My new favorite grocery store. Bigger than you think with wide varieties of most items. Produce was especially nice. I've worked in grocery and this store was super clean and fully stocked. Bakery/Deli is nice too.

I do most of my grocery shopping at Food Lion. This is an awesome grocery store. It's laid out well, very clean and well lit. The selection is very good. They have excellent produce with a large selection. The meat is very good here as well. Never got a bad steak and the ground beef is top notch. They have an excellent deli and bakery inside. Love the blueberry turnovers. When I shop and dont feel like cooking the hot bar and fried chicken are very good. I eat it a lot in the heat of summer. Lastly the cashier's are quick and very friendly. My last stop is at the Tennessee lottery vending machine for a few scratch offs. If you live in Townsend this is your best bet to save money. I love and recommend Food Lion.

I worked at a "Value Everyday" Food City (store 651), so I had to give it 4 stars! I only like this place because it is on my way to work. They also have the bigger container of French Vanilla Coffee creamer. Just like when I reference the Table of the Elements, I periodically buy a jug of it for me and work buddies.Sure, I am positive that the people that work here do a good job, but I only shop here in the earlier mornings and don't have to interact with many of the associates.At the end of the day this is just a grocery store. Shop here if it is convenient to do so. If not, go to a Food City or even Aldi.

It's easy to shop at a particular grocery store just because. Sometimes, maybe your parents shopped there or a special sale on a particular day. Now, think how many times you shopped at a particular store for a special and found the shelves empty. Now you need to go to another store and try again. You could just go to the Food Lioin the Brown's Creek shopping area. This Food Lion has just about any item at a very reasonable price that may be missing from the shelves at other stores. Just walk in, and the aroma of their 'ready to eat' foods in their kitchen area will make you hungry.

Great customer service and good product selection based on the smaller footprint of the store. Prices are a little high versus discount stores like Walmart, but to be expected from a full service grocery store. I was there in the afternoon and there were three checkout associates eating by their registers waiting attentively to check any customers out immediately. Find THAT at your local Walmart. LOL

Foodlion has some of the most courteous people working in this store. Always attentive if you need anything, prices are good ! The manager literally ask me if he can help me with anything everytime I go in there. Awesome shopping experience ! You feel welcome.

The store was extremely busy as most folks couldn't get out of their home for several days because it was so cold with snow and ice on the roadsThe store was well stocked except for bread.

Smaller grocery with a great selection.I like this store because I can get in and out pretty quickly with what I need.Great deli and meat/ fish is good.Always has Milos tea and lemonade on hand👍Staff is wonderful.

These people are hooligans!! One of them was rude to my aunts and made a joke about them leaving stuff around after she told them she could leave their basket. Not to mention, I am 24 and I’m trying to buy alcohol and the short fat girl there won’t accept my valid temporary ID but I send my fiancé in with his ID…no problem. Another employee typed in his birthday NO PROBLEM. Waste of my life. Good prices though.

Polite and friendly employees always able to fulfill all my grocery needs and even when I need help finding something all the people stalking will always stop to help and find what I need. The store is always clean and well stocked. Food Lion Works close with Second Harvest and Rio Revolution and our goal is to not have anyone go hungry. Lots of resources available ask anytime.

Great grocery with the vast majority of what we buy regularly. They dont fill up the isles with other diaplays so you can walk straight down the isles. Good quality produce and good selection of goods. One of the only groceries that caries 1/2 gallon of half and half.

I used to hate coming here because it was so outdated with a terrible selection but the remodel has improved it tremendously!! I'll definitely be shopping here more often now!

An easy shopping experience with friendly cashiers! They have a nice selection of Asian sauces and other items. I go here instead of the Kroger on Hall Road when looking for Asian and Latin ingredients. The produce selection is limited, but that is doable if you are in need of other items.

I go to this grocery store for my 6 pack of Sprites. For the last 3 weeks, they have been 4 for 11.00. Which is an excellent deal. The employees are very friendly and courtesy. I love the prices of my Minute Made juices

Convenient store -- the renovated layout makes it so easy to find what I need. The staff is always very helpful. Last visit my cashier was Mariah, and she was so nice. It's great to leave my errands with not only the groceries I need but also with a smile on my face.

This store is a little smaller than most groceries these days, but it has old fashion quality staff that know the store inventory and are happy to help. We find that the store frequently has items that we can not get in larger stores.

I've shopped at this store since I was a little girl, almost 26years, so you can say I'm somewhat of a "regular"..Never had any issues, other than every now & then, some of the employees get a bit rude. Sometimes it's closing or the store's jam packed.So I try to be considerate that everybody has bad days, but there's times it's completely uncalled for.A person's mood/attitude/etc can rub off on people around them, so always make sure to be friendly 😁SMILES ARE CONTAGIOUS!!😁

It's nice when just needing groceries to get out of the hustle and bustle of the crowds and he able to just ship for groceries and not have 50,000 people to fight through. Staff is pleasant and helpful.
