We found three kittens outside our house that didn’t belong to anyone around. We called multiple places that were unwilling to take them. We called here and she was very helpful and said she would call around and find someone that would help us. Thank you!

Great place to find your next pet. I highly recommend their volunteer program if you can’t adopt a pet of your own but do have time to walk a couple of energetic puppies for a few hours a month!

I drive up to HSET about once a week on various days as I work about a half mile from them and they are ALWAYS closed. there are no business hours posted on the door to give anyone an idea of when to come back and no phone number to call. I look through the window and see about 20 cats lounging around. They look healthy so someone must be taking care of them, but if your not available, how will these cats ever get a home?

We adopted our pet from the Humane Society of East TN, they were very helpful and very friendly. They try to fit the animals personality to the owners so the pet can have a forever home.
