Well I shop at 3 different dollar stores in my area. They seem to be getting it together. In the past, they were very understaffed,overworked, and underpaid!!Stock was not being put out on shelves.I'm proud to see such a big change and improvement!!

Staff is very friendly. Always greeted with a smile and a hello. The place itself is fine. I usually run in there for cleaning/laundry supplies and quick pick up items. The store seems like cleanliness is not a priority. The floors are filthy. It always looks so dingy inside/ merchandise on display often disheveled. They offer more than I was aware of and obviously reasonably priced.

My experience there was completely terrible. The customer service with the so-called boss who was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I will never be back there again.

I went here recently with my Mom and this place is a disaster. I used to try to shop here about a year ago but stopped going bc it was a disaster back then, and still is! Trash in the parking lot and on the sidewalk. Floors were filthy. The products were completely disorganized and unstocked in many areas. I usually prefer to shop at Dollar General, but not this one - it's awful.

Pitiful. Store is always a mess. Empty shelves. Only 1 or 2 over worked people doing everything. Need to offer a better wage so they could keep people working. I don't think it is a safe environment for one or two ladies to be working alone out in the country locations. Greedy company who obviously has no regard for their employees. Waste of time to go to $$General because most likely the shelves are empty and the employees are having to do the jobs of 3 people. Can't blame it on the pandemic because it's always been this way.

As with the Majority of store's in this area. They offered limited items and/or quantity of items. They were stocking items in several area's of the store, problem was the supply chain. Either Not getting their trucks or Not getting the items many people need on the trucks. Most employee's offered as much assistance or alternatives they could to try and assist the customers.

The employees are helpful however, it's very dirty, most of the shelves are not stocked, in fact there's not a single fully stock Shelf. And the restrooms are out of order for the second month in a row. By far one of the worst Dollar Generals I've been to in terms of merchandise availability and cleanliness

It wasn't that many people in line, however, the cashier felt it was necessary to hold a full blown conversation with a customer and not multi-task by ringing up items. Personally I thought that was very inconsiderate as there were people whom needed to get back to work. Other customer's were getting agitated, while the other some just simply placed their items down and walked out. This type of perception looks bad. Hopefully in the near future this type of "customer service " can become a thing of the past and soon become a convenient experience for the future.

Disorganized. Rude. Employee's Talk on phone instead of doing their job like running a cash register. Three of the females can't even blow up balloons. Props to the young guy who works there wish I could remember his name but he is the best they have there. Always a busy body in a good sense very respectful and helpful. Always wears a smile.

Convenient and friendly cashier. I felt sorry for the poor guy because he was having to work in a store where they don't get to control the air temperature. It was definitely a little too hot in the store. Thankfully, I only had to run in for a couple of things! Maybe the CEO needs to come work a day in this store!!

I love dollar general but this store was an absolute wreck!! Merchandise was everywhere of the shelves and mixed into places it did not belong. Walking in the air smelled really musty and dirty. This store needs a to to bottom deep clean and someone that cares enough to organize it

The store is clean and we'll stocked. The conveyor belt on the register hasn't worked for over a year though. All employees are nice, friendly and helpful except 1 older lady whose as hateful the 1st time you meet her as the next and all times there after

Someone needs to learn how to order and stock the store!!! Lines backed up and only one cashier with no help in sight. Cashier's or someone's kids running all behind the register throwing up while customers waiting for assistance they cleaned puke up!! Staff very rude!!! Except for the young guy that wears glasses he is very nice. It's convenient to run in on my way home but they are always out of just about everything I need!!! Need to step it up!!!!

Absolutely awful I tried to call 7 different times and not one time did I get an answer I had a pickup order that was delayed for an hour and a half and they ended up just waiting till it timed my order out because it wasn't within the pickup time anymore absolutely horrible experience will never order for pickup here again the other ones in town are 100x better this one really just needs to be shut down

Stoped in this store mothers day it was a mess only seen one employee she was very sick had no one to cover for her being on mothers day .stock need to be put away ,floor nasty ,.

Very messy from stocking the shelves, which I NEVER seen anyone doing! The stock carts were in the way of seeing anything on the shelves! Employee, Jessica, was very sweet and very quick to get ya checked out!

The lady that checked me out tonight 2/11/20 @5:30 was absolutely amazing, I want to say her name was Tina, but regardless she was I was getting everything I could to disinfect my home due to my 4 children and me and husband all have the flu and pneumonia or bronchitis and she walked me through the process of downloading your app to help me save some money on cleaning supplies, she didnt rush me, or make me feel like I wasn't moving fast enough, I definitely wish there were more people in customer service like her... you have a great employee there... thank you again

No restroom, it's "out of order."Multiple visits and workers are slow and impolite.First visit I tried to buy a cigar wrap they had in stock. The lady scanned it, and then told me she couldn't sell it to me because it was discontinued. (She did show the proof, but c'mon.) Also since they overstocked the area they were located behind the counter, she could barely open the sliding plastic doors, and acted as if me needing an item from there was out of line. (Too much work I guess.) Also, why use the space on things you won't sell?Second visit, guy literally scanning items with no conversation or greeting beyond Hi, 1 item/per 30-60secs. I paid in cash and said no pennies, and he tried to pocket the .50¢ change I was owed. Lol.So if you need some stuff and have all day to wait during checkout, and don't need chew, wraps, or smokes, whatever; it's a normal Dollar General. Count your change.

This store needs Help. Most of the shelves are empty. Not that they don't have inventory they just don't have people to put it out. As of today 1216 2019 they still have Christmas inventory in boxes to put out. They are super nice in there they just need help.

They always have only one register open. There is always a very long line. And I have never seen that place stocked. Its always half empty. Good luck finding what you're looking for because they are probably going to be out.

This Dollar General store is never stocked. They are always half empty. I don't know if management doesn't know how to order enough or whats going on. But it is never stocked. I wouldn't recommend going there because whatever you're looking for odds are they don't have it. It's in the middle of town and always busy. And they never have more than 1 register open. There is always an extremely long line and they won't open another register.

I approached the manager about an issue with a vagrant in front of the store. I was told that was normal, not to worry about it. The person in front of the store was running his hand down the front if his pants and applying ointment. Pretty gross for a customer to have to see and it be " normal" . I was disappointed in the response.

This was horrible. Bare shelves. Trash, boxes and merchandise piled on floor. When asked if the store was being re-set or closing, the sole employee I encountered told me no and wondered why everyone asks her that! Lol. I thought it would be quicker to run in there for the gift card I needed, but it was not. I won't bother to go back.

The store on Hillsboro rd is never stocked nor is it clean. If this establishment can afford building a new store in our town, it can afford more employees to do the work that needs to be done. Management needs to get off their butts and run these stores right.

Like the variety. Easier to run in quickly. Good sales. They take coupons but sometimes they don't work and your purchase is messed up. They need to work out the problems with using digital coupons.

A lot of people don't know it but a lot of stuff at Dollar General is higher than Walmart or anywhere else you may want to do some price comparison before shopping there the cheapest place to get 12-pack Pepsi or Cokes is Food Lion they have really good sales and they're cheaper than Dollar General are Walmart so your best bet is to do your price comparison and if you're going to be in these places why not just go ahead and check the prices and write them down for future reference...

They are very slow there. Waiting at least 5 or minutes just to watch someone walk to the front they only usually keep one register open and every time I go to this piticular one I come out with nothing on my list get it together please
