I recently visited to make donations while cleaning out a family member's home. My first interaction was by phone - all of my questions were answered clearly and concisely. At each of a half dozen visits I was greeted warmly. I was treated with courtesy and respect. The shop was clean and organized. Kayla and Donna were wonderful. My donations were accepted graciously and with a genuine positive attitude despite the massive volume of work this was putting on staff. I can't recommend them enough. I wish this was my local Goodwill.

I haven’t been to this location in a long time because you couldn’t really look bc everything thrown around and it was a mess. Me and my family decided to stop by today, and what a transformation this store has made. This store looks amazing and clean that is for sure. You can tell the employees that work there take pride in their work. And to the employees of goodwill in maryville, Thank you for cleaning this store up, you all have done a great job and your work is not going unnoticed!

I hadn't been here in years and decided to stop by. I was not impressed. I forgot how small this location is in comparison to the Alcoa store. The selection was just not there. A lot of gross, stained, old things. They price most clothes higher if they are a good "brand" name. And most of the clothes were priced like like that. Ridiculous when you got those donations for free. Also, there was hardly any organization with the sizes of clothes either.

The floor is nasty, and has price stickers on it that look like they've been there for months.The dressing rooms are 'temporarily unavailable'.They are supposed to open at 9:00, and they finally moseyed out and opened the door at 9:05.After I called.It's 30 freaking degrees out. Why go through every single item, struggling to find the size, when KARM graciously hangs a tag on each item,with the size prominently displayed?!I keep hoping Goodwill will get their act together, but someone would have to actually care, for that to happen.

Why they don’t close this store????? NEVER open, door says 9am website says 9am and 9:30 still close EVERY SINGLE time I went there, totally inconsiderate to people who drive 1 hour to go there 😡

Haven’t been in this store in a really long time gotta say what a big difference. Meet the New Store manager while shopping and what a great person! I forget her name but she was great Every turn was something new to look at! Staff members were great also. Can really tell they have worked there butts off from what I remember it being last time super impressed

Why would you ask $6.99 for a shirt with stains on the front. I seen this several times here.. I understand the reason to mark up brands like polo or fancy brands but of the shirt has stains or a fuzzy collar.....I'll upload photos if ever go back.

No dressing rooms. Pretty dirty and seemed really ghetto. No idea why. I've never seen a Goodwill in this shape. Lady working seemed overwhelmed but she was very friendly. Will come again but it seemed like it was on it's last leg.

Nice clean place but, they've raised their prices much too high. As an example I found a paper tablecloth and it was from the dollar general and had a $1 price on it. BUT the goodwill price sticker was $3.99. 4x the price is crazy and that's not the only item. Most stuff has been raised close to the price of new.

Very hard store to shop in. Not a very pleasant place. Need some serious changes and good coordination and management. But does have a lot of clothes . Women's pants were called men's and put in the men's, men's pants were's deemed women's, and put in the women's. all sizes were just thrown together .

this store isn't the best one around it's ok it's has good clothes and some are a little bit to much for some things brand new but great prices on the used clothes the staff here is great super nice u can't beat it there awesome always there to help u with any of your needs check it out if your ever in the area u might find something u really like or need

Does anyone know their policy on sorting through donations? I just dropped off several bags of clothing and the drop off area was in absolute disarray. It looked like a trash dump with multiple bags ripped open and there was even trash mixed in with the donations. Do they sort through them daily ? I would like to think my donations go towards helping someone rather than being rained on and thrown out.

I dont find Goodwill to be the leader in the thrift store game. Goodwill has a powerful name, used in lieu of actual store names like Shopvac did for the wet/dry vacuum market. I find that most Goodwill stores are below par when compared to the competitors inventory. I believe Goodwill needs a complete makeover and good marketing to pull back ahead. The charities are focused on persons with disabilities but you wouldnt know it, and the top executives at Goodwill are the other charity. Pay is high if you can get in. Not a favorite destination hunt for treasures.

Don’t buy any furniture or they will make you 60 year old mother load it by themselves. I came and got it loaded up for her. It’s ridiculous they don’t have anyone to help load furniture. Will never ever go back. This place is a joke.

Shouldnt really even get one star. Came from a diffrent area to shop. Its 4:45 sign says they close at 5:30 and as soon as we walked threw the door was asked to leave.
