Customer service is terrible, the store gets robbed so much it's ridiculous. They don't go by policy for anything. They basically make up their own rules. Managers are rude and oblivious. Cashiers are underappreciated. Stock is always on the floor. Doors often open late and close early. I will no longer be a customer of any Dollar General.

I come in every now and then to get random things when I need them since it's around the corner. I was told by an employee not to come back today?? I walked in at about 2:35 pm today with hair dye processing trying to buy more of the specific brand. I had my empty bottle that I had bought from walgreens in my hand to cross reference in case I forgot which one to get, I looked for maybe 5-10 seconds and they didn't carry that brand at all so I rushed out (Trying not to overdevelop the areas that already had dye on them). I understand I was in a rush and I literally tried to say that they don't have what I need to a worker when I was walking out. I guess I was quiet or something but she just yelled over me "don't come back". I'm not tryna act entitled or anything but I go there kinda frequently and now I feel like I'll get kicked out and they'll refuse to run the cameras back and jump straight to calling the police if I come in to shop.

Two days in a row I've come to this location in two days in a row. The key holder was not here. Employees were waiting in the parking lot to be let in yesterday. The key holder didn't arrive until 12 noon today. It's 840 and there's a delivery truck out here with three guys waiting and nobody is at the store 45 minutes after opening time to let them in.

They are either closing early or not open on time. I pulled up 10 minutes past the opening time and they were closed. Two employees were standing out front smoking 🚬 but the security gate was still closed and you couldn't go in. I'm guessing they were waiting on the manager to open the door. It's a mess. The employees are a mess. Come on DG on summer, get it together so we can buy your clover valley goodness. Goodness.

This place closes for hours at random times. No sign , no nothing. Just closed. Like right now at 430 on a Saturday. Closed with no explanation. I've watched 15 cars pull up at this location for the lat 14 minutes. That's business that's lost. Why would you close at 430-530 on a Saturday.

We frequent this store alot. Today was not a good day. One employee checking out. The check out line was from the register all the way down the outside aisle. No social distancing. Everyone was on top of each other. The manager came out of the office looked at was going on and proceeded to go back in the office and shut the door. Just very frustrating.

I try to come into the store at least once a week today I got told nine times that there was no cash transaction only credit card. Which I understand the store is never stocked fully or even have fully and what is stock you have to dig through to find possibly what you might need I will never come back to the store

Its convenient. I like their small but stylish selection of clothes and they are for the most part affordable. They have a pretty large food selection as well. However the food items are over priced. I spent $80 on food one night. Yikes! Didnt see that coming at the cash register.

6/5/19 2pmI thought the customer service at this location would have improved by now but IT HAS NOT. The new guy on the register is racist. I noticed he only greeted the white people. The manager Paula has seemed unhappy my last few visits. She was the only reason I continued shopping here because of her customer service but I guess she's burned out or something. I'll give family dollar my money.

Cashier and manager did not speak when I entered the store but after I reached the aisle I was looking for, the cashier came speed walking to me. Told me I had to remove my hoodie per company policy. The manager stood in a short distance watching as if he were either waiting for me to respond or evaluating her. Dear Dollar General ALL BLACK PEOPLE IN HOODIES AREN'T UP TO NO GOOD. IT WAS 40 DEGREES OUTSIDE! MY FACE WAS VISIBLE FOR YOUR CAMERA! If I were going to steal, I definitely wouldn't put the items on top of my head!!

Terrible service to the up most, then you can't even walk through the aisles for all the carts filled with product. And the employees do nothing, just up font behind the counter playing on their phones and whispering to each other. Nothing on the shelves, oh that's right, they're NOT doing their jobs that's why...

The line was long with one cashier. She needed help with an item and had to go to the back of the store to get a manager. Taking the long way I might add. Manager came up and solved the issue. Manager walked away with line being long but decided to help out and return. I was the 7th person in line.

I absolutely Love this store, Mrs sue is great! Its not an easy job dealing with the people that come in. I've seen people treat the little workers so bad! The employees have even been ran down in the parking lot while just doing their job. Not to mention the thieves. People will come in, wait till the cashiers distracted, probably by a fellow accomplice, and grab stuff and run out. Its crazy. Mrs sue still manages to smile through it all. She may come off as sarcastic, but that's just her sense of humor, & if she is doin that with you, it probably means you just come in alot and shes comfortable enough to be herself a little, so yea, just cut her some slack. We all need to do that more often. We're only human.

The store was clean, I found the things I needed, the cashier was personable & professional but the beggar standing outside asking for money was unacceptable. Someone reported this to the manager but it was taken more as a nuisance from the customer. I'll try another location next time.

I was in the store #4111 on 12/7/2019 around 8:30pm and the person behind the counter was on the phone. She was speaking very loudly and using such vulgar language that I left my items and told my husband I wanted to leave. The employee saw us and just continued her nasty language as if it was no big deal. I won't be going back there.

I shop at the 4111 Summer Dollar General because it's the friendliest and largest one in the city. They generally are fully stocked with an array of goods. Sue & Paula are topnotch and very personable.

I called corporate on these people. Im hiking across AMERICA and came in all wet, granted I looked like a bum but only because of the horrible weather that day. I felt like I was being discriminated against because the way i looked (homeless). I had $50 sent to me at the western union and basically they acted as if they didn't want to help me so I went across the street to Kroger and they got me my money. If I had the choice I wouldn't have spent a dime there. And I won't ever again.

The summer Ave. location was clean, organized, and stocked. The employees were friendly and helped me find what I needed. I will pass the competition dollar store that is closer to me to shop at this location from now on.

This location is always pretty wellphd organized and during this visit I found something which I didn't even know was a product much less something available at Dollar General. I ❤ DG!

Bad custumer service the lady Sue is very rude and making face in your back👺, and the lady I think the manager she is alwayswith her bad mood👹 , they used to have very good people in there very friendly and great customer service but now 😣😣 but I'm not going back there no more.. 😔😔
