phone all out, no receipt, she keeped talking to another associate just horrible customer service.

Store charges you more at the cash register than the prices on the shelves for their products and don't want to refund your money or adhere to their shelf prices.

At the Perkins location, workers are really loud and the music they are playing is extremely loud but other then that it was okay.
