Went to Publix yesterday after work to shop. It's a beautiful new building in Foothills Mall. The place is very clean and well maintained. It's a treat to use a brand new cart. Not sure what there made of but there light and agile. I pretty much went for the much talked about Publix sub sandwiches. I got a Boars Head honey glazed turkey and must say it was seriously good. Boars Head meat never disappoints on fresh bread with crisp fresh vegetables. It was made quickly by very friendly employees. They also had ramen, sushi, and fried chicken all made fresh to eat in their upstairs dining area or to take home. The other high point of Publix is the bakery. I got hot Italian bread that we pretty much ate on the way home. Crunchy outside and light and fluffy inside. Still warm out of the oven. I also got apple turnovers that are huge and tasty. Lastly an almond coffee cake that is phenomenal. Don't find these to often and it's my favorite. The bakery is awesome. The bad news and the reason I took off one star is the prices. Good Lord they are high! The Publix brand stuff ain't cheap either. An example is two 2L of Mountain Dew is $7.00. I can get three for $5.00 at Food Lion. The quality is definitely there but I cant afford it.So when I want a good sub or fried chicken I'll go in and check out the bakery as well. As far as groceries go I'll have to go elsewhere. I like this place and still reccomend a visit but be aware of the prices. If your on a grocery budget this place will break it for sure.

So, tried a Pub Sub, the Philly, and honestly, I was unimpressed. Not much flavor. And the line took at least 15-20 mins to get through. That being said, the employees are super friendly, and the produce is amazing. They have a wonderful selection of nearly everything, but it is pricey. I definitely cannot see buying everything there, but I will be going there for certain things. Oh, and the upstairs seating area (outdoor also) is pretty cool.

Extremely clean grocery store. Throughout the store, staff offers assistance without any prompting. The shopping carts are clean and not all jammed together. Other grocery chains make it difficult to pull shopping carts apart.I like their BoGo items, their flowers are of good quality. And everytime I check out they offer to help me out with my items!

Above and beyond excellent customer service. From the time I walked in til I was walking out, I received super friendly attention without having to ask or look lost. Fantastic freshness in the "deli" section. The Sushi was not horrible on $5 sushi Wednesdays. The bakery is heads and shoulders best grocer bakery in the region. Very clean. Meats are also fabulous selections. Higher end cuts and products available throughout.

I love the deli sandwiches here. Not many places to get good quality meats around here. Unfortunately it’s a terribly mismanaged, unprepared place. The staff clearly needs adequate training on stocking and prep. Also how to go faster. If there are more than 2 people in line when I walk in I just turn around and leave because it’s guaranteed 20 min to get my sandwich. I love your sandwiches please fix this!!

First impression is: this place is so clean. Everything looks amazing, it’s nicely laid out, and not overly big. A great option to get in and grab what you need. The regular prices are pretty high but there are really great quality products and the Buy One Get One FREE items seem clearly labeled. Lots of great options and the service is fantastic. Everyone seems so happy to be working there and I love that the store is employee owned.

The store as a whole isn't that bad. However, the deli is atrocious. I have always been told Publix has great sandwiches. Every time I go I am completely let down. They are almost always out of ingredients. They never have all the bread options after maybe 2 or 3 pm. The sandwiches are extremely inconsistent as far as how they are made. I had hoped that after they had been opened for a while that it would be better, but it seems like it has gotten worse.

I have been enjoying this new location in Maryville: very clean, friendly staff, interesting products new to me, and well stocked minus a few exceptions.I have been grocery shopping every Wednesday for the past few weeks to take advantage of their $5 sushi and amazing deli and food stations but this last week there were zero $5 sushi rolls when I was shopping, I finished up the rest of my trip and went back around again and still zero $5 rolls.I didn't see anyone at the buffet to ask about it either unfortunately, wasn't anyone shopping over there so I don't think it was a demand issue, just very disappointing as it was our weekly ritual. Other than that it's been great!

So happy we got a Publix in Merrillville. It’s clean friendly people just a nice environment all around the Ingles Walmart is just a letdown when you go into their store dislike Walmart because of the new remodel was not too fun of them to begin with you end up spending more angles is OK but the Madisonville and Sweetwater Ingles needs to be updated so bad it’s not even funny we’ve gotten expired products because of poor rotation just people in general they’re not caring about what they do for their job. Just show up for a paycheck at Publix in Maryville. It’s a wonderful environment welcoming nice updated that you don’t have to fight with carts which tells me that they actually care about their customers, and not just money lining their pockets and there is always a pleasant person there willing to help you bag your food. The last time we went to Ingles it was like being helped by somebody. that did not even care about their job was so slow in bagging our groceries put everything in the wrong spot had no motivational drive whatsoever. which told me he needed to be retrained if not listened properly then dock him in pay people like this need to be made set and an example. as a customer at one of these retail places, I won’t fast and friendly service. I don’t care if you have to fake it just don’t bring someone else’s day down just because you don’t feel like it. Also, when we were walking around Publix, they made us feel so welcome because they have free cookies for kids, and everyone was very helpful. Was asking if we needed help with this that or the other which is very thoughtful and as a customer, I’m very appreciated that I get to come into a place and shop and feel so welcome that’s not dirty. The bathrooms are clean. They’re working every time I go in and it’s a well upped kept store so I want to thank each and everyone over there at Publix. I know it might be hard getting up day after day in this world, but I just want to say thank you for making me and my family feel welcome but it also might be the grand opening of the store, but I believe it will keep up. It’s great appearance. I truly hope so because I’m going to continue to shop there not Walmart not not food city though I do not have a complaint with food city. also hate that corporate. Walmart decided to change everything around just cause they thought one store had a better setting and environment. but that’s one store but now everything is just so ugly and cramped. I might be one customer, but I did not like going into Walmart. Did not even like it before their new renovation. hey guess what if it’s not broke then don’t fix it. but it’s all about money not giving back to the community not helping out the children. Just glad we have a Publix. tired of shopping at the other on appeasing eye sores that they call stores. Nobody can update what they already have. Just add new junk.

I have the misfortune of being allergic to milk. Not very good for an Italian who loves ice cream. This Publix is a very nice, clean, new, well supplied store. They have avocado ice cream! For anyone who hasn't tried it, no, it isn't green, and it is delicious! I'm also allergic to coconut, which is what most dairy alternative ice cream(&cheeses) contain. So, I am very thankful you can find unusual items here. Also, someone from management came up to us and just asked if we found everything, and I wasn't annoyed by it. He was very friendly and helpful.

Store is immaculately clean and well stocked. I usually shop in the early to later AM shortly after they open and it's never overly crowded. Staff are also very friendly. While the prices are typically more expensive than literally every store in the area, because they keep the shelves stocked, it's a one stop shop for me to always leave with everything I need. Produce and meats are also good quality as well

Food selection is great! The employees are readily available and exceedingly helpful. The employees are much, much better than any of the other grocery stores in the area.... IF you could find anyone to ask a question in the other stores. I've never had any luck with that until I went to Publix. They are AWESOME!!

I am always so impressed how friendly and helpful ALL the Publix employees are. They always make eye contact, say hello and offer their assistance. That is exceptional to my husband and I and why we will always be Publix customers. Something that is so easy to do but seldom done at other stores. Thank you from a very happy customer!

I'm a big Publix supporter and love the subs but I doubt I'll give this Publix any further business. Today's visit was bad from start to finish and I had plenty of time to stand there and watch. With just two customers in front of me today, I waited 25 minutes for a sandwich to be made all while I watched a new employee struggle mightily with no supervision or management to be found to help him.Not only was the wait unacceptable but the food quality was sub-par and not worth my money or time. The bread was over cooked and way to hard to enjoy. The veggies, were of poor quality, my tomatoes were like mush! The condiments were applied sloppily which resulted in mayo and mustard being on the outside of my bread and I had left over cranberry sauce on my wrapper from the previously made sandwich. To top it off, I had to listen to the new guy discuss his adventure the night before which involved him talking about playing with his knife and cutting his hands. He described waking up with bloody hands. Both employees I encountered where kind and respectful young men but it's clear that they needed help, supervision, and a plan. You're new design is very inefficient as the employees were continuously leaving to go get supplies or taking online food to customer service for pick up.As much as I love Publix, this one might have made this my last visit. I could never recommend this to anyone.

The store is nice and laid out very well. Product selection was lacking, and product sections were small in comparison to their competitors. Prices "seemed " higher, more of a convenience store feel. It would not be my go-to store, but I would shop there for convenience. I guess I have been spoiled by the superstores. Cashier was very friendly, which is always a great experience.

Not a great experience with the deli. Everyone seemed overwhelmed, and the worker kept walking away in the middle of making my sandwiches to help other customers and employees, and then proceeded to put the wrong toppings on the multiple sandwiches I was getting for my coworkers. This place has potential, it seems like they need help in that department, or some kind of better managing.

The associates here are so nice and very helpful! Publix has everything you would ever want! If they don't have it, I'm sure they would go to great lengths to get it for you! I love Publix!

Very clean, great products, and friendly staff. I love that Publix does not sell any APEEL items and let's us know, unlike other "health" stores (W-F) that do not. They are honest about their products, and I would pay a little more to support that and get better quality food. Publix always has a Kombucha brand on sale and sells Boars Head Hummus 😋

It was very busy, but considering the newness has not worn out yet the employees at the register were quick and efficient. Store layout, stock, etc, was really nice and streamline. I also got some in-store made sushi for lunch while I was there. That's the only thing that I wouldn't waste my money on again. It was good, but nothing to write home about.

Love Publix and been a loyal shopper for 30+ years. Was so happy when they opened the stores nearer to me in East TN.However and as is already typical of Kroger?Publix (Pigeon Forge and now Foothills mall too!) has sales but they under-stock the stores with sale items too. So when you drive all the way to either store just to grab a few sale items? It’s a crapshoot on whether or not those items will be in stock, even on day ONE of the sale. Just happened again this past week with their Cabot vanilla yogurt. Not a one on the shelf and when a rep checked for us! They had none in the back either. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Everyone has been so nice to me. The store is very clean and a pleasant place to shop. One time I ran in there with just 10 mins to closing, and the workers didn't act at all grumpy with me that I came in right before closing. It was wonderful.

I am always greeted when I walk in. The store is always well kept and very clean. They actually have many lanes open where you have someone checking you out. I can always find someone if I have a question. Publix employees seem very well trained and happy, which makes me happy!!

Four employees at the bakery and no one acknowledged me. When I said "excuse me" to grab one employees attention, they looked back at me like I just ruined their day, so I told them nevermind, it looks like you are in a hurry, and left to go to Kroger. Bought a delicious cake, was nicely greeted at Kroger, and got the birthday cake I needed, along with other items. Publix service was pretty disappointing to me.

There are plenty of good sandwich spots locally, Publix is not one of them. The Publix Deli is horrifically mismanaged and disrespectful to customers and their time. I showed up after work to get a chicken tender sub, store was not busy, just 1 other person in line, i ask for my sub and they tell me it will be a few minutes they're making new tenders right now, so I say sure, I can wait a few minutes for fresh hot chicken sounds good to me.... No, this is where the problems began, after 15 minutes of waiting the chicken finally comes out and what do the employees do? they, right in front of me, start making online orders using the chicken completely ignoring me, the customer that's been standing there for nearly 20 minutes now, in favor of an order on a piece of paper for someone who may or may not even be on location. I feel incredibly disrespected by this and will not be returning to publix again. And no, I never did get my sandwich.

We are so happy Publix has finally opened in Maryville. Their produce, especially berries, are so much fresher than Kroger's. Prices are a little higher for certain items, which we will still get at Kroger's, but overall a better value. If you take advantage of their "buy one get one free" you can really save, so hopefully these continue and weren't just made more plentiful for their grand opening. Staff at this store are very friendly and welcoming, but in fairness, must see if that is still the case 6 months into their opening. So far a great experience!

Not quiet Fla excellence. Some things I wanted they don't carry, most things are really good. I just felt the chages they mDe, I did not like. Ex: the deli sandwiches. I gave yet to get one made, and only occasionally will I get a pre-made one for work. 😞

Great choice of items. Awesome employees. Watch your receipt, however. I bought 2 Johnsonville products that clearly marked $6.99 but was charged $7.68. Pennies make dollars.

This store opened in October. The deli is right as you walk in the door. There is always a line at the sub shop. This Publix has food and drinks to go right near the deli. Want a quick lunch? Publix is the place to go. Need it ready when you arrive, use the Publix app to order ahead. While you are there, walk through the store. You will love it. Bakery is in the back corner!

During my recent visit to the new local Publix Supermarket in Maryville the store's tidiness was immediately striking. The cleanliness standards were top-notch, with spotless floors and well-kept shelves, which made for a very pleasant shopping atmosphere. It's clear that Publix prioritizes creating a hygienic and orderly environment for its customers. The staff at this Publix location were a highlight, exemplifying customer service at its best. They were amicable, eager to assist, and their attentiveness added significantly to the overall shopping experience. It's the kind of service that makes you feel valued as a customer and willing to return. While I appreciated the store's neatness and the staff's dedication, I was surprised by the store's compact size. Despite being part of a large supermarket chain known for spacious stores, this Publix was quite small. Although the selection of products was satisfactory, the limited space did mean that the variety, particularly in certain categories, wasn't as extensive as what one might find in larger supermarkets. It's also worth noting that shopping at Publix can come with a higher price tag compared to your average grocery store. The prices here are a bit more premium, which might influence your budget if you're used to the pricing at other local competitors. For those looking to save, I recommend keeping an eye on weekly specials and using the Publix loyalty card to take advantage of discounts and deals, or head to Krogers.

10/10 would recommend getting a Publix cookie cake for any party! Publix cookie cakes taste exactly like ones from Great American Cookie Company except a Publix cookie cake is better because it is thicker and half the price.
