I ordered my daughter’s custom first birthday cake from Buttercup Bakehouse and I was amazed! Not only did it look like something out of a magazine, but it was delicious! All the people at the party raved about the taste. So fresh and rich! It’s rare to find beautiful desserts that actually taste good. Emily was so helpful when I was trying to order the cake and cupcakes. She was so patient and attentive, messaging me back and forth about the style and flavor.In addition, her storefront was so clean and had a homey feeling that made me want to go in a stay for a while! And don’t get me started on the delicious smell that met me when I walked in the door. I loved going in and definitely want to return for lunch, as I have heard nothing but good things about that menu.I definitely recommend Buttercup Bakehouse!

Buttercup bakehouse is phenomenal! The Service is great! Owner and the employees are always kind and welcoming. Everything that I have eaten has been exceptional. Buttercup bakehouse has made all of my kids birthday cakes. The cakes were beautiful, tasted amazing, and always delivered on time. She makes my favorite chocolate chip cookies. If desserts are not your thing she has amazing options for lunch. Chicken salad lovers will love her chicken salad.

Friendliest employees and lots of options whether it be cupcakes for your sweet tooth or savory soup for your lunch break. Stopped in today, and the shop was clean and decorated so cute for Christmas. Owner was there and very helpful. Everything was wonderful, especially the brownie! And our little girl loved her cookie. 10/10 recommend :)

I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t love!! All the sweets are incredible and so are the lunch options. I’ve driven there from Knoxville multiple times for lunch because it’s that good!! It’s the best chicken salad I’ve ever had. The owner puts so much time and effort into everything she does and has always went above and beyond for any cakes or goodies that I have purchased there and I have purchased a lot. I love being able to support a talented, kind, and hard-working young person in the community that is running a small business and doing it so incredibly well. My kids love going there for treats, and every time we pass the shop they ask to go! We love buttercup bakehouse!!

Easily the best bakery within an hour of town. Everything I’ve eaten there has been amazing. We have ordered multiple custom cakes and have always been pleased. Ignore the one star reviews from the one family who doesn’t understand what a comma or period are for. Some people can’t be pleased. Instead, pay attention to the outpouring of support from the community when a beloved eatery is maliciously targeted. Better yet, check them out yourself and you’ll see that they have the best food, the nicest atmosphere, and the greatest staff.

YUM!! Chicken salad, pimento cheese, cupcakes, salted chocolate chip cookies, cheesecake and pies and more.. I have had them all and every one of them has been delicious and fresh! Emily at Buttercup Bakehouse is our go to for all things sweet and amazing! Her cakes are delicious as well as beautiful! Absolutely worth the trip. Shop Local and treat yourself to some sweet treats or a savory lunch (or both)!

I live in Knoxville, but I try to come here as often as I can! Everyone here is so nice and, I’ve never had any problems at all! Their customer service is the best, and the owner is always helpful with any questions I have! Their treats are the best that I’ve ever had. They have a plethora of options to choose from like their amazing chicken salads or delicious brownies and cookies. Every thing that I’ve tried here has been delicious, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who lives here or is just passing by!

Best bakery around!!! Love the service and all the treats as well as the lunch options! I'm not sure I could even pick my favorite thing to get, but the cookies and cheesecakes would be at the top for sure! Having said that I get lunch from there almost weekly for myself and coworkers. Her treats also make some awesome Christmas gifts/treats for teachers/coworkers.

This bakery is the best! Delicious food! Ignore the one star reviews. It was a ridiculous smear campaign. They got together and gave five one star reviews in response to one alleged incident. There were just 3 five star reviews, and nothing lower, prior to this mess. The whole community responded by pouring in support! Now there are 35 five star reviews and the 5 one star reviews all related to that one incident. Best thing you can do is check them out for yourself, you’ll see, and you won’t regret it.

Best Bakery in town. They made my birthday cake and it was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had!! The staff is always friendly and the owner is very professional and sweet. Everything I’ve had has always been delicious! I highly recommend checking this place out.Dietary restrictions: They have had dairy free, gluten free, and some sugar free options in the past for those with dietary restrictions. A great thing for my family who has both gluten and lactose allergies.

When a customer calls the owner and tells them they found paper in there brownie I expected at least response of “ Oh I’m so sorry to hear that, hope can we fix this.” Instead all that was said was well I don’t know what it would have been. Then when offered to bring it up there and return the rest of the order she didn’t need us to do that. Like I told her she is a sorry business owner and she moar need the $50 really bad. But I’m not gonna eat her food after I find paper baked in a brownie. More power to ask the people that want to. Kind of amazing how she only has 3 reviews until the bad ones was posted. She is a joke!!!

God forbid you have a small issue with one of her products that could have been EASILY resolved. You’re instantly a liar! Even with photo proof, you’re still a liar. This lady has no idea how to run a business like this. When mistakes are made, you fix them!! And then has her friends and family go on and give her 5 star reviews when called out on it. Don’t buy from here unless you’ll be satisfied with the wax paper all in the food and the owner calling you a liar when all you wanted was reasoning. Instead it was met with nasty, hateful messages. My family is not even going to get to enjoy the products due to FEAR OF STUFF IN THEM. Wasted over $50 here!! Don’t shop here unless you want to WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TO BE YELLED AT BY THE OWNER WHEN YOU BRING AN ISSUE TO HER ATTENTION! Ridiculous 🙄 also keep in mind of when most of the “good reviews” were posted 😉 you’ll see the pattern!

HORRIBLE BUSINESS let’s start with Saturday when we got our stuff everything was fine and on Sunday my mother found something in the brownie. We get mistakes happen but when we call on the next day they are open the owner has very poor attitude instead of apologizing she just says she has no idea what it could be and says to bring it in before she can give us an answer. Mind you they wasn’t open til Tuesday anyway and when my mother offers to bring it in after suggesting a picture and saying all she saw was dried brownie it was our faults because we didn’t get up with her sooner and told us nothing else on Saturday had an issue HAHA poor business ethic and blaming your customers. If you have children watch your food from here because when this originally came out it was a BIG piece ! And if the owner is so professional then I don’t know why she took the time to block all of the family on Facebook so no one could see this gotta keep it secret too bad you can’t on google. Let’s correct Mr.Cooke there was 3 reviews on this page before the bad one not 7 lmfao 🤣
