I simply asked for help locating a specific display as part of a side job I was doing and the manager had an absolute meltdown over it. I was very polite but she just kept ranting and raving. I’d like to point out that I am also a consumer and that they lost my business that day. I have never had any issues at other stores when asking for help.

Amazing customer service! I stopped in to purchase hangers and they were sold out. The manager was able to give advice and directions to help me out. I will definitely be back to this location.

I visited the Family Dollar Store, one of my most favorite businesses to shop in & rather spend my money there compared to all the other different kinds of branches of Dollar Stores, Dollar Tree's, Doller General's, etc. But when I entered into their business door last night, my 1st encounter was with the cashier behind the counter whom saw me walk in so I greeted her with a smile & asked about the clearance sales going on throughout the store. She looked as if she weren't to thrilled to be seeing me walk in Im assuming because it was about 45min till closing time. I meant no harm by this but I had actually myself just worked a 12hr shift & needed to get a cpl things but never can I go straight in & out when there are clearance tags on the womens clothing! To make this as short as I possibly can but to the point, I am & have always been a slow shopper, searching to find my best bargain, & of course looking to buy whatever it is I'm wanting to buy with my hard earned money. Sometimes I have to think on my decisions to buy certain things while shopping so I usually will look at it several times, stop & stare at it, or even carry it around while I finish the rest of my shopping list. I love to shop. I love clothes. I love home interior... I AM A WOMAN... so surely you get the point?! Total, I seen 2 women employees in the store & from the time I walked into the front door of the store, I was ignored of my greeting towards the caisher in which I thought was odd but then it started to get worse than odd, after I had been in there long enough to make it down my 2nd aisle, I realized I was being steadily followed & watched closely for what reason I have not a clue. But as for her actions & impression she was giving me, continued to become more rude & disrespectful even after I think about the 3rd or 4th time of me still continuously trying to make nice talk/ conversation because I felt rhe need I had to or needed to, just to be able to stop watching me as if I was wanting to steal or whatever it was she thought, I'll never know. But I know it was really awkward being in that store last night which has never happened before & Im telling you, this employee over stepped her boundaries as a person & as a company employee by making assumptions or whatever without any kind of reason to be suspicious of me taking something. I'm sorry to say that I may have looked the part of a thief as far as my looks last night but that's what working 50-60hrs a week will do to you at the end of everyday. Really I was & still am offended & quit pist off by how she acted while I paid for my items & then was basically ran off out the door due to her attitude & negativity that would run anybody off willingly in my opinion. If you hate your job, suck it up & fake liking it or find anorher one because you never know how just 1 simple look, word, lie, assumptions, etc. or whatever, cause it everyone is different & reacts to things & people differently... what permanent mark you could leave on their life, bad or good, & never even realize the extent of damage you can do to not only them but to yourself & to the people your work for & work with!
