This Dollar General is special and much larger carrying a lot of merchandise that others do not normally carry. We were visiting Lynchburg and on our way back home about fifteen miles away and needing a gallon of milk. We bought that and more including a nice wind chime. It is wheelchair accessible with assisted checkout and self check.

There's one nearly every 15 miles! Usually they are friendly but under staffed. They have a huge variety of products. It's a much appreciated store in the rural area.

This is the biggest non-market DG I've ever been in, which means more room to carry a bigger variety of items, and they definitely have a lot of items you won't find in most other DGs. The selections are bigger and better and the employees are friendly and helpful too, which is always a plus 👍👍

For some reason, we have the worst luck with this Lynchburg Dollar General and digital coupons! Other Dollar General stores that we frequent don't have these issues, even the same day. There is always some excuse for things not working at this location. Misprints, not having the new circular yet, they aren't authorized to honor it here, it's not attached to this phone number Etc. Etc. Beautiful location and friendly associates.

Nice enough cashiers. One of the items I bought was marked at half the price they actually charged me and I am not walking back to get my money back. Clothes area was chaos, but there was someone in the store actually straightening up.
