Absolutely disgusted with how I was treated at 6am on 3/19/24. I live in a motor home, and needed to get groceries first thing in the morning. To my surprise I’m being woken up by an employee (not a manager) pounding on my door. Telling me I need to move, and “this is employee parking”. Now there are no signs saying “employee parking” how was I suppose to know? But since being up for 60mins, no one has parked there. I got woken up rather abruptly, then this man continued to stand there in 27 degree weather to make sure I moved just to the front parking lot. This is where I parked…. No signs, stating no “overnight parking”, no “employees only parking” sign. I’m contacting the owner today, to get answers on why I was being harassed at 6am for no reason. When absolutely no one has parked there since. I’m down right disgusted, and apauled at the inconvenience and prejudice of this establishment. Do better, treat customers better, and don’t pound on someone’s door at 6am unnecessarily. Not a friendly place, extremely rude customer service, and no regards for others. I’m disappointed in you Food City! I hope the owner reads this and contacts me, because this whole interaction was unprofessional and uncalled for.

This was the first time I had gone there. There are so many things I liked about the store. It has a salad and soup bar that is kept fresh looking. The prepared food looks good, not dried out. The flower department had a person working there making arrangements. The meat department had more than one person to assist you. When I was ready to check out the registers were open and the cashiers had baggers. GREAT JOB FOOD CITY I will now shop every time from now on. Goodbye Walmart's where I have to shop, check myself out and then bag.

If you need groceries and hate going to Wal-Mart go here. Food City is great service with value. Forget the others. Go here. It is a brand new store with all your grocery needs.This Food City is a great grocery store. (I worked at this store when it was across the intersection at what is now a KARM store.) Store #651 was my first ever job. I started working there in high school at 16 as a courtesy clerk. "Bagger" if you will and moved to working as a cashier, dairy, stocking, meat and frozen departments.When I went to college, they worked with me on scheduling during the summers I would return. I learned a lot, not just about working with the public, but how to carry yourself and provide a professional service. If you need a first job, apply here. They did great scheduling special needs or differentialy abled people to work there along with younger than 16 yr olds. (I hope that made sense and their policies may have changed.)It is great to see this store and K-VA-T food stores grow as a company. I will continue to support them.

Clean store, friendly check out staffJust dont like their " sales" @ Food City as they seemingly require you to buy in " bulk " before the " sale " applies. This is probably the norm, but unfortunately it does effect the fact that we probably won't shop here alot 😕 😔 but in being fair it seems to be the " practice " of most Grocery stores in todays world.

Brand new building. I’m not familiar with the food city brand, but everything seemed very well organized and laid out. The store was clean and the staff was very helpful. Not quite as much organic and non-GMO food as Publix, but definitely worth the stop.

Flies on the "fresh" donuts, dead roaches on the floor, dirty buffet station that had been shut down and "cleaned". I prefer to gamble with lottery tickets, not salmonella.

This store is great, and the placement of groceries is good. Has hard to find staples. Deli items are fresh, and the floral department has great arrangements.

The Friday and Saturday sales were outstanding. Produce was very fresh. Store was clean and neat. They also have the right number of cashiers, so the wait is minimal. I recommend highly.

Really enjoyed shopping at Food City. Prices are good compared to other stores in area. Have noticed this, and other stores in the are do not have the selection of varieties of particular items that I am used to; i.e. number of types and shapes of pasta.

I shop here all the time. Some good (Starbucks and some friends).Some not so good.The deli has food formations I don't recognize. They are paring some of their selections down, there are not uncommon smells of bad chicken, seafood that has more than once stank all the way up to the front of the store. I threatened to call the health department once over the seafood (I'm anaphalaxically allergic to clams and the smell was up front for a couple of days first). They then cleaned it up. My husband had a reaction to a tuna steak. He turned beat red all the way down to his chest. When we complained about it I was told there was going to be some cross contamination. So, I try not to buy too much that comes from the seafood meat area because it's too much of a risk for me. When we complained about the lettuce having brown spots they put up a sign asking for patience because of the supply(don't understand why it wasn't removed as that isn't supply but honor). There were several packages of bacon that lost their seal(you can tell because the bacon darkens and the plastic is loose), ten maybe, that we told a manager about and the next day they were gone. Frequent broken eggs in their cartons. We have noticed the mayonnaise goes on sale that not quite half we're near expiration or expired. So, we always check itThey have a good amount of uscan. I suggest checking your receipt though because it's not unheard of for the uscan not to show a sale price. When I complained about that the lady at the desk said "did you go to the uscan? Our cashier's try to catch that" and said there are 20000 items in the store(which doesn't make sense because there aren't 20000 items on sale) I have also noticed shelves marked different than the published price. That was fixed for me.There are nice people the floors are clean. There's more plus than minus or I wouldn't shop at all here. Please understand these are a collection of experiences over a few years and I tell them to give a general atmosphere of management and response.

Would not recommend super expense. Just to give you an idea 8 pieces of potato wedges which probably wasn’t even half a pound. Was over $4 I was so surprised I shouldn’t of bought it. Rip off. Much cheaper options for general food anywhere else. And they were nasty we ended up throwing more than half of them away. Stay away and save your money

So me and my wife have been coming here and getting her groceries for a long time last time we were in there the clerk pointed out that we had a ton of fuel visits. So I figured we might as well take advantage of those points but had I known that I was going to be the one taken advantage of, I would have never pulled up to that pump. We used our debit card just like we do at any other gas station tried three times and it finally told us to see the attendant. To my surprise I was greeted with a declined card at the counter due to the pump pre-authorizing multiple charges of $175 each which would have been fine if I could have pumped my gas. But no, there is a small sticker on the pump that let you know debit cards cannot be used. The clerk informed me of that and he was very rude when I asked him. What am I going to do? How will I get home? He said I don’t know it happens all the time maybe call a friend I can’t help you do you won’t get your money back for three days so we slept outside in the parking lot until a good Samaritan was able to help us get home. This was the most embarrassing moment of my life, and we still have absolutely no money to our name since that was the last little bit. Please just don’t come here unless you like being robbed.

Employees always courteous. Store was very crowded but checkout went smoothly. Unlike some other big stores, Food City had enough open lanes to accommodate the customers. Very good experience.
