The store is clean, well organized and the staff is very helpful and polite. They have very good manager special discounts every day especially for meats like beef, chicken, and pork.

I am a FL girl, so I'm used to Publix. So it's hard to compare with my entire life and new to me grocery stores. Food City is good and friendly. The store is clean (not Publix clean, but clean). The prices are definitely more expensive than Florida, but that's the same for all grocery stores up here. I have no problem with shopping here. I like Food City *except no boars head in the deli at this one, maybe at others? Otherwise, I recommend it.

MAKE SURE TO CHECK EXPIRATION DATES HERE!Good price on meats and produce, great weekly deals. Bad selection (and mostly expired) of specialty items. Produce often goes bad quickly (even before expiration date)

Prices are to high at food city, and you have to buy large quantities to get a sale. They also need to make their sales labels bigger for anyone who can't see well!

I love this food city. The young lady at the counter actually noticed the turkey wasn't the right color and checked the date. She then ask a young man to exchange it for me. I ask about plants outside and she went with me to pick one and offered to carry it. Very polite and very professional! Great job! 👍

Guys in the meat department are very friendly and helpful. They have customer service down to a science! My cashier and bagger were also very friendly. I'm new to the area so I've never been in this store before.All around great experience but those guys in the meat department deserve something special. They are top notch. I will do ALL my shopping here from now on.

I love my food city except the hot bar! There will be 4 people back there and no one will wait on you! They will all look at you, walk back and forth, stay in the kitchen, make salads, clean, whatever. I worked back there at another Food city. I know how it works. 4 times I have walked away.

I absolutely love this food city. One of the only places around that still bag your groceries. Shelves are always stocked and the butcher department has great quality meat. I can’t say enough good stuff about this store. A lot of the employees are union high students. I can’t say enough how much I enjoy that.

The staff here is great! They engage in conversation with you (even the young ones!) and are really helpful. The store is clean and if you don't see something you need, just ask and they will help you.

Officially done with Food City. It's less convenient, but I will gladly drive further to shop elsewhere from now on.They are incredibly sneaky when it comes to pricing. It has happened to many times and way too often for it to be accidental. Things constantly ring up higher than the shelf says. Sometimes even meat that literally shows the current sale price ON THE PACKAGE will somehow STILL ring up at the higher regular price instead (and yes, I always use my Valucard).Today, I bought 2 bags of mandarins because the weekly ad AND the sign on the display said they were $3.99, only to get home and realize they had the wrong size bags on the display, so they rang up 8.99 each instead (also making it a higher price per pound). I'm sure skimming a couple extra bucks from each cartload probably really adds up for them I bet, so I don't see it changing, but at least it won't be coming from me anymore.

This store is great! It's always clean and everyone is always friendly. I may be biased as I work here but I love everything about it. Some things we just can't get right now with the pandemic but that's not the stores fault. If you ever have a question about anything, just ask and we will try to our best ability to help answer your question. I've shopped here since this store opened nearly 15 year's ago.

The groceries were ok. But the atmosphere there was off and the employees less friendly (no smiles or greetings) l. I definitely prefer going to the Food City in Rutledge Pike in Blaine. At least there you are greeted warmly.

It's convenient to where I live and the staff is friendly. Sometimes they run good sales especially every Friday and Saturday. They just extended the parking lot & built new gas pumps to replace the old.

Prices are way too high and their toilet paper the (small package) it's price gouging you have to use three rolls, compared to one roll a good quality toilet paper. But they have good service and it is a clean store. You should not have to use their card for a discount they should have it listed on the shelf...

Weekend two day sales were still in effect, but as usual, they already pulled down their sale signs. Other sale items were out of stock. Nothing new here. I've been at other locations where this isn't a problem, but in Maynardville it's always is a problem. I spent over 26 years managing grocery stores and this store does not prioritize in stock conditions(ie, their customers).

Always deals in different departments, this trip was for birthday cupcakes!! But I still perused up and down the isles looking for bargains and things I might need but forgot about. Plus, the more I buy, the more fuel rewards I could get and save money on gas.

Only store in town and take advantage of it with prices more expensive than the Food City right down the street on Rutledge Pike they're marking It Up On Us buddy and this is the store that says we only sell local but yet they took advantage of the transportation problem well forget the local there is no Transportation problem

Every time I go to use the self checkout, everyone is too busy flirting with each other, I do understand high school students need jobs but someone should be supervising them, otherwise a great place to shop!

Horrible service. Extremely rude staff. Bagger yelling and talking to a employee in line that was off. Trying to handle my transaction and this kid is screaming, right in front of the managerand she did nothing. Not to mention he crushed my bread and never learned how to bag. Could care less about doing his job. Stuff like this happens all the time. No management, uncaring and rude. Have spoke to managers, and the store manner and it just gets worse. After 830, go somewhere else if you can. Never seen such horrible customer service in a grocery store. Can't wait till anything else opens out this way.
