My wife and I took a late Valentine’s Day getaway to Lynchburg, TN, over the President’s Day weekend (2024). Originally, we were going to stay in Tullahoma; however, after seeing the reviews for the Lynchburg Country Inn, I decided to chance it. When we arrived, the manager allowed us to check in early because we made better time than I originally thought we would (220 miles). He was very personable and offered good advice on how to see the attractions in the area. Now, mind you, this isn’t a five-star motel with a bunch of fluff and frills, but it was clean, very clean. I always check my room thoroughly before bringing in my luggage, especially for signs of bed bugs and vermin, and room #207 passed muster. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The only issues, if that’s what you want to call them, were the lack of chairs and the fact that one of the towels had a slight stain; however, it had a faint smell of bleach, so there was no issue with it being sanitary. We liked the fact that the floor was laminate rather than carpet because of the sanitary issues that sometimes come with carpeted floors. As with all older motels, the walls were somewhat thin; however, there were no major noise issues, and the TV had an excellent choice of channels. Overall, for the price I paid, I was extremely happy with my stay. The motel could invest in a little more variety concerning the vending selection, but there’s a Subway and Chinese restaurant next door and a Dollar General within a 3-minute walk. I have no issues recommending this small, independently owned motel, which meets all the basic needs of the traveler. In summary, it’s clean, quiet, and a good value for the money.Nearby activities: Jack Daniels distillery and the downtown shopping area.Walkability: Everything that you'd want to see is within a 10 minute walk.Food & drinks: I highly recommend Barrel House BBQ (Lunch/Dinner) and Southern Perks Coffee Shop (Breakfast) both within a 10 minute walk of the hotel.Noteworthy details: I'd also recommend the "Hunny Bunny" Mercantile in downtown Lynchburg. The owner is a very sweet lady who has some lovely handcrafted gifts. She has a sweet little Dachshund named Chumley, who stays with her at the store.

This is great place to stay. Walking distance from the Jack Daniel's distillery. The rooms have been modernized and the AC units function without fail. Our room was crisp and cold. Pets are allowed for a $25.00 fee and it was flea free! There is a large lot behind the motel for pets to relieve themselves. Coffee was ready in the lobby at 7 o'clock with honey buns. We'll stay there again.Nearby activities: Walking distance to Jack Daniel's distillery.

Looks recently remodeled, very clean and well kept. About a mile from the distillery, so it's convenient if you're in town for the tour. Easy access to the premises in and out, and parking spots are nicely sized. The host guy is very nice.Rooms: Bedding felt new, both sheets and (soft) mattress. Bathroom was clean, so no issues there. There's an AC unit and it worked pretty well.Nearby activities: The town square is an 8 minute walk down the street, so if you're with someone, get on down there and check things out.Food & drinks: There's a Dollar General nearby, and a Subway in the neighboring parking lot. A few minutes walk further than that is the town square. The pizza there was pretty good. Also Mary Bobo's is within walking distance as well if you want to go a little bit further.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night because we were going to the jack Daniel’s distillery This hotel isn’t a bad place to stay if your intentions are to visit the area, the guy at the desk was friendly however sad they don’t offer breakfast :/ and the rooms in the pictures are different. It seems like they renovated some of them my only complaints really were they had no breakfast, the pressure of the water in the shower isn’t all the greatest it’s decent, and the tv isn’t the greatest quality and the towels were not white white some were stained but over all no roaches thankfully and it was clean I could walk across the floor barefoot and not have really dirty feet it’s a good place to stay if you overlook some of the downsides .

Super clean and reasonably priced. This family run motel is a good thing. It is on the main road, with the fan running we didn't hear a thing all night. The room with 2 queens was a bit small for 3 grown people, but it worked. Would definitely stay again. Great location near the Jack Daniels Distillery. There are food options nearby, but this town shuts down early.Nearby activities: Close to the Jack Daniels Distillery and historic downtown LynchburgSafety: We felt safe in this location.

If you want to see rural Tennessee or the Jack Daniel’s faculty or both, there is no reason to stay outside of town and drive in. Hotel is quiet, clean and 1 min drive from the town square / distillery. You could easily walk.Akash at the front is a good dude and very helpful - let me borrow a can opener for our dogs food the whole stay and was very helpful months prior to our stay when I had to reschedule.Only small thing is if you have a large family, rooms are quite small (bathrooms are massive though and honestly are so clean you could probably throw an air mattress in there).Nearby activities: Jack Daniel’s Distillery, Town Square with food and drink (everything closes early).

Excellent place to stay. Comfortable clean room with a large TV. I highly recommend if you are going to the Jack Daniels distillery, to stay here. It is walking distance from the distillery and the town square in Lynchburg. Lynchburg is the friendliest and kindest town you'll ever visit. They made us feel welcome and treated us like old friends. We ended staying an extra night, which was readily accomodated by the friendly staff. Loved it and would absolutely stay again if I got the chance.Rooms: Very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and coffee facilities.Nearby activities: The Jack Daniels distillery and I highly reccomend the town square. Particularly, the BBQ Caboosse Cafe. They have live music on a Friday, delicious food and an unforgettable atmosphere.Safety: I felt safe and comfortable at all times. It is also quiet and very relaxing.Walkability: Within 10 minutes walk from Jack Daniels Distillery and town square

Basic clean motor inn. Rooms are large and renovated. Rooms have fridge, microwave, comfy large beds and parking outside your unit.Owner/Manager is very friendly and helpful. On-site is access to guest laundry - a real plus. This is the only accommodation in Lynchburg (home of the Jack Daniels Distillery). Big complaint is that guests are able to smoke on the seats outside their rooms and inevitably in front of yours. The smoke floats continually into the room. There should be a smoking area away from the units (front grass area or our back). We would not stay a second night because of the smoke, hence the star rating.

Stayed in room 207. The room itself was small with a king bed. The bathroom space was massive. We brought our dogs and were able to put both kennels in the bathroom, and still, there was plenty of room in the bathroom. What you are paying for is location and service. This is only a minute drive from the distillery and the square. The staff at the front desk was super friendly and caring. I give this a 3 star only because the room was tight, next to the inn is the jail where the inmates are constantly outside tending the grounds and playing baseball while checking out people walking their dogs. The morning smell of a farming community, so you have to be accustomed to that. Would stay here again if I were to visit Lynchburg again.

The staff was absolutely amazing sweet kind and understanding. The rooms are renovated and like a few things here and there to fix and very clean, heat and air work great TV works, fridge and microwave works. We stayed here two weeks in December and then two weeks in Jan I will not stay at any other hotel besides this one because the kindness that was showed to us during our stay. It's hard to find good honest people these days if I could give them 1000 stars they would get it but this is only my opinion! Will stay here in the future!

So pleased with this place. We felt safe. One story, you park in front of your room. We got a newly renovated room, it was clean. No place to hang our clothes, no closet, Not even a hook on the door. Close to a subway and Chinese restaurant. Close to everything really. If you wanted to walk to downtown it’s 10 minutes. But I’m lazy and fat so I drove. Dollar general could be seen from parking lot.

Location was great, half mile to the Jack Daniels distillery and the historic town square. The Inn is in the process of being remodeled so there was lots of remodeling supplies near our rooms. The rooms were clean and updated and the staff was accommodating. Would stay there again.
