Dr.Keller and entire staff are truly a blessing. New Year’s Eve my senior baby was having a hard time breathing and my husband and I thought she wasn’t going to make it. But dr. Keller not only opened for us even though he was closed this day he rushed our baby back gave her oxygen and kept her for a few nights to save her life! My husband and I our so great-full and blessed to have found this amazing doctor and animal hospital we will be coming here from now on. He’s respectful, caring, and trustworthy didn’t make us pay up front and just wanted to save our fur baby. I’m so blessed and I’m so thankful for this doctors and his staff they are so wonderful! We found Dr Keller and his team when one of our Guinea pigs needed to be seen ASAP. No regular vet or emergency vet had someone on staff who sees “exotics”. Dr Keller got our Princess Pickles in the day we called! We also had another one of our Guinea pigs start dragging his legs, turned it his back was fractured from his cage mate climbing on him. They got us in next day, did X-rays, gave meds, and called the next day to see how Mr Brown was doing! We have been taking our animals there ever since. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr Keller is AMAZING and we are so thankful we found him! We live out towards hwy 60 and hwy 58 Harrison/Georgetown area and make the almost hour drive to Lookout Mtn because this team is worth it! They are affordable and they do it because this is their passion! I could go on and on but if you are looking for an affordable and loving group of Vets and staff this is the place to go!!!

Brought one of my chameleons here for a checkup. Got checked in (was about 10 min early) and was immediately placed in a room. Within just a few minutes, the vet was in and started his exam. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Asked lots of questions to get a full understanding of what was going on as well as answering any questions I had. Highly recommended!

Dr Keller & the other 2 Vets & entire staff are so professional, intelligent, loving & caring!We’ve Had several pets -regular checkups to trauma to surgeries, and they take care of everything!The prices are incredibly fair! When you walk in there, you feel like you and your pet are VIPS!! You can tell this is there CALLING !!I just wish Dr Keller could be MY HUMAN DOCTOR , too!!

This placing is a true blessing. In the past 8 hrs I have had 2 critically I'll 3 week old puppies. I went to the veterinary care and speciality group on broad street paid $200 just for them to misdiagnose my 1st puppy and tell me that it would be over $1,000 for 24 hrs in the hospital and they are more worried about a price tag instead of an animal. Like why become a vet then? So I called mountain Hospital for Animals because I have taken my exotics to them and they were great. They got me in right away and was able to start working on the first puppy and didn't ask for the money upfront. I got home and found that another puppy from the litter I'm fostering has fallen sick with the same problem. I called them back and was able to immediately take her up there too. When I yell you the compassion of the doctors at this location is amazing. They care about the animal just as much as they would their own kids. Which is what a vet should do.

We go here for all of our pets. Most recently our cat Bo became extremely sick. We'd had her at an emergency vet overnight which cost us around $1400. We had him transferred here where they gave her nearly around the clock care, we found out a vet was coming in after hours to continue giving her medication. We had to make the decision to have her put down. This was extremely difficult for my daughter in particular, who insisted on being with Bo until the end. This office was extremely understanding in every way, and after everything was said and done, the bill was much lower than what I was expecting, just a fraction of the bill that we got from the emergency vet, and that had Bo for about 3 days total. I can't recommend this place enough, we continue using them for all of our pets. Today we are bringing in a stray pregnant cat that found it's way into our garage for them to evaluate.

Wow... Is the only word I have to even begin to describe the experience. This hospital actually cares about your animals, not your paycheck or if you are a millionaire. They will work with you, but I highly recommend that you do them right as they are going to do more than right by you and your furry friends. Thank you guys for how positive and passionate you are about the welfare of animals. It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

I have a 6 year old iguana, that was due to lay her 3rd clutch of eggs (not fertilized). After she had passed the last 2 clutches over the years with about 2 weeks of limited eating, this time worried me as she was not eating at all for about a month. I had actually been referred to see Dr. Keller by Dr. Linderman over at Standifer Gap Pet Hospital for a hysterectomy procedure, as she was more than likely egg-bound. Dr. Keller scheduled for me to bring her in later that same day that I called, and had a great treatment plan in place to help her along with the process, as opposed to just putting her directly into surgery (this would have created a lot of stress for her, and could have had horrible repercussions). After keeping her for a couple of days, the surgery was scheduled, and turned out to be a lot more involved than anticipated. The procedure was completed with success, and she was well looked after by the staff to make sure her recovery was going well. Dr. Keller actually had left for the day after the surgery, and came back in the evening to check up on her and called me with an update. The level of respect that I received at this clinic was astounding, as was the level of care that she received. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone that deeply cares for their pets. I am happy that I found a vet that could help me with my iguana, and I am pleased that Dr. Keller did this procedure for me. The staff was very attentive as well, and were very helpful when I brought her in and set up her enclosure, as well as when I had to pick her up and take her home. She is doing well, and I am looking forward to her check up in a couple of weeks.

This is the best veterinary clinic I've ever dealt with in my 10 years as a pet owner. I've been to them for routine visits and vaccinations for all 4 of my dogs and had great experiences. Then last week my cat started to show signs of a urinary tract blockage when I got home from work super late. I rushed him to VSC around 2 am and they charged me almost 400 dollars to get him in and prescribe him a few medications and only 3 days worth. None of those included an antibiotic. So I brought him to mountain view the next morning and they added a few more meds to his regimine and gave him fluids. He seemed to improve but had a stressful event at home Saturday night then rapidly declined all day Sunday. I called them in tears Monday morning and explained my situation. They were all booked up with zero availability and still got my cat in and made time for him because of the severity of the situation. They got him on antibiotics and fluids immediately and were able to have his medication compounded for me so it would be easier for me to administer at home. After his antibiotic shots and IV fluids he started to perk right up. Today he's 100% normal and happy and I'm so thankful I don't have to see my baby suffer anymore. I'm relatively low income and they've made quality veterinary care accessible for me. Them fitting him in even when they didn't have time really showed me they care about the animals they treat. I think alot of clinics now take advantage of people and price gouge and animals suffer because of it. I literally cannot thank the drs as well as the front of house staff here enough. They are literal angels.

Today was my first appointment at Mtn Hospital with Dr. Keller. I was referred to him by another bird owner who also mentioned that Dr. Keller helps treat exotics at the Aquarium. I was extremely grateful for his clear explanation of things, his kind demeanor regarding the recent loss of a pet, and his deep knowledge of avian medicine. I would recommend him to any animal owner, especially those with birds like myself. Having seen many intelligent, well meaning vets over my decade of bird ownership, I've learned it is worth it to see a vet that has the specialty and passion for them seen here.*Update* I've now been seeing Keller for about 5 months working through some difficult health issues with my conure and ensuring the health of my cockatiel and Keller has been great at communicating and helping us through this. While it wasn't the diagnosis we had hoped for, I'd still highly recommend this animal hospital and their staff.

Mountain Hospital for Animals scheduled us for a same day appointment as first time clients when our pet rat, Skipper, began developing symptoms of pneumonia. Skipper had never needed care from a vet before, so I was concerned about the experience being fearful and traumatic for him, but it was immediately clear Dr. Keller and his staff were very experienced with rodents and that he was in good hands! It's reassuring to know such an experienced, well established, and affordable office is available to rats (and other small and/or exotic pets) in the Chattanooga area, and we were so grateful they were willing to schedule us so quickly as it does not take long for a symptomatic rat to succumb to pneumonia. Skipper is doing much better, and feeling happy and well today thanks to the antibiotics prescribed at Mountain Hospital for Animals. We will definitely return if Skipper or any of his brothers need vet care in the future! Thank you Mountain Hospital for Animals, and Hwy 58 Animal Hospital for the excellent referral!

I was sent here from Animal Clinic East for Doctor Whitford because there was something really wrong with my beardy. They took her in for an emergency visit, and BOY were they all super helpful. She got the care she needed and they gave a lot of good and helpful tips. Even made a sheet to set her on the road to recovery. Thank you guys so much again!

This is the only vet I will be taking my babies to. They are fantastic and you can tell they really care about animals.I first went here when I had to rush one of my parakeets in that had been misdiagnosed by a prior vet, because he got even worse. Dr. Keller did everything in his power to help our sweet boy but unfortunately he had passed away. I had full confidence that Dr. Keller did everything he could. He and his staff were so kind and compassionate to us. They were super knowledgeable and now my other parakeet is on a perfect diet that she is loving.On my next visit I took my other parakeet to make sure she did not catch any sickness. We saw Dr. Matthew Whitford this time. He was super nice, just like Dr. Keller was and so were the other staff members. He was very gentle with my parakeet and very knowledgeable too. He also told me that we could call or email with any worries or questions we had about our animals, which brings me so much comfort.Bless this wonderful vet. I can't thank them enough.

Highly HIGHLY recommend this practice!! I brought my pet skunk Newt here and was beyond impressed by Dr. Keller, I was shocked by his great knowledge of skunks. My skunk was going through a terrible phase of seizures and bronchitis and Dr. Keller took amazing care of him, no more seizures which I am beyond grateful for! Very reasonable prices here as well. For any fellow skunk owners or exotic owners out there, your pets are in great hands here!!

My harlequin macaw was egg bound (she was a HIM, all her life until I adopted her and all of a sudden she’s laying eggs lol) and I was coming there or calling about 1-4 times a week for about a month. They also treated my 2 green cheek conures after they were attacked.They gave me AMAZING info as bird owners themselves and paperwork on diet and husbandry. They have also praised me for working hard on trying to make things better as a new large bird owner (that made me appreciate them even more). They do not make you feel like you are invalid or uneducated, they use it as a teaching moment so you are more knowledgeable. They noticed the little things that make a difference. I've seen cats and docile old dogs at vet offices before as the kind of "shop pet" but was surprised to be approached by a large fighting breed dog when I took my pet in recently. Why a vet would allow a fighting breed dog to roam freely around other animals is beyond me. My dog has twice been attacked by fighting breed dogs and his already high stress level went to 11 knowing there was one of these types of dogs roaming around. I don't take him to dog parks and doggy beer gardens for this reason so I guess this vet is on the list too.

I took my little dog Oreo up there to have a tumor taken out of her nose and face in February and I couldn't have asked for a more caring staff who put me at ease and answered all my questions. Dr Keller did a wonderful job, he is a kind and compassionate vet who truly loves the animals he cares for. They are incredibly professional but you can tell that they all love the fur babies and want only what is best for them. I have repeatedly called them many times since then and they have always taken the time to answer my questions and guide me in the care of my dog.

Dr. Keller is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! He is extremely compassionate and always has your pet's best interest in mind. He did everything to help save my sick (very old) rabbit and even though she ultimately passed away, he was able to give me an extra week with her and that's priceless. He is wonderful with my dog, but also with all of my exotics as well. It's very hard to find a vet that's good with exotics and he is the best!!! I wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else!

I don’t know his name, but this young doctor does fantastic job. Instead of convincing you to add more unnecessary procedures for money, he’ll actually do opposites and try’s to cut your cost. He saved my bunny’s life twice, so I can’t think to take her to anywhere else but here.
