We were fortunate enough to rescue and adopt a beautiful young male pitbull that is as sweet as he can be. Craig was great to work with and very helpful with getting us acquainted with our new boy. Highly recommend the shelter for your next pet as they have many that need new homes!

Somebody dumped off a dog n they refused to take it. Told my mom it was her responsibility now. She lives on 41 n isn't going to allow that dog to run freely. It'll get hit. I don't like dog pound!!

Beautiful selection of dogs, but staff could not tell me which dogs were available for adoption. Went every day for a week and I never got to even hold or see them up close. No one ever called me back and there was nothing online for me to review. No staff member could tell me or give me paperwork about the dogs I liked. I was told the county and city dogs were mixed in together and all their signs were wrong. One staff member was rude. And no one was helpful. I felt bad for these dogs and because of the poor customer service, I ended up adopting in Tullahoma.

The guys here were very helpful with the dog I found and had the little fellow back home to his owners within a few hours. They were extremely friendly and seemed to care a lot for the animals. The dogs I did see there all looked healthy and were wanting to play with the guys working there.

We had two dogs that were dumped on our street next to the river that eventually made it to our house after feeding them a few times. We took them in for a week until Animal Control could come and pick them up. Kudo's to Samantha the Officer who came out to get them today. She was super professional and even as important or more important you can tell she loves animals and has a great sense of ease with them, and the dogs knew it. I'm sure they don't hear it enough it but Great Job and Thanks for working to get these dogs a forever home. These dogs didn't ask to be dumped like trash next to the river by people who should never have had dogs.
