Absolutely love this place for their coffee, friendly service and warm atmosphere. I’ve met friends here for coffee in the mornings and have always enjoyed my time. A special shout out to Sam who has often served me early in the mornings - once bringing me a coffee across the street in January as I was removing ice from the sidewalk at Christ Reformed Baptist Church! Great barista/great service!

This place is a gem. The coffee is superbly crafted and the environment is as relaxing as the mountains around it. The donuts and other treats are very good, but some of their hot items like the egg cups sometimes come out underdone. They also offer wine and have a great selection.

Stopped in vs National chain nearby…super happy we did! Visually pleasing with a bar/open window facing drive up lookout mountain. Cinnamon roll is amazing! Coffee is yummy too. Nice to be able to pick up a bottle of wine. Employees are helpful and friendly. A definite stop…when in Chattanooga definitely “look out” for this little gem!

The service was wonderful but the coffee was awful. What I wanted they were out of (found this out after I ordered for clarity.) The barista attempted to make something similar and I honestly wish they were just like I can’t really make anything close. Because what I got was 1/10.Atmosphere was pretty chill. Got our order to go. Also got a muffin that had the flavor profile of fresh sandpaper. The bottom was dry and falling apart and the top was sticky but not really sweet. It was an abomination from the Lovecraft school of Bakery I’d presume.My matcha latte was fine. For 23 bucks, I’d expect better. Ended up having to grab more later which was a bummer.Everybody misses. I’ll probably never be back since I was just driving through but next time just say, “Yeah, I’m sorry I can’t make anything like what you wanted. I’d be happy to get you anything else or we can refund you for the trouble.” Always keep it 100. Because I’d have appreciated that more than whatever the hell I was given to drink. Stay up!

Delicious coffee! The egg bites were a lot tastier than Starbucks. The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to visiting for wine and cheese when the license comes in!

Dissatisfied with service. Went Tuesday evening during happy hour. The guy working didn't know anything about happy hour. Served our wine and then 20 minutes later came over and said he spoke to manager who said only 2 wines on list were 20% off and they were not the wines we ordered. I asked if there were any snacks and he said no. Then I read on the menu that there was a spinach and artichoke dip. Please train your wait staff. Very disappointing experience.

This is a nice looking and feeling establishment. The workers are very sweet and welcoming. I think the coffee is a bit plain and would need a bit of a spice up. Update: I like their coffee and service, but I still think they need to bring it up to the next level.

I'm so glad I found this gem. The owners and staff have a passion for excellence. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit and talk, read or work. The cinnamon sugar doughnut I ordered was made in house and was delectable. I'm looking forward to trying their other treats. The prices here are about 40 percent lower than Starbucks and Goodman's. I live on Lookout Mountain, and I just found my new favorite place to relax.

We went this morning and loved the atmosphere! It was a rainy/foggy day but inside this little coffee shop it was warm and cozy. The coffee was incredible and the perfect temperature to immediately enjoy it. The pastries were also fresh and delicious. We are very excited to welcome this new establishment to Lookout Mountain!

Stopped into Canopy for the first time today. Everything was great. The barista greeted us with a smile and was great. The tea and coffee we had were great. The atmosphere is quiet and gives space for playing cards, which we did, or reading and writing. Very comfy, cozy atmosphere. We will be back.

We were visiting Chattanooga for a weekend trip and got so lucky finding this spot. Everyone who works there is welcoming and helpful. The coffee and drinks are incredible. I would love to come back and spend an afternoon here reading and enjoying the great atmosphere.

Highly recommend coming to Canopy! Friendly & knowledgable baristas, & the shop is clean & laid out well for laptop work & small groups. I especially love the indoor/outdoor bar seating to meet / hang out w friends.So happy for this convenient, local shop as a quick stop & for morning coffee meetings that spill over into lunchtime. The coffee options & pastries make Canopy an easy & fun spot to hang out for a while!

This is the perfect spot to hangout on Lookout Mountain to write a paper, read a book, meet a friend or a client, and all for cheaper than Starbucks while supporting a locally owned and operated business! Had a delicious Ham and Jam baguette and the seasonal iced coffee, with a gargantuan cookie for dessert -- it was wonderful! I won't be visiting Starbucks on Lookout again -- Canopy is the place to be!Also stoked for their beer and wine selection!
