This location is generally reasonably stocked and store items are usually in the correct places. Overall this location is clean and reasonably organized. The staff that I have encountered are helpful when prompted and not hard to deal with when I needed assistance. Unlike some locations I would recommend this one if someone asked me about the stores. I'm sure if better wages were paid the employee turnover would not be as rapid and therefore experienced employees could be cultivated. From what I have observed in these stores everyone; the store and employee; would profit from these observations and suggestions.

On February 19, 2022 some lady with dreds in her head that work that but was apparently off had the whole store in an uproar she was arguing with two young cashiers that also worked there. And the customers we're not getting rung up some left!! I went back there today which is February 20,2022. And she literally was talking about me and my son as if we didnt hear her. Its very unproffesional. Especially with the lady being an older person. Then the manager came out and she told the manager she been roasting people all day!! The manager literally said nothing and told her she didnt care. I myself told her that she not gonna sit up there and pick on my son. Something needs to be done about this. The only reason I went there in the first place is bc all family dollars were closed down. But will never step foot in there again. I feel without customers the store wouldnt be in buisness and she was very wrong. Management also sucks. I am just being honest bc sometimes people who own the business doesnt really know whats going on. Now you do I hope you would do something about it. I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels like this. Some just dont take the time to post their experience. Honestly I have no reason to lie bc I dont know the lady personally. Especially when they tell me I don't have to come there and that I can go to another store. 3636 Watkins street location. All hell is breaking loose there. Look into it!!

So I drop in for some stuff for $16.10. I give the woman a $20 and she asks if I have a dime. I have 4 cents. She says they have signs for exact change. But when she opens the till she has more than enough to provide the original 90 cents change. If you’re gonna bs a customer at least be smart enough to make the till match your lies…

Awful store. Isles blocked. Items not stocked on shelves. Boxes of merchandise everywhere. Super long line with one cashier and at least two other employees on duty. Gave one star because the cashier was polite and helpful and my coupons were good.

If I Could give it zero stars I would. The level of disrespect I experienced here tonight reminded me of why I rarely go to stores in this area. I sent my son in to buy food... we got all the way home and he realized that we had an item missing that he had purchased for me. Unfortunately, he also didn’t get a receipt. No big deal... we just left the store. He is a teenager and They forget things. I went back to the store and the cashier had him running back and forth to the car to get the other items... I finally went in because I was tired of the back and forth. He told me that because “my son didn’t get the receipt, that’s on him.”I paid for my items. I wanted them. I purchased them. He said he couldn’t help me and that he had a line. I said ok... where is the manager. He said come back in the morning when he will be here. I wanted my item because I paid for it. He hunched his shoulders and blew me off. I asked for the corporate number and store number. He told me his name Jarvis and the store number quickly...knowing that he was speaking too fast. I asked him could he write them down on paper for me. He picked up a bawled up piece of paper that I’m presuming is a receipt... probably mine...and proceeded to hand it to me. Said “it’s on here”.So we hand customers our trash? That’s what we do now?I expected more than this from Dollar General. Typically, I shop on Raleigh Lagrange and I have never had these problems. I’ve been in this city for almost 6 years due to a career change but this is the first time that I have experienced this level of disrespect.I like Dollar General because of the intimate store size... not a mega store like Wal Mart. Safe and multiple convenient locations in the city but tonight for the first time, I’m even questioning if convenience is better than good customer service...not even exceptional service just good.

Not a safe place to stop by after dark. Store was organization and actually clean. Kudos to the manager and employee's for the hard work. Friendly associate. Other than being in a unsafe neighborhood, it's a good store.

As an employee, the store has improved a lot over the past year. Our main focus is having a clean and friendly environment for our customers. Compared to other dollar generals we are at the top of the list.

Wonderful setup. Nice and clean. Easy to find items. I love the app with digital coupons. They are automatically applied to my purchase.

It never takes too long for me to check out at this location, but the store could use a good cleaning.. The floors look dirty and going up and down the aisles, the merchandise appears to be all out of place. Everything is everywhere.

You can tell there is a change in management. Now this store is starting to look out of order. Before, you could walk down the aisles without walking sideways. Then checkout wasn't good either. Line was long and there 4 workers there, one being on register.

They never have anything on the shelves never organized and clean customer service is not good at all the workers that are on the weekend are not customer oriented at all. They have phones out texting in front of customers etc. Please fix the issues

The place was organized. Which is quite unusual for Dollar general in my experiences. The employees were friendly and helpful. The store was clean.

My first and LAST time visiting this location. It's sad that this store is walking distance from my house, but I'd rather travel 10 miles and spend my money at a different location. The cashier was rude and the store barely had anything in stock.

The store didn't open on time my son needed gloves for the cold I was on a short-term limit on getting the gloves before we left I wasn't able to get the gloves because the lady didn't open the door on time the date was November 19th 2017 this is bad customer service and needs attention

My experience here was neutral. The line was kind of long and the digital coupon for bogo twix didn't work with with the white chocolate twix even though they are the same price as the regular twix.
