Writing regarding recent experience with the Kroger Pharmacy located in Maryville, Tennessee.I was subjected to unfair treatment and an unjust reckless behavior, which has caused significant distress and inconvenience.I had contacted the Kroger Pharmacy on three separate occasions via phone to inquire about the reason behind the refusal to fill my prescription. Unfortunately, each time I reached out, I met with evasive responses and was unable to obtain a satisfactory explanation for the decision taken by your pharmacy. Consequently, I decided to visit the pharmacy in person to seek clarification.During the visit, I spoke with a junior male pharmacist who, without any legal authority or valid reason, insisted that he would not fill the prescribed medication unless I agreed to fill an unrelated medication?! It is important to note that this requirement is not only unfounded but also contrary to the principles of ethical and professional conduct expected from a licensed pharmacist and against state and federal law.When I informed the pharmacist that I had transferred the unrelated medication to a different pharmacy, I was met with an inappropriate and unprofessional response. The pharmacist, seemingly hurt by my comment (I disliked the pharmacy and he was to sensitive to be a pharmacist) ,refused to refill the medication that had been prescribed by my doctor a full ten days earlier!Denying a patient their prescribed medication based on personal feelings or perceived offenses goes against the fundamental duty of a pharmacist to prioritize their patients' well-being.This conduct displayed by this pharmacy is not only unprofessional but also violates my rights as a patient. It is imperative that every customer stay away from this pharmacy until:1. Kroger Executives takes appropriate disciplinary measures against the pharmacists involved in this incident, to adhere with professional standards and the safety of their customers.2. Executives shut this location down to avoid harming customes with reckless behavior; by implementing necessary training programs and legal guidelines for this pharmacy staff to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, emphasizing the importance of professionalism, patient-centered care, and adherence to legal and ethical obligations.

The staff is friendly and kind. The produce is fresh and the meats are a good quality. They have a sushi bar in this location next to the Starbucks. There’s also a small bar to get some beverages while shopping if you want to. I recommend this location. I definitely recommend getting a Kroger card so you can earn points and save money.

They really need more help in the deli dept. it takes entirely way longer than it should to get deli meat and cheese. Unacceptable !!!!!!Updating this review, the grapes I bought.I checked them by looking around the outside of the package before purchasing them. Only when I open them at home I find hidden in the middle was grapes with mold on them. Again totally unacceptable. Will be looking for a better place to do my grocery shopping

This Kroger amazed me. I have never seen one like this. This location sells clothes and shoes and sushi all under one roof. This is a Super Kroger 😍. They literally sell anything that you need. I wish there were more Krogers like this. We need one of these in Georgia, please.

Today I had an issue removing the cork from a bottle of champagne I’d purchased earlier today. Lexi, Andrew and Taylor came to my rescue, and went above and beyond to help me find a bottle that would open. They are incredible people, and a huge asset to your company! -Jess

They are always out of 3-4 things I need. Today they were out of the 1st 2 items on my list, grapes and bags of salad. I left, will be glad when Publix opens next door, that’s poor management as it has been this way since they opened

This Krogers and others have really gone down. The produce is overripe and does not last long, and is very expensive. The digital coupons don't work correctly most of the time, and the cashiers are unwilling or don't have the knowledge to fix it. Every time I go here, I get aggravated with something. I have started going to Publix next door more often and will continue to do that because of the problems I have shopping here.

Edit: Bathrooms are still atrocious, not sure who manages those( maybe Starbucks), but one Kroger employee there goes out of her way to ask if we need help; what seems like almost every time we’re there. Job well done on her part.When you all first opened I was highly impressed with the cleanliness of the store. I actually enjoyed coming to the store to look for groceries and shop. It felt as if we finally had a quality place to shop for groceries and personal care, but this year we have seen a quick decline in the cleanliness and tidiness of the store. Furthermore, a clean bathroom speaks volumes, but they become so trashy people just walk in and walk back out in disgust. The bathrooms really should be cleaned thoroughly throughout the day. I’ve took the liberty to attach some photos below. Would have taken more, but I think these are sufficient; thanks.

this location consistently locks their IN doors and puts a sign in front of them, so it looks like they are closed at 9 pm. You have to go through the out doors and the employees will ignore you. Tonight they all stood in the little entrance, blocking it talking and wouldn't move.Their pick up is also terrible. I have had multiple times been given rotten fruit or the wrong item.

Ordinarily I would not review a grocery store but this Kroger is a hidden gem for one reason. SUSHI. This Kroger has a sushi restaurant in it that's second to none. They have very skilled and talented sushi chefs. It's always fresh and absolutely top notch. They create traditional raw and cooked sushi. We always get a chef's special because once again the skill level is high. The crab and cream cheese & shrimp with guacamole is outstanding! This place is equal and in many cases above most sushi restaurants in Maryville. They do a great job and Kroger should be proud of this department. This Kroger is a great store with good selection. They have awesome seafood selection. Very fresh snow & king crab. If you like sushi and to cook your own seafood this is the store for you.

It is hard to give Kroger less than 4 stars because they do so much so well but this location has a serious problem with their computer systems. On any given day, their fuel points system or their register will randomly not work as expected. Any time this location says you don't have fuel points or it rejects your Kroger CC, simply drive 3 miles to the other Kroger and everything will work. Of course, the lady managing the self service (this morning - Fri 11/10/23) has an attitude so getting her involved usually makes the situation worse.

I like most Kroger stores, and this one is among the best. From their bar, to the beer and wine, the well stocked produce department and the excellent butcher section it has most everything I want in a grocery store. Plus pretty decent prices. And great custom products like cranberry celebration.

My sister and niece went to the store today and her bill was higher than she expected and she KINDLY asked the cashier to remove some items. He told her “Maybe you should’ve budgeted better”, really loud and followed up by saying she should’ve “thought about her finances before having her daughter”. Just because you see a woman out with her child without her HUSBAND in that moment does NOT mean she’s a single mother! And it does not matter! How dare you!Kroger you ought to be ashamed of the person you have employed there!!! What an idiot!

Usually this store is good. Had the rudest cashier today ever! The one with blue hair. She was so busy bossing people around while ringing my order up she hardly acknowledged I was in front of her. Finished my order shoved my receipt to me and started telling people what to do without saying a word to me. Won't be returning.

I love the store itself and most importantly what they stock and the price point, but I'm almost to the point I'll be done with Kroger completely. Customer service here is very bad and Kroger corporate doesn't care. I've complained several times and they don't care either. Corporate has horrible service so I guess I can't expect better from a location. Very sad because I love and value Kroger otherwise. Just recently I came in in the evening and only one employee acknowledged my existence (the others were all standing around doing nothing but laughing and wasting paid time) and helped me. I wish I had his name because he was so kind and did a fantastic job, but I doubt Kroger cares either way. Sad.

I visited the foothills Kroger today with a first stop at the Deli section. There were several waiting in line for service and only one person actually waiting on customers. However, there was another employee behind the counter with a mouthful of food chewing away. She finally finished her food and spent a long time trying to find gloves to put on. When she did she put them on and came to take my order without washing her hands first. she made it pretty clear that she was not happy to be there waiting on customers. I also noticed that while cutting the deli meat with the slicer she moved the pushing device out of the way and used her hand to hold the meet while slicing. Great way to lose a finger tip. I can't wait till Publix opens up next door. When people see what real customer service is like Kroger will lose a ton of business.

Thank goodness Publix is about to open in Maryville. This morning I arrive at Maryville Kroger at 5:50am. At 6am employee opens door without a greeting.I shop for 45 minutes, gathering $200 worth of groceries, and make my way to front end. No cashier in site, no light on and store has been open 45 minutes. I stand there for 5 minutes, I ask multiple employees is anyone on the front end to ring me up. Three employees over by the customer service desk tell me to just be patient, that clerk will be there. I wait another 5 minutes as multiple employees walk in a daze by me not greeting me.Finally clerk slow walks over to register, does not say hello, ask any questions. I then make comment about now I know what Kroger is like at 6am on a Saturday (arrived on flight last night from Heathrow so time change so up early). Clerk says always too busy at store, acts like customers are imposition, says she hopes when Publix opens there will be less customers at Kroger so her job is easier.At this rate it is going to happen!!

Great place always clean, great variety of wine. I always get my dog food and treats from here and body armor drinks 10 for 10. Great deals for anyone plus points back for gas with Kroger card. 👌

What a beautiful store. I shopped here once on my way back to Knoxville and it was a revelation. The Kroger stores inside Knoxville are DUMPS. Why do they only do the Marketplace concept out in the far-out surrounding areas? It had everything I needed and more. It's almost worth driving out of Knoxville just to shop here.

Was extremely disgusted by how this store does business. I've done online ordering for the past 3 years.... Long story short they took off all the sale prices because if you don't pick up the day of the order the sale prices go off sale. They then charged me over $150 more then what i authorized and when I tried disputing it they charge me for a " returned check fee" even though I was advised by their customer service agent to dispute charge with my bank. I will no longer shop at Kroger anymore and will take my business elsewhere!

Poorly designed parking lot. One must get back out in the "road" to get to the next aisle. Store is always clean and organized. You some times have to compete with the in-store shoppers huge carts.

Went shopping here with my wife. We stopped at the sushi bar and grabbed a chef's special. The lady at the sushi bar said they had other sushi in the display rack a little bit away for 15% off. We know those are the old ones, so, my wife said, no we want this one we grabbed. We started walking away, little did we know at the time, but the lady walked and got an old one from the 15% off display. She came over and grabbed the one we got out of our cart and said she needed to fix it and swapped it with the one she grabbed from the 15% off and walked off. We went and returned that one she put in our cart. Forget it, they now lost our business.
