This is by far the worst dollar general near me. The employees that work here are very rude. Went to try to purchase something that was on the clearance shelf and marked obviously as clearance with an orange sticker and the lady refused to sell it to me for clearance price and had an attitude about it. I put all my stuff back and walked out, I will not be back at this dollar general.

This store needs major help. The shelves are empty but the carts blocking the aisles are full of merchandise. Hard to navigate through the store and it’s been this way for a long time. As soon as you walk in the door you get a feeling of what your going to be contending with throughout the store. One word sums clutter and utter chaos throughout and good luck in finding someone to assist you in, locating what your looking for among the carts, boxes and hand trucks.

They had everything I needed. Staff was quick to ask if I needed help finding anything. Staff was very nice. Dollar Generals are convenient and most always have just what you want or need. Cashier double bagged my 2 liter drinks. Great experience. Would recommend to everyone.

My favorite Dollar General store in the Manchester area, hands-down. It’s always clean, organized, and there are never any stacked boxes or hand carts of stock blocking the aisles like in the other stores in the area. Although this store is just a couple minutes from my house making it super convenient, it’s still my go to store no matter where I am in town because every single employee that works there Is always very friendly, greets you as soon as you walk in the door, and never makes you feel like an inconvenience like the dollar general store in town does.

This location is normally a 5 star rating from me. However in recent weeks they have been out of popular items. After talking to different employees it seems as though the iteams are not getting shipping in. Otherwise the employees are always helpful and kind.

My favorite DG store out of at least 6 I pass in my daily commute! They have a nice variety of fresh fruit and vegetables along with most other things I need keep me from having to go to big stores like Walmart. The staff is always wonderful and friendly unlike the other five stores, and unless it's during stocking times the store is always very clean, restrooms are very clean and convenient to the front door.

I've always enjoyed shopping at this Dollar General Store, I've never had any issues and the man who works there in the afternoon is always extremely kind and helpful if I need help finding anything....I'm not the kind of person who complains, I really don't like to complain about anything...I do need to comment on the condition of the restroom at this Dollar General though because if I don't I feel like I'm lying about the whole experience. I have worked for Dollar General in the past, I know that the restrooms should not be used in the manner that they are right now!! There should be a ladie's room and a men's room, there should not be a customer's bathroom and an employee bathroom! The bathroom was FILTHY, the back of the toilet would not stay in the upright position and the paper towels were in the floor and they were WET!! This is a disgrace! I bet the employee restroom is clean, it almost certainly has a functioning toilet and the paper towels are not wet and in the floor!! I'm going to be driving 15 minutes out of my way now to go to another store because of the complete disregard for my health that they obviously have at this Dollar General Store! SHAME ON YOU MANAGEMENT FOR LETTING THIS HAPPEN!!

Management is very rude always have to wait at least 15 min to check out will hardly ever open second register. They are supposed to push the page button on store phone for another person to help if there is more than three people waiting in line the one that isn't on register in back of store stocking doesn't take but a second to stop help and go back to stocking. The GM wouldn't be happy with this store. Safety hazard also always rocket carts in aisles.And there is no reason they should tell you they can't go look on shelf for a product for as customer that calls b/c they live 20min from store and 35 from town. That is there job.

Compared to the other Dollar General stores, this one needs to be a little more neater like the others. The aisles are too narrow for two people with carts ttogo through. Too much clutter down the aisles

Prices are high i think an some products are liking in use even though are name brand stuff i can tell a difference in their laundry detergent like Tide an Tide at other stores the quality is not as good an considering their prices are high there's no wonder there in financial trouble from what I seen on the New's...

Good place to shop but know your prices so you can compare them. Unfortunately the store normally looks like a disaster. Clerks are very nice and helpful.

The Dollar General just past New Union School on Hwy 53 has come a long way in the past year or so. The young men who work there are so very nice, helpful AND courteous.

Sometimes , the store is low on grocery items. Or out of stock completely. But they're usually pretty good about having it the next day

Got Followed around the store by the night manager tonight . my family did. Then I took my phone outta my pocket and hooked some headphones and checked to see if they worked on my phone cuz I brought some bad ones there before. Didn't get my money back either. Then she followed me and my family out to the car. She yanked my bag outta my hand. Then searched my pockets. She didn't find anything . I MIGHT NOT BE RICH AND DRIVE A NEW CAR AND WEAR FANCY CLOTHES BUT IM NOT A THIEF. AND SHE DIDNT APOLOGIZE FOR ACCUSING ME AND SEARCHING ME . JUST WALKED OFF AND SAID SHE DOESN'T LIKE THEIFS AT HER STORE. AND I AM NOT SHOPPING THERE ANYMORE

This place used to be great now if you use a coupon it takes forever because they gotta read it so closely and make sure everything is exactly right due to district managers being so picky.

It's a Dollar General with a cooler and grocery section. Chips and soda seem to always be on sale. Convenient place to have nearby.
