Perfectly acceptable bbq. Seemed a little mild on the smoke. The mild sauce was very smoky. This helped a little. Add some hot sauce for heat and it was pretty good. The french fries were just standard food service. The slaw was a little strange. It may have been good on a sandwich. It was not a good side dish.

Food was good. Beans were great, seasoned fries were great and that jumbo BBQ sandwich was the largest I’ve ever seen. Very good BBQ and would eat here again. Service was fantastic. Everyone was very nice, provided great service with a smile on their face. Was too full this time, but next time going to have to order a fried pie. They looked really good.

Friendly Goodlooking servers, Nice atmosphere and had Good Jumbo BBQ sandwich and fries!I took a star off because I did not Like the buns, they kinda breaking apart while you holding your sandwich other than its Great and planning to come back and try something else on the Menu.

Definitely an old school bbq restaurant. Opened in 1923. Still has the lunch counter with the pedestal stools. Today was my 2nd visit so I had the ribs. They come as a dry rub and you have choice of three levels of bbq sauce to customize the flavor. Don’t eat too much as they have a large selection of deserts. I picked the strawberry cheesecake and it got eaten without a photo. Great service by Danielle today.Check out the parking lot, that many pickup trucks can’t be wrong.

Bbq was terrible, cooked in a oven with no flavor. Building full of smoke and no smoke taste on the microwave meat. Hot sauce was thin as water and mild sauce was store bought from a bottle. Please yall need to hire a professional cook. You could be sitting on top of a gold mine.

Food was good but the flies were unbearable. There's something unholy about the combination of trying eat your food while flies harass the diners. It might be rated higher if the health department actually did their job and forced this place to control the pestilence. They clearly are unwilling to solve the problem on their own or they wouldn't have flies all over the place.

I'm a griller and cook BBQ was not good at all.Really commercial pulled pork was over cooked like it had been frozen and rewarmed to sell.First time there definitely was disappointed.Was really hungry should have gotten a 🍔 burger.

Hold up wait a minute Best Freaking BBQ I’ve EVER TASTED!!!!!! This place is so cute. I love the old fashion style of the restaurant. Best costumer service and manager is friendly. Place is clean. Food is delivered fast to your table. Their bbq sauces are amazing!! You need to come to this restaurant!! They drive is worth it!! Trust me 💚

My fish was very fishy tasting. I couldn't eat it. The bar b Q beans were very good but the portion was very small. Maybe 4 bites. Hush puppies was cook in very hot oil because they came out extremely dark and mushy inside. Cooked to fast. !!My Pepsi was great and my strawberry cheesecake was very good but it needed to not be half frozen and was very pricey and extremely small lol lol portion. The price for the catfish Dr inner , d ok uble hamburger 2 drinks was a lil over 35.00 Dollars...I did give a 3.00 tip .. I wanted to give more but the food was not good and to pricey. Our waitress was sweet. But I as a ex waitress for many years , never served a plate to a customer that looked that way . And I always tasted a little of something that was popular I knew if the customer was receiving the best do we n home cooking that should be served. !Thank you and God Bless !!

Variety of dishes I have tried have all been very good. Catfish, cheeseburger, ribs and BBQ. I like going just to get away from the Memphis area. Anyone who has ever been in the restaurant business knows the daily challenges under the best of conditions. Well, folks, this ain't the best of conditions. It seems that everyone wants a paycheck but no one wants to work anymore. Give the kitchen and wait staff a break. I'm sure the ones that show up are doing the very best they can. YOU try waiting on tables sometimes. Been there, done that. It ain't fun and this ain't McDonald's! Good place to go, nice people.

Bozo’s is legit. Awesome staff, extremely clean, great BBQ sauce (I love the medium heat), and great prices.Highly recommend you stop in for the BBQ plate.I hear the burger is great and will try it!The lemon ice box pie is homemade (like all their pies) and was a 10/10! Sorry no picture, it got devoured.Thanks for having us.

Bozos barbecue is old as all get out. Opened in 1923, the place looks vintage early 1900s. The food and service left nothing to be desired. The atmosphere was unique. The still working air conditioner is an old Frigidaire, our waitress said it is 72 years old and it was still pumping out an artic blast of cold air while we were there eating lunch. Such a blast from the past. There is even rumor that a film, yes film was made there of a scene about a johnny Cash movie called, Walk the Line.

Been going here since I was a child in the 80s. It went off a bit in the early 2000's but came back strong a few years later, but now it's changed hands again and isn't as good. The BBQ is still delicious, don't get me wrong, but management could be better. Other menu items are rather lackluster, but if you want just a good BBQ Sandwich, it's worth the trip.

We came here yesterday to eat. We ordered ribs and hamburger steak. The waitress came back to the table to let us know they were out of those items. So we both ordered the bbq plate. It wasn't good. The pork had no flavor. The bbq sauce was eh. The potato salad and baked beans were ok. We kept swatting at a fly while eating our food which made the experience even worse. The only thing good about our experience was the waitress. She was friendly. We won't be coming back.
